Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tie.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
Everybody Happy Friday. Oh yeah, we are here in the
beautiful city of Medford, Massachusetts, while DJ forn is in
the beautiful city of Miami, Florida.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Miami.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Listen, I know where i'd pick to be if I
had an action.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Miami's good for like a couple of nights.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Though, agreed, it's vegacy to me. Yeah, I think he
feels the same way. He's not like staying long term there.
He's just going for rolling loud.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
But South Beach in the last twenty years has like
not gotten better. It's gotten a lot worse now, you know.
I mean it's still a good time. It's still Miami Beach,
It's still beautiful. But like after like a weekend, I
am good. Yeah, but sorry, what do you hear? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I took a sip of proteins. What Oh that was
my protein shake by the way. Yeah, no, agreed. The
last time I went to Miami, I almost feel like
I've aged out of Miami a little bit because it's
definitely the hot spot for the younger demo.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Yes, and Vegas is different in the sense of like
there is something for every age troop for everything that
you're looking at a show Miami is like super young
girls in mini skirts, like yeah twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Still again very fun. Don't get me. But if like
you know, I never got aboutcher up party, you know
that's right. So if I were to say somebody was like,
all right, Ash, it's time, like we're doing a Boucher
Ratt party, I would never pick Vegas or Miami.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I would always go to Vegas. Vegas has never been boring.
Where would you pick?

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Ah?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I think? I No? New Orleans?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yes, yeah, New Orleans is where I would pick, one
hundred percent because that was that was originally where we
were supposed to go during Halloween, which obviously makes all
the most sense for my lifestyle. But yeah, I mean listen,
And I only say that especially because this last weekend,
the incident of me getting kicked out of the club,
like I'm not meant for It's not my life anymore.

(01:57):
It's not now if it's a selects special occasion, we've
discussed this, I'm going Forren gets us the hook up
at Han and we're doing a night whatever like one
hundred percent, but that way that.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
No, no, no, I feel the same way.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Not random days. I'm not hitting the club.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yes, I walk into place like that, I feel like
I'm the oldest person there. I feel like people are
looking at me saying the oh, that dude's a dad.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I felt that too. But I'll drink them all under
the table. They can't hang with me, and I want
to make that clear. I don't know who you twenty
one year olds think. Y'all are beating drinking as much
as I am. And I also feel like I can
upkeep the party level. Yes, it's just I need my
people around me because if not, I'm looking around, I'm like, damn.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I remember, like back in the day when I was
working at Kiss and doing all this stuff. I was
in the clubs like three nights a week, and like
it was exhausting, it was a lot of fun too,
But looking back, I do not want to go back
to that at all.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I think back to the college days where we would
go to venue or rumor. We would stuff nips in
our bras and in our dresses because we didn't have
the money to be able to buy bottles or do
anything like that, and we would wait in line. We
would wait in line. I specifically remember a time where

(03:12):
it was snowing and we were we would call them
our like poop jackets other name, and we didn't care
about them. So we knew that once we got into
the club, if we lost those jackets, it didn't matter
because those were our poop coats. And we would stand
in line in the snow in little dresses and heels
just to get into the club to drink our free well,

(03:34):
to bring our nips that we had to before because
we couldn't afford the drinks.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
And all you girls are like six feet tall, so.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Pay the cover charge. Like, yeah, I did my time.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Like I did my time. That happened. Then I started
doing this job. Then we like I started to get
into the clubs and I did have to pay the
cover charge anymore, and that was huge. She was like, wow,
we have made it, honey. And then now I just think, yeah,
like I'm I'm My life right now is trying to
sneak in a drink when I can and feeding Daisy

(04:09):
different types of food. She had a banana last night,
Like that's what's going on in my world.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, mine's the same way. I have a couple of
glasses of wine on a Thursday and I am just
like falling asleep.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yeah, it's just but I can still get after it.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yeah, you can.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
When it's a set up occasion for mommy to get out.
I'm gonna get out.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Last time I think I saw you drink a lot
was we had a dinner when a consultant came to
town and you had like ten martinis and I made
a video of the whole thing, and you're just slugging
them back. And there's like an area where like Smash's
not fully yell yet, but like there's that zoom where
she's having fun.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
It reminds me of like if someone knocks in her
door and you had the chain lock and you didn't
want to open it all the way, so the door
is kind of open, but just my eyeball speaking in
on like do you want to dance?

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
With all that being said, it's Friday cheers in the
freaking weekend. If you're going to the club, I'm jealous.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
With four and it's Saunty when you need to know, No,
we got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbags.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
You haven't any more.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Five Friday, December thirteenth. It's spooky season during the holiday season.
We love that the moon was showing off this morning.
Something crazy is gonna happen today. I mean it's Friday,
so yeah, and it's the thirteenth, all right, it's happening.
Brand new Snoop album produced by Doctor Dre, came out
at midnight. It's entitled Missionary. It is the thirty one

(05:34):
year follow up album to Doggy Style. Thirty one years
it's been.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I remember that because I used to listen to it
on the way to school when I was in eighth grade.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Just about under fifteen fifty five zero minutes. It has
sixteen tracks on The album has a ton of features.
I'm gonna give you a couple clips from some of
the songs on the album. Here's a feature your legs
on Snoop with Sting another part of.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
Me my mother.

Speaker 3 (06:03):

Speaker 8 (06:20):
I'm gonna get on the bottom away.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
It's a little better time than today.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Stata High Stack, what do you think?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I don't know. There's a lot happening there.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
There's a lot.

Speaker 9 (06:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
That track doesn't know what it is yet, just to.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Figure itself out. Another guest appearance on the album Here
Snoop Janey, I acho with gorgeous.

Speaker 10 (07:10):
Last time I checked, I wanted to plug to your plug.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
I'm the connect. What you expecting go? She did, never
set up the lesson, never lose. I always winning, won
my shuffle of death, dropping these jews, better your chest,
you know the brules.

