Speaker 1 (00:01):
Especially and the jam In Morning show with DJ fourn
It's saunting.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
When you need to know. We got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags. You haven't any more fires. Well,
let's start out in New York because this story is
just it's absolutely insane. Thursday, December fifth. If you haven't
seen the video by now, I feel like you have,
or you've maybe seen just his face. United Healthcare CEO

(00:27):
Brian Thompson was shot and killed Wednesday morning. He was
walking into his hotel in Manhattan after being at the
United Healthcare Conference when a gunman fired multiple shots multiple times,
like twenty feet away from him. Watching the video, it
almost looks like you're watching a movie. It almost couldn't
be real. Gunman was. He had the hood up, he

(00:51):
had a mask on, he had a suppressor on the gun.
So it was it was close to silent. I mean
it's never silent, yeah, but it was a lot quieter
than it normally would be. He definitely gave an air
of confidence carrying the weapon. It got jammed up at
one point, he stayed very calm, cool and collected to me.

(01:12):
It gave he has done this before. I listen. He
then hopped on an e bike and they were able
to map out where he went, and he immediately went
to Central Park and haven't seen him since at least
as of this morning. That's the latest, so he is
still on the loose, which is crazy. The investigators in
New York are asking for any information, offering a ten

(01:34):
thousand dollars reward, and I'm sure you're like everybody else,
thinking why what's going on now? There are a ton
of theories happening online, but one big one is that
there's a possible grudge against the insurance company that he
was the CEO of United Healthcare, because police found on
the bullet casings three different words deny, defend, and depose,

(01:58):
which is wild crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You know, I just thought of he probably set something
up in the park where there was a change of clothes,
so when he went to the park back changed his
clothes and he was able to escape. So now they
don't know what they're looking for. Now they're scouring all
these cameras across the city and they're just like, now
the guy has just lost.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
They got him in Starbucks before, but again he had
a mask covering half his face. He also had a
cell phone with him in Starbucks, which he left at
the at the shooting, but it was a burner or something,
because they're not learning anything as of this morning that
we know of through the phone. You know, Brian Thompson
was a father. He lived in Minnesota with his wife

(02:34):
and kids. He left behind two sons. And the big
question mark is was this a hit? Was this a
personal vendetta that this guy had did he was he
sick at some point and he went to use his
healthcare and they said you can't or you have to
pay an obscene amount of money.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
We don't know unless the guy messed up in something.
I don't know if we ever catch this guy because
all we know that he's white and probably weighs about
one hundred and seventy pounds. Like did he pay for
the e bike with a ghost credit card or whatever
it was?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
But again New York surveillance is on this, yes, Like
they got cameras in places you don't even know, traffic cameras,
subway cameras, bus cameras. Like you know, all you gotta
do is just follow him and eventually you figure it out.
They'll find him.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Unless they have them in the park, right.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I bet you they do.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
You cannot do anything like That's why everybody when when
COVID came and everybody started wearing the scheme masks, people
are loving that because now I don't got to identify
myself because any way you go in New York, there's
a camera.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
This guy knew to a t where Brian Thompson was
going to be, where the conference doors were, where they
were coming out, where they were exiting. Where I mean
he was waiting out there for a minute until he
came out.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I've stayed at that place before, and I just looked
on the map like he did it right in front
of the hotel, like it's one of the busiest parts
of the city.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
In broad day no no, no, not broad daylight, but
basically just in the open. It's not like it was
in the bushes chilling.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
No, right on the sidewalk. As we get more info there,
I'll keep you posted. But like I said, it's awful
because he did leave behind two sons and a grieving wife.
All Right. You might say, if you're a Kendrick fan,
that you feel like Kendrick won won the battle one
the beef between him and Drake, and I would understand that. Okay,

(04:16):
I being a Drake fan, feel like Kendrick did take
the win in the battle and that hurts me to
say that hurts me and my soul. But do I
think Drake's gonna lose any madnee over this? Do I
think people are gonna stop listening to Drake? No, absolutely not.
Because when it comes to rappers and Spotify and there's
Spotify rap that came out yesterday, Drake is still the

(04:40):
number one most listened to rapper. Okay, the number one
spot went to for the number one most largely listened
to artist in twenty twenty four, Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift,
Drake right behind her at number two. The third artist,
which I honestly think was probably my most listening to artists.
Think about the drama? Who did I talk a ton

(05:04):
about this year with a ton of drama and dating?
And Zach Bryan, Oh, Zach Bryan, Zach Brian coming to
a number three, Morgan Walling at number four, and Yay
at number five. People are still listening to Yay and Drake. Okay,
sorry Kendrick, but they're still listening to them.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
But the Drake. Thing has definitely changed though. Here.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I just have to believe that he is working on
a project that is going to blow our minds. Because
the man has been in the cut, he's been chilling,
because he's been taking l after L well.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
I guess he has to writ because that's the only
way to redeem himself and come back with an album
that's amazing. But I don't want it.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
To be a dis I don't want to be a
diss track, like I want him to go back to
his old ways where he's crying and singing about his emotions.
I just I don't want it. I don't all right.
And lastly, I wish Snoop was my dad. I really do,
because he was on the Jennifer Hudson Show and he
was with his daughter and he was asked about gifts
that he has given her. Wait until you hear how

(06:03):
much money he gave Snoop his daughter for her wedding.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Snoop, this one is for you, the most over the
top gift I've ever gotten my daughter.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Is the only thing about this gift, she never got
to open it, or she hasn't opened it yet.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
It was a million dollars for her wedding. Yes, what
do you ask out for that? My god, oh, my goodness.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
But Jen, I told her, if it was me, my
wedding would have been full hundred and nine hundred would
have win.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
H Mon, Daddy is still teaching lessons.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I'll tell you that a million dollar hair.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
So he's implying that she spent that on the West
hot took it.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
So he's saying, listen, I gave her a meal for
the wedding, and then he said, if I were her,
I would have only had one hundred thousand dollars wedding
and pocketed the rest. But she clearly probably went on
to have a million dollar.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
We you know, which is a stupid move, Like I
would have taken like that mil invested into like a home.
But at the same time she knows that the cash
cow is still alive. I was gonna say, yeah, she
can get another like that.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
It's a mill and my hand to clean. I'm sure
if she went to him was like, Dad, can you
help me get this.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
House another mil? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
God, it just makes me. I just think about my
dad and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
My parents got me, they got me the open bar
for the wedding, and I'm pretty sure they pay for
the honeyman, but not a million.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
My dad was cutting us a check once a month
because he didn't trust himself with his gambling, and it
was listen, it was what he could afford at the time,
and I'm I'm grateful it was not a million.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
I think we paid for a whole wedding also.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Which honestly is what a lot of people have to
do in this day and age, because they're crazy. Once
you put the word wedding onto something or baby, the
prices are just through the roof.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
I have two daughters, so I got a few weddings.
You Oh my god, Oh my god, think about that
after college.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
All right, that's three things even know For Thursday, December fifth,
Speaking of Kendrick Lamar, he and Sizza are teaming up.
They are going on the Grand National Tour. They start
in April, but they will head our way May the twelfth.
Are going to be a Gillette Stadium. These tickets actually
go officially on sale tomorrow. The presale was yesterday, so
there's still a ticket that is going to be extremely

(08:19):
hard to come by, and you gotta believe they'll sell
out tomorrow. In second six, one, seven, nine, three, one, one,
nine four five collars twenty five. We are getting you