Speaker 11 (07:22):
Plus when she always comes with a guest, she's getting
the poor West be the plan of making the give
her to bloons back.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
Up and it's getting my breast.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Show you how to do with pop.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Snoop's fifty three years old. Like he he sounds the
exact same.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
He sounds amazing and the mellion that it's perfect.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
That one was nice. Uh this one, I think everyone's
gonna be excited for Snoop fifty and eminem guns and smoke.

Speaker 9 (07:47):
Gotcha, gotcha, b I g time got your dropped you
as soon as I spot Oh well, why would you?

Speaker 10 (07:57):
Let's take a second, hifuff a small man. You smell
it in the air. Product come my entire miss I.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Come from freestyling. Note but good shots of the tire rings.
Nothing more caster than my voice.

Speaker 12 (08:10):
Let me see I remember when I was thirteenth searching
for how to get my revenge on the world that
hurt me.

Speaker 11 (08:17):
Thirsty for commas and double Lonton's has turned me. Were
entrepreneur and now must have constantly caught in some kind
of contract mercy. That was my mantra that Tanha was
kind of kind of extending. But why should that be
kind of the kind of people that were kind of
me coming up?

Speaker 4 (08:31):
So let the cancer just.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
A little taste of the brand new Snoop Doctor Dre
album Missionary Listening.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
It sounds good. I'm not listening to that on the
way home.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
I will not. I will Tom Petty also on the
album how Tom like five years ago, Kelly roll method,
man of the Names, just to name a few, Fat Money,
Fat Money, your goy, that's your guy. All right, let's
talk Little Dirk. Little Dirk is in more trouble. I mean,
the kid is already facing a murder for higher conspiracy

(09:02):
charge in the plot to kill Kwondo Rondo. We know that.
Now it looks like he might even been linked to
a murder for higher death of Stephen Mack. Academic sweeted
out and said Little Dirk has been linked in a
newly unsealed file in a Chicago murder, where he is
alleged to have been behind the murder of either Stephen

(09:23):
or Stefan Mack, and is believe that Mack was killed
as a revenge for the death of Lil Dirk's brother
d Thang on jan twenty seven of twenty twenty two.
They haven't officially charged him yet, though he is being
named in a recently unsealed paperwork in advance of his
detention hearing today litl Dirk is going away, away.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Away on I but like, you can't go out and
kill people.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
No, you can't, like you, you really you can. But
you're gonna for the rest of your life, in your career,
your life, all of it over at such a young age.
All right, And lastly, let's stay in court. We has
three men are accusing Diddy of drugging and raping them
between the years of twenty nineteen and twenty twenty two.
It is insane. I mean, we could do this every
single day, Like there are so many lawsuits out against

(10:09):
Diddy right now. These three men, all staying anonymous, filed
a civil suit in New York, each alleged victim saying
that did he drugged and sexually assaulted them in different times.
You know, Tony Busby has an array like a slew
of clients that are suing Diddy at this time. Did

(10:31):
He's legal team responding immediately saying these complaints are full
of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions
against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him. Obviously,
we know that Diddy is expected in court in May
and is awaiting criminal trials for racketeering, sex trafficking, and
sexual assault charges.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Let's just say you take half of them and throw
them out as being false. There's still a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Last we keep the video we know of Cassie and
what he did to her, and two or three of
these hundreds he's gone.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
And then we're still waiting to see one footage from
inside the house and two like who else was involved
in these? And there's a lot of celebrities in Hollywood
like shaking in their boots, and they.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Took his computer away, So how is he gonna how
is he gonna fight this?

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, it's just not right.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Sit there, He's not getting the special treatment he got
outside of jail. The three things need to know for Friday,
December thirteenth, don't forget about the pod guys. Self and
Santia are holding it down. The formans with us all week.
If you missed anything, just down the free iHeartRadio app
and search ashl W Morning Sadly and the jam In Morning.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Show with DJ Forn. It's Saunty K Morning.

Speaker 8 (11:36):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety four
or five.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Oh man, you guys, Hi, good morning myself, Slanti's here,
AJ's here, DJ Forn is in Miam, Jimmy, he's there
for Rolling Loud. I feel I know him, and I
feel like he'll end up sneaking into the show for
a little bit.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
Yeah, deff get it. And he's also well connected with
all these artists too, so I'm sure I think so too.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
So anyways, I walk in. He's not here, but there's
like a little piece of paper stuck to the to
the desk and it says foreign and it's like all
of his empty water bottles. So he's here in spirit.
So I'm like, what the what the hell is this?
It's like a graveyard of his water bottles hanging out,
and next to it was a box and the box

(12:26):
was addressed to me, and the box looked like it
had been opened. So I told AJ that I was
fearful that it was like a live animal or something.
It just it something was off about this box. Okay,
So I opened it up and there's a card in there,
and I start reading the card again. Box is addressed

(12:47):
to me. I start reading the card and it's like, hey,
Uncle Barry, I love you. I want to thank you
for that. I'll pack a wool blanket you got me
when I was little. I wish I could see you soon.
I remember our thanksgivings together. Here is a sweatshirt for you.
Merry Christmas. I love you, Uncle Barry.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
So Uncle Barry has no communication.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
With this person.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
So Uncle Barry clearly hasn't spoken this person in a while.
But Uncle Barry was going to get a sweatshirt that
I feel like.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I should keep that sweatshirt's nice. I feel like you
have to keep that because the work it's going to
take that. Get that back to the person and back
down to Texas, where I assume that thing was going
is like size too much, war feel like you have
to keep it.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
It was it's it's a Texas Longhorn sweatshirt. It's a
two x the box was addressed to me. I know
people are gonna start calling in being like, you have
to return it, guys, somebody find me Uncle Barry.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I'll send it alone, I mean. And also to we
we've all been there. If the box I gets Celeberty
House is somewhat good and looks pretty like attractive, that
box just disappears. You don't return it.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
But if it's yes, you do. If it says someone
else's name, that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
I don't, oh man, no, especially when you buy from Amazon.
When you return it, it goes into this, to this,
to this, to the spot. It doesn't go back to
the center.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I know, and you know it's so crazy that you
say that it goes back to this place. And I've
heard of people being able to go to that place
and shop. Where is that?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
And the discounts are amazing. I think there's one locally.
I feel like it's out in the Metro West.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Because I've returned stuff, not because there was anything wrong
with it. It just didn't fit the space, or I
didn't I'm stupid, I didn't measure it first or whatever.
I've heard that though, it doesn't just go back on
the shelf for you.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
To buy it. So to my point, why not just
keep all the stuff that guy gets to see it?

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Well, because it's Christmas, and I don't know if if
Uncle Barry's not going to get anything but that Uncle Barrys.
I just want everyone to know I am not Uncle Barry.
So I don't know why, but.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Uncle Barry sounds old. I think, like, what are you
gonna get a couple of months with that?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
He bought this person at Alpaca Wool.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
You know, because in the car the person is referencing
some things given from like thirty years ago. So Uncle
Barry's on the older end and he's the uncle, so
he's probably like in his eighties. Yeah, yeah, like he's
in a nursing home. He doesn't need that.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
What's gonna happen is we were chatting about this. It's
a it's a Texas Longhorns double X a large sweatshirt,
which is again what I would buy. I always run
my hoodies big. You're probably gonna see it in one
of the videos sometime makes and it's fine and we're
just no. If there's one comment about the hoodie, better
not be Uncle Barry.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
What I think that I'm gonna make.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
No, I just feel like someone listening to the show
is gonna see me in this watcher and comment under
Uncle Barry. Uncle Barry wanted his hoodie. I just feel
like my name is on the box. I'm not really
sure how to proceed.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
That's like a crazy thing that happens when somebody's like that,
unhinged and then sending packages to the wrong people. You're
just inviting it. Keep it ash, It's Christmas. You just
got a gift.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Wow, Merry Christmas to me and Uncle Barry. But if
for some reason you guys are listening and you know
Uncle Barry, I have his two X Texas Longhorn Hoodings.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Morning show with feign It's Saunty.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best Throwbacks you haven't any more five.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Friday, December thirteenth, Spooky, be honest, did you know that the
Billboard Music Awards were on last night? Because I sure
did not. I had no idea back in the day
seeing anything on social about them.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
The Billboards were one of the biggest ones. They used
to fly us out like every year. We would broadcast
live from there. And do interviews like all day long.
It was an event.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
They might want to bring that back because I feel
like there's nothing on social nothing's trending from it.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
But I think the tough thing is people stop watching
TV live, so they weren't able to sell commercials as
much as I used.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
To Church Church trail. So well, hey, guys, here's the thing.
If you're going to work today and somebody brings up
the Billboard Music Awards and you want to feel like
you know something, there's only one thing for you to know.
Taylor Swift won every award. I'm back kidding you, guys, guys,
Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard one hundred, Top
Billboard two hundred, Top one hundred, Songwriter, Top Streaming Artists,

(17:09):
Top Radio song Top Billboard Global Award like Clean Sweet.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Essentially, we can't be shocked she had the biggest year.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
If her name was in the category she was winning.
Here she is accepting one of her seven thousand awards.
Billboard is counting your stuff.

Speaker 13 (17:26):
They're counting what you listen to, the albums that you're
passionate about, and so I count these as like fan
voted awards, because you, guys are the ones who care
about our albums and come see us in concert, and
everything that's happened with the Aras tour and the torture
post apartment.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
I just have to say thank you.

Speaker 13 (17:46):
It means the world to me that you guys have
embraced the things I've made, you know, and the fact
that you've cared so much about my music, And this
is like the nicest early birthday present you could have
given me.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
So thank you very much. That was last night. Because
today is her actual birthday, she is thirty five today.
Does he post?

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Does he post for her?

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I don't think so. Really, they've never posted anything together
on social media.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
All right, Well, the bigger question is does he propose today?
And I say no, No.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
There's nothing worse than a proposal on a holiday or
on a birthday. Like let that live itself, give yourself
an extra day to celebrate during the year.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Don't do that, and then don't do the like Valentine's
Day thing too, because that's also stupid.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Christmas is coming up, and I bet you so many
people have planned proposals for Christmas and they think that's
the time to do it. This is getting away from
itself because we're talking about the music wars. But I
just want to say, don't do it. Don't do it
on Christmas. Let Christmas have its time, and then again,
you can give yourself an additional holiday throughout the year
to celebrate your engagement that's not on Christmas.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Very true.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I just don't think he posts for her because I
think it he would have to turn the comment section
off and I think it would turn into a whole thing.
But I would love it. I would love to see it.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Fine, But he will talk about her on the podcast though.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
I agree, which is you know, that's kind of where
he does it. That's his safe space. Just to add in.
For Billboard Music Awards because I'm petty, Top Rap Artist
went to Drake over Kendrick, and top wrap mail Artists
also went to Drake over.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Kendrick, just saying they feel bad for him.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Cut your ass up, all right. So we have Time
Magazines Person of the Year last year, speaking of it
went today in twenty twenty three. This year, Times Person
of the Year goes to.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
I know the answer, Oh you do, Yes, it's.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Not fun Donald Jay Trump, it's Jay Trump Ray, Yes,
it is Donnie, which it makes sense to me.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Won the election once again, and the last time, I mean
one was in twenty sixteen.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yep, he joins thirteen other presidents. Joey b was up
there to also receive the recognition. NBA star Caitlin Clark
named Athlete of the Year, Elton John Icon of the Year,
and Lisa Sue of Advanced micro Device is CEO of
the Year.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
What does she do us?

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Advanced micro Devices has to.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Do something with AI. That's the only thing I can
think of in why this would make sense?

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Shout out to her CEO of the Year. How many
people are going to get the Time magazine and burn
it because Donnie's on the front. I actually legit saw
the headline the other day where it was like people
aren't going to Christmas because as half of their family
voted for Trump and they're still mad about it.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
It's really stupid. The other tough thing is too, I
don't know if anybody buys magazine like anymore.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
I look at them while I'm waiting in line at
the checkout at the grocery store. But that's about it. Yeah,
it's about it, all right. Speaking of Drake, this is
kind of exciting. I don't know what is going on
obviously there's going to be a collab, and I know
it's going to be in the merch department, But does
this mean we're going to get Patriots by Ovo gear?
Because the NFL and Drake are teaming up both of
their instagrams featuring both logos with a date of twelve thirteen.

(20:56):
Happened earlier this week, so we know it's some sort
of Ovo NFL merch. It's coming out today. We don't
know exactly what it is. But let me say I'm
not I'm the biggest Patriot fan right now. But if
there's an Ovo Patriots patriotsweater, big Mama needs it.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
It reminds me when Travis Scott did all the collabs
with all the colleges, and I think you bought one
from Northeastern, right, I.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Bought the Northeastern hoodie. It was Yeah, it was a
Travis Scott collab. He designed him himself that that collection
was amazing, but it was like a capsule collection. There
was only certain schools, so you're right there. Like, do
I think the Browns are gonna get an Ovo hoodie?

Speaker 9 (21:30):
No?

Speaker 2 (21:30):
But if they do, my Dad's getting one for Christmas.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Tell you that much the price I on that's going
to be at least one hundred and fifty.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
I know I got to keep my ash on it.
I gotta make sure I have to. I have to.
That is three things you need to know for Friday,
December thirteenth. We got to call at like six am
and she was like, Hey, Ashley, are you doing Kendrick
tickets right now? We weren't then, but we are in
this very moment six one seven nine three one one
nine four five six one seven nine three one one

(21:56):

rest of the world, there's nobody big than Kendrick Lamar.
Right now. He's teaming up with Sizza. They're on the
Grand National Tour. It's coming to to Let Hopefully you'll
be there.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Good luck.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Callror twenty five.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Dashi and the jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn
and SAWNTI Big Morning.

Speaker 8 (22:11):
Bostin's number one for hip hop jamming ninety four or five.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
Hi, everybody, Good morning, Dashing the gym In Morning Show
was I was just saying to Nick Rocco off air.
I was like, you know, for a good chunk of
our audience and that you guys that listened to this show.
You know, we were dialed in when it came to
the Karen Read case. I mean, there was nobody better
to have on this show to talk about it than

(22:39):
Nick Rocco because Nick is is a friend of Karen's
but also was inside of the courtroom. And you know,
I think back to the times of Nick coming on
after a day in court and filling us in on
what was going on, and people calling in and battling
him whether they thought Karen was innocent or guilty, and
it was just we were entrenched at it, right, It

(23:00):
was all we talked about for so long, and then boom,
we have a hung jury and it's like on to
the next thing, right, I mean, we see Karen's face
still here and again on the news. But after that
hung jury verdict black thereof. I don't know about you
some but I just felt such disappointment. I wanted to

(23:22):
know one way or the other. Obviously I don't think
she's guilty, that's just a personal thing there, but I
wanted an answer, especially at.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
The end of the day when you think about what
the Canton police did and how they acted, like you
just thought there was no way that it wasn't clear
as day what the conviction was going to be back.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
So Nick is back to kind of fill us in
on on the things that have happened since. And Nick,
I know I've asked you this, but just to kind
of start here, you're back in court. We finally get
a quote, verdict or an answer. It turns out to
be a hung jury. Was Karen disappointed in that or
did she still kind of consider that a win?

Speaker 1 (23:59):
I would say that, you know, I wouldn't say a win,
but she didn't go to jail, So yeah, I guess
technically a win. Yeah, I think.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
For me personally, not going to jail a win. I'm
not going to jail where we found from me, So
I get that.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
The only issue with that is, you know, they knew
they were going to have to do this all over again,
and that's where we are today, doing it all over again.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
So let's start there, hung jury. And I remember after
that that news came out over the next couple of weeks,
whether it was Turtle Boy or Barcel, like, the certain
people were posting that some of the jury members were
coming out and kind of giving us a little bit
of inside info on what was happening. I know they
were a quote hung jury, but a hung jury can
mean just one juror couldn't make a decision. And what

(24:44):
did what did we learn was really happening inside that
jury room.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
So just to start off, there was three charges second
degree murder, manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a crime.
Five jurors had come out and said that all the
jurors in the jury room were not guilty for a
second degree murder and for leaving the scene of a crime.
And at first it was about six to six, stuck
on manslaughter. They came back to the judge they you know,

(25:13):
back and forth a couple of times with a few notes.
They finally gave the two ye Rodrigrez statement to the jury,
which is basically, hey, listen, put your failings aside. You
guys need to come up with a decision. So then
it changed from six to six, it went I believe
eight to four, and then ultimately back to six to
six because the jurors who ended up changing their minds

(25:33):
was like, no, this is not right. You know, she
didn't do this. So it was ended up being split
and they were hung. Now the reason why, and this
is this is a big issue in most court cases
you can get a partial verdict guilty on one charge,
hung on another charge, not guilty on another charge. But
in the judge's instructions, she specifically said, you cannot fill

(25:55):
out the verdict forms unless you're unanimous on all three charges. Now,
they weren't unanimous on all three. They were only unanimous
on two. That's why some of these jurors decided to
speak out once they found out that the Commonwealth was
going to retry her on all three charges again. So
that's when they finally said, hey, whoa we we all
came to a decision on these two charges. She shouldn't

(26:16):
be charged with that again. And that's when her defense
team brought it to Judge Beverly Canoni's attention. She didn't
really seem to care, and that's how it ended up
in the Supreme Court.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
And that manslaughter charge, the six to six anybody who
had saying in that jury room, we don't know specific jurors,
do we.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Non? Specifically the ones who did come out, some of
them had said that they were not guilty on those charges.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I was wondering about this, okay, and.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Then obviously, you know, if it's hung. There were clearly
some that believe she did it.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Okay, So fast forward, we're twelve days away from Christmas.
It's Friday, the thirteenth of December. I feel like that
was like a summertime thing. Where is Karen Reid at today?
Will she be tried again for these I know I
saw her face on the news this morning because I
see they're trying to get some woman on the stand

(27:11):
that they believe could kind of lend to the theory
that John O'Keefe was in fact attacked by a dog.
There's a lot of moving parts here, but just to
kind of break it down for everybody, Nick, where are
we at today, twelve days away from Christmas with the
Karen Reid case?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
So the Supreme Court basically has it in their hands
to decide what is going to happen with those two charges.
Either they're going to say you have no grounds to
stand on, You're going to be charged on all three again,
or they may potentially make the.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
Judge pull the jury.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Now, the original court case for the second trial was
supposed to be in January. But if you don't have
a decision on what she's going to be charged with yet,
you can't have a court case in less than a month,
so Judge bev did finally decide to postpone it till April,
most likely due to the fact that the Supreme Court
hasn't made a decision yet because they believe they're out
on Christmas break until like the middle of January. So

(28:06):
once all that comes back, that's really going to determine
how the second trial is going to go, because either
they're going to defend her on three charges or they're
just going to defend her on manslaughter. So that's that's
that's crucial. I mean, that's that's the difference of another
two month case or a two week case in a trial, and.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
There is a world right in which she doesn't get
retried again, but they've decided that they want to push
forward and retry her.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Again, correct. I Mean one of the things in that
vanity there article that was said was that they couldn't
even find a prosecutor who wanted to prosecute the case.
Hence why they had to go out and hire Hank
Brennan for seventy five thousand dollars to prosecute this case.
And he's admitted multiple times in court that he didn't

(28:53):
even watch the first trial. He hasn't read the transcripts.
And as far as doctor Marie Russell, the woman we
saw yesterday in court, she did testify in the first trial.
Judge Beverly Canoni declared her an expert in the first trial,
but Hank Brennan says, wait a minute, she's no expert.
She doesn't know what she's talking about.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
I refer to her as the dog lady, but she
is the one who is trying to that they're using
to try to prove and lend to the theory that
there was potentially a dog bite on qspot.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Okay, yep, so they had a what they did yesterday
was called a war deer and it's basically they get
to ask the expert all the questions they want, then
the judge decides whether she's an expert or not. Now,
is Judge bev going to go against her previous ruling
saying she's an expert who knows that she's very unpredictable
in the Karen Reid case. And Hank Brennan doesn't want

(29:48):
her to be able to testify because again it goes
against their theory. But I think what people are going
to see in the second trial is you're going to
have a lot more. I think a lot more. This
is going to be called for the defense as far
as experts go.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Right, So just you know, personally speaking, I know you're
friendly with Karen. There was a chance that this there
was a hung jury couldn't they couldn't decide, but that
she could just move on with her life, right that
they didn't go back to trial. Now they're going back
to trial. She asked to do this all over again potentially,
whether she's looking at just the manslaughter charge or all three.

(30:26):
Is she tired or is she still have does she
still have that fire?

Speaker 12 (30:30):
Like?

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Is she still like let's do it? Let's she still
have that fire in her? Because it's it's exhausting for
us even to talk about it. I can't imagine being
her through all this.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Yeah, I mean she she is one percent still standing strong.
Nothing is going to break her. I mean, look, you know,
if if anything was going to break her, it was
going to be them trying to humiliate her in quote
with text messages and those voicemails and and that didn't
you know, She's still showing up every day, She's still
talking in front of the meat.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Nothing, nothing is going to stop this woman from continuing
the fight because her and her team know the truth.
A lot of us out here in the public, we
know the truth. It just happens to be that the
Commonwealth has a lot to lose if Karen Reid is
found to be not guilty. Michael Morrissey the DA Right.
He was caught using burner email addresses to email judges

(31:23):
about Turtle Boy's case, about Karen Reid's case, and he's
one of the main ones that is most likely going
to be the target of the FBI, which again the
FBI is still investigating this case. The FBI has not
closed this case. For the people who are out there
saying they're done, they're not coming. They may not move
for another year, but they are still involved.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Yeah, And by asking that question, I don't, by any
means mean to say that she's tired in a sense
of like, you know, I'm just going to give up.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
It is what it is.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
But it's dreams.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
And listen, she's she's become, you know, a local select here.
I'm not going to lie to everybody. When she put
her house up for sale, I was looking through every
photo like I wanted to see the house that Karen
Reid lived in. You know, it's like she has just
become this celebrity in the New England area, whether you
think she's guilty or not, you know who Karen Reid is.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Yeah, and I'm sure, I'm sure you know that people
took that into consideration when they went to go buy
the house, right, Like, did they want to buy the
house because of this situation? You know, I guess depending
on what side they were on, if they thought she
was guilty, they weren't even going to that open house.
If they thought she was innocent, maybe they wanted to
buy the house because because it might be history in
the future. But you know, she owns, she owes so

(32:39):
much money that the sale of the house basically was
just to pay for what she owed. Unfortunately, and she
still has the civil trial going on. She's being sued
by the family for wrongful death, which that that's still
moving along. The most recent update in the civil case
is that Karen cannot be deposed, but everybody else can

(33:01):
be still, So you know, the bars, all the witnesses,
everybody can still be deposed except Karen Reid. And my
personal belief is that the O'Keefe family wanted to get
Karen Reid in the deposition so they could use it
against her or try to use it against her in
her second trial, and that didn't end up working out
for them. Right.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Could you ever picture if this goes to trial and
she's looking at whether she's looking at the bandslaughter, she's
looking at all three charges a day where Karen gets
on the stand.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
To be honest, I don't really think she has to.
She has. I mean, you know that's why she pays
Alan David the big box, right. I mean, these guys
know what they're doing. And then they just brought on
Attorney Alessi from New York. That guy is a powerhouse
as well. If anybody watched yesterday, he took a very
long time with doctor Marie Russell, the dog expert, just

(33:57):
to make sure everyone understands how qualified she is no
matter what you know. Hank Brennan says, because she is older,
she can get tripped up sometimes. Some of this stuff
she did thirty years ago, so she might not remember
every slight detail, but she knows what she's talking about,
so she has. I mean, if you're going in for murder,
she has the team you want. It's that simple, so
she really doesn't have to get up there. She may,

(34:18):
but I don't think she's going to.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
We're not learning as much as we were during like
the thick of the trial on TV and seeing things
on social as much as we were. But if somebody
listening is right listening right now and they want to follow,
you know, every little update that you've given, maybe something
that they didn't even know. Maybe they had no idea
that there was a dog expert on the stand yesterday
involving the Karen Reid case. Is the Facebook page that
you started still active and is that the best place

(34:43):
you would say to go for accurate, up to date information.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yeah, you can go to the Facebook group Justice for
Officer John o'keith and Karen read Turtleboy Official or what
I've noticed throughout the Karen Reid trial, there's a lot
of independent media on YouTube. You can follow Turtle Boy,
Melanie Little, the Young Jerks, MASA Media, Brian LTL Media.

(35:08):
I mean, all these people cover this case almost on
a daily basis on YouTube and it's not you know,
it's not coming from Channel seven, Channel five, where they're
only telling you what they want you to hear. Karen
Reid had court today. Didn't look good? Well, why didn't
it look good? You know what I mean? And you go,
but you go on YouTube and you find you can
see all the courts. You can see everything there. Yeah,
because no one's being censored. So I think the best

(35:31):
information you can get is definitely going on YouTube or
you know, checking out the Facebook page. But it's very,
very active. Still, we are all still involved as much
as we were before, still raising money for her because
the second trial is going to cost her I'm sure
over a million as well.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Crazy And just so we're clear, she has the same
squad behind her. Correct, every all lawyers, her team, everybody's
going to stay for this next round.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
And then just added the uh, the actually in the
attorney from New York is doing a pro bono that's
how much he believes in it.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Wow, she's got the chills. All right. Well, we all
know how it is when you come on you've pissed
people off and you've made people happy giving us an
update on where Karen is. Thank you, And I think
it's in our best interest probably with all this movement,
to have Nick on at least once a month leading
up to the next childcause I just don't want to
get we were behind. I don't want to play catch
up anymore. So Nick, if you're cool, we'll do that

(36:22):
that way. We're up to date on on the very latest,
getting ready and gearing up for another Karen Reed trial.
Absolutely all right, buddy, thank you.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
You got it.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
It's just again things happen and Christmas is around the corner.
I mean, we just had things get There's so many
things happening in our own lives that you know we
might miss it. But this, this woman's about to be
literally tried again.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
And even when things are in a lull, it's still captivating,
you know what I mean? And true? And now to
think that she has to spend a million bucks again.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
Yeah she I mean you just heard her there. First.
She sold her house, not because she wanted to get
out of the neighborhood. She has no money, like, she
needs the money to pay her lawyer fees.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Also her she's doing some those interviews too, because she's
paying all these fees. Yeah, and lawyers are not cheap.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
What could you offer her interview?

Speaker 3 (37:09):
I have an amazing tongue, man, Oh my god, I
do so no like I can speak and I can
convince it to come on. Where was your mind?

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Dad?

Speaker 4 (37:18):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (37:18):
Karen, If you're listening, my apologies es.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
Actually in the Jamie Boy Show with TJ Foreign and Saunty.

Speaker 5 (37:24):
When you need to Know, we got you Three things
you need to Know on Bunton's Number one for hip
Hop and the best Throwbags.

Speaker 2 (37:32):

(37:52):
which came out thirty one years ago.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
And I remember it because it came out when I
was in middle school and I used to love that.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
So the the album and its entirety is just under
fifty minutes five zero sixteen tracks on the album an
insane amount of guest appearances. We got bj the Chicago Kid,
Jelly Roll, Method Man, Fat Money, Tom.

Speaker 3 (38:14):
Petty, Oh Fat Money, I love I Know you do.

Speaker 2 (38:16):
Just name a few. I'm gonna play some songs off
of the album. Let's start with Snoop featuring janey Iiico
here is gorgeous cultures.

Speaker 10 (38:45):
Last time I checked almost the plug to your plug.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
I'm gonna what you respecting go? She did, never set
the lesson, never loose, always winning, won my shuffle.

Speaker 10 (38:53):
Of death, drop the cheese bos plus when she always
comes with a guess she's in the poor the planet,
making the give it to blooms back.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
Up and getting my wrest.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
So actually that's a crazy line right there. I'm the
plugs connect because you think about it, you need something,
You're gonna go to your plug. But where's the plug
getting himself his stuff from snoop the connect?

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Like that hit.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
I feel that because I don't ever think where does
my plug get his stuff from the connect?

Speaker 3 (39:22):
And I'm never the plug?

Speaker 2 (39:23):
So yeah, no, yeah you're not Who's I'm you are
the I am yeah for certain things for you, I
am the plug.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
You are the plug, and I'm the snitch.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Very true. Forn would definitely goes out for that and
another one making a lot of people happy. We got
Snoop fifty n M on guns, eminem on guns and smoke.

Speaker 9 (39:44):
Gotcha gotchaht you dropped you as soon as I spotch it.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Oh why would you let's take a.

Speaker 10 (39:55):
Second, hirpluff a small man, that line that you smell
it in the air, product of line in I missed.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
I come from free styling.

Speaker 10 (40:02):
Nope, but good shock of the tire and nothing more
cakester than my voice.

Speaker 12 (40:05):
So lay see, I remember when I was thirteenth, searching
for how to get my revenge on the world that
hurt me, thirsty for commas.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
The double lon TNS has turned me.

Speaker 11 (40:16):
We're entrepreneur and now must have constantly caught in some
kind of contra percy.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
That was my mantra.

Speaker 11 (40:22):
That Tansha was kind of kind of excending, But why
should that be kind of the kind of people that
were kind of me coming up? So like that syrup,
they can't comma like mama.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Yeah, that's nice. It sounds nice, But there's a part
about it, especially when you hear em it's like an
older guy trying to wrap like I think it's time
as really you got.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
That five because I don't when I hear snoop he's
fifty three, I don't hear that he's fifty three.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Yeah he is different, but am I just feel like
he had his time and I don't know, it's well, it's.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Time for him to move. Remember he said if Donald
Trump was the president, he was going to move. Bye bye.
We're you're headed too, Yeah, where are you going? All Right?
It's been a rough one for Diddy in jail this
week because we got plenty more allegations, three different men
accusing Diddy of drugging and raping them between twenty nineteen
and twenty twenty two. Those are recent years, guys. That's

(41:07):
what's crazy about this one to make.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
I mean, everything he's ever done has been laced to
a party or linked to one, So, I mean, he's
been partying since the last thirty years, so he hasn't
stopped that.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
And for me, every time a new lawsuit comes out,
it's like two thousand and four, nineteen ninety eight. This
is just a couple of years back. They're all anonymous.
They filed civil suits in New York, each victim alleging
that Diddy drugs and sexually assaulted them at three different times.
I mean, the civil suits keep piling up for one
shot comes.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
And they're all completely consistent too.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
Did He's legal team always says the same thing, These
complaints are full of lies. We'll prove them false, and
we will seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed
fictional claims against him.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
Well, we have a video. You still go back to
the video, so you know he's a terrible person.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
The thing it's like, you know, I think you said
it earlier, and it's very true. It's the Cassie video alone.
Put them to jail for forever. He's a horrible person.
But if of the say there's three hundred claims out
right now against did he won two of them are true?
Bye bye?

Speaker 3 (42:08):
And the thing is is nobody out there to defend him,
at least with Jay this past week there have been
people defending him the NFL stick and buy him with Diddy.
People are coming on me like yeah, like I've seen
stuff in the past too, and nobody's come out and
vehemently had his back.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Yeah, well no somebody did. Oh Russell Simmons, Oh yeah, true,
like another one right by? Yeah, we're good, all right.
And lastly, Morgan Wallen is everywhere all over the news today.
You'll probably see him on your TV screen, So let
me hip you to what's happening. He pled guilty after
throwing a chair off of a rooftop bar in April

(42:40):
in Nashville. I don't know if we ever got confirmation
on this, but there was a rumor that he was
mad that his ex girlfriend had moved on or was
getting engaged or something like that, so he threw just
threw a whole chair off of a roof, like you
could kill somebody. What are you doing? He was charged
with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and essentially he's
gonna have to go to a DUI education center and

(43:02):
then also have two years of supervised probation. He'll pay
a three hundred frety dollars fine and court fees, but
once that's completed, the charges will be eligible for dismissal.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
Could you imagine if you threw a chair off and
like actually killed a person.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
He could have like, Sara, what do you what?

Speaker 9 (43:19):
What?

Speaker 2 (43:19):
What really are you doing?

Speaker 3 (43:21):
There was some guy like five years ago did the
same thing in Miami. He got like two years in
jail because like he could have killed a person.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Yeah, I'm again that that rumor about him being upset.
He was clearly upset about something. What it was, I
don't know, but it's never worth that.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
That being said, though, if you're walking down the street
and you can get play a chair and die like
it was your time.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
Yeah, that's like, so what's that horror film where Final Destination?

Speaker 3 (43:47):
That's what that's given me.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
That's three things need to know for a Friday, December thirteenth,
Nellie teaming up with Job Rule Eve Jermaine to preaching Y.
The names for this show are crazy. We're hooking up
with a pair of tickets in right now six one
seven nine three one one nine four five colors twenty five,
good luck and is always maybe odd Just be ever
in your favorite Daddy and the.

Speaker 4 (44:07):
Jam In Morning Show with d J fourn It's saw Take.

Speaker 8 (44:09):
Morning, Coustin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety
four five.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
Hi, everybody, good morning, myself son AJ in the building.
DJ Forurn is in Miami with his son for Rolling Loud.
I can't wait to hear how that trip goes. Because
when he surprised his son with these tickets to Rolling Loud,
the kid, it was the cutest thing ever. He was
almost in tears. I won't say he cried, but he

(44:36):
couldn't believe it. So they're gonna have an amazing dad
son weekend. Be back next week. In the meantime, what
the hell is up with you? How are you? What's
going on? Correct me if I'm wrong, because I always
do this. We haven't had anybody on the show yet.
We have not okay six one seven nine yes, yes, yes,
true true true six one seven nine three one one

(44:56):
nine four five. That is six one seven nine three
one one five. Call me. We're talking about anything you want. Literally,
nothing is off the table. We're gonna kick it off
with the talkback.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Hi.

Speaker 14 (45:08):
Actually, my name is Martin. I'm a big fan of
you guys. I listen to you guys every day when
I was locked up. I just got released December six
You guys are hilarious and send you guys just like
my second family. Listen, you guys are the only thing

(45:31):
that got me.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
Through my scent.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
That's crazy. It's the thirteenth. He got out the sixth.
One of the first things he did was leave us
a talkback. Martin. I don't know what your crime was, sir,
but either way, I hope you learned a lesson and
I hope you are going to stay out of trouble now.

Speaker 3 (45:48):
Martin, that's cool that you can consider us family. But
with a type of family you don't visit though. I
just want to make that clear.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
If we are family, though, we are accepting gifts like
the one from Uncle Barry. This morning, Ash is in Dorchester.
Hi Ash, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 7 (46:03):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (46:03):
How old you babe?

Speaker 7 (46:06):
I'm twenty nine. I only asked about to be thirty.
I'm my first day's January second who right around the corner.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
I only ask that because, like our the name Ashley,
it was you know, popular obviously when because I'm about
to be thirty eight, so you're you're a you're a
younger Ashley. But you know, my mother always tells me
that in nineteen eighty six there were no Ashley's, Like
that was not a common name. Now, all of a sudden,
our name's probably the most second popular name in the world.
Everybody's an Ashley.

Speaker 9 (46:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (46:34):
Well, and I saw it with too ease. Also, so
my parents are on the same wavele wo hey, honey, that's.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
The only thing we got going for us. And I
say that all the time. I'm like, I have a
very common name. The spelling is different. Thank god. Your
middle name is not Elizabeth.

Speaker 7 (46:46):
Yeah, no, it's Jacqueline.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
Okay, imagine So you're a bartender in the city. Where
what place do you bartend at? Let's get some people there.

Speaker 7 (46:58):
I am. I reckon that divine, So at the Irish
Club and Saniel Hall, you don't have to. I mean
everybody knows that.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
Everybody knows ned divines. How insane does it get there
on the weekend because you have like a younger crowd,
I feel like coming in there.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
We do.

Speaker 7 (47:14):
It's very much so like a college crowd. Yeah, college kids,
you know, on the weekends. I always tell people it
turns into the zoo, so all the animals get it out.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Yeah, it's how I've been in there a couple of times.
It gets crazy, and I certainly did go there more
ways in college. But you want to give everybody a
PSA for all the bartenders out there, just reminding people
to tip.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (47:37):
Yeah. So I'm working at Barkrall this Saturday. It's a
Santa Coon Barkral from ten am to two am, and
then Sunday I'm back at ten am to eight pm.
So I'm in it for the long haul this weekend.
So but you know, lately, it's been a struggle sometimes
with tips, and I feel like a lot of people
forget that. You know, we live off of our tips.

(47:57):
We do get a very small hourly, but twenty percent
is very appreciative, you know what I mean. We're all
trying to pay bills. I have two kids myself, so
you know, with Christmas around the corner, everybody has things
that are that are going around. So just tip your bartenders,
tip your server, you know, out of curiosity.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
And I'm genuinely asking, if I were to order two
rum and coats from you, what kind of tip are
we talking? What do you want to what do you
want to see on the bar?

Speaker 9 (48:23):
Well, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 7 (48:24):
I mean Boston, it's expensive in a city, so I
mean two rum and coats. That's probably just like you're
looking at a twenty five dollars tap, right, but that
should be if it's a twenty percent tip, it should
be like a five dollars tip. So my my thing
that I always do right is you take the first number,
so to say it's a twenty five dollars pap, you
want to double the first number. You have a four,

(48:44):
but it's a five, so you round it up, so
it'd be a five dollars tap, if that makes sense.
So whatever the first number is of your bill, you
want to double that number and that usually gives you
a round twenty percent.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Well, I mean, or just for every two drinks five
bucks and okay, because i'll be honest with you, I'm
throwing down two or three right there. So a lesson
has been learned.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (49:06):
No, and a lot of people don't. You know, you
don't always know twenty percent off the top of your head, right,
but you know when when you're behind the bar, when
you're like at the service station, you know exactly exactly
what the percentage is without even having to do the math.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
Ash Well, listen, we all just learned something here. Good
luck out there. Have so much fun this weekend. It's
gonna be nuts.

Speaker 7 (49:27):
Yeah, and anybody listening, come visit me Ned Divine.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
Yeah, ask for Ashley with two ease at Ned Divines.
There it is happy early birthday, babe.

Speaker 3 (49:38):
Expensive No twenty five dollars.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
We're kind of rum and coach like that rum that
are be imported because it's day. It cannot be the captain, No.

Speaker 3 (49:50):
It's probably it's probably Bacardi, right.

Speaker 2 (49:53):
Twenty five. I mean, listen, it's not her fault, but
that's just what. I went out the other night and
the Espressal Martinez were damn you're forty dollars.

Speaker 3 (50:00):
Go to Puerto Rico and pick up the.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Hi, Rachel, good morning.

Speaker 7 (50:07):
Good morning.

Speaker 6 (50:08):
See this is exactly why people pre game before they go.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
Out, you know what, talk about it as for one
would say I'll be him right now, because that's that's crazy.
I'm not kidding you, Rach. The other day, I go
out and I was like, I'll have an espresso martin
my girlfriend I We ordered two espresso martinis and the
guy comes over to put the bill down and we
kind of looked at each other. We're like, oh, well,
we each had twenty dollars cash didn't cover the bill.
Forty dollars didn't cover the two espresso martini that.

Speaker 6 (50:34):
I was like, excuse me, what, Yeah, it's always cheap,
that of drinking.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
It is. So you told Santi you feel like some
coworkers deserve to be punched in the face. I also
agree with you on that what's going on at your place.
It's going off with your place of business.

Speaker 6 (50:51):
I mean, honestly, the whole place is toxic. Normally, I like,
you know, keep my nose out of things. Because you know,
like folks like me working among themselves. I know that
I have a temper and I know my history of
like on my buttons get pushed too far, I might
cush you out, clean, smooth, and then have a good
night's rest. Okay, but I'm trying to like be a

(51:13):
better person, and I feel like sometimes when you're quiet,
people you know, continue to mess with you. So I
feel like there should be like a holiday or at
least like a room where you can at least punch,
you know, I just have a fight club at least workers.

Speaker 2 (51:27):
Yeah, there have been a few people to work in
this building. There are some that still do that, like
just just one little Honestly, I might not even want
to punch, as like a quick slap and keep it moving,
quick slap, quick slap. No, I know it's a holiday season,
and I'm with you, like I'm trying to be better
about certain things too. Santi actually told me today that
I scare people quote in the buildings. Definitely do I

(51:50):
don't know, right, Yeah, maybe that's for the best if
so okay, fine say it. Say you could do it,
and you could actually just go slap this person and
move on. Do you have the person in your head
that you'd want to do it too. Do you have
a number one slot?

Speaker 4 (52:06):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (52:07):
Yeah, I have a few people.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
Oh wow, Okay, well, there you have it. It's never
gonna happen. So unfortunately, we're just gonna have to grin
embarrass me and you.

Speaker 6 (52:18):
And I'm visit Ashley to get more of them and cookes.
I guess yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Know what, if we're drunk, we're always happy. That's a fact. Thanks, Rachel,
we'll go broke.

Speaker 3 (52:25):
But it's fine if you have a history of reacting
a certain way at work. Is the problem the other
people in the co workers? That's just my question. I
didn't want to ask her directly on the phone because
I was afraid of her.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
But like, do you understand I was waiting for you
to say that you're afraid of Yeah, like I saw
you put her name in quotes, so her name's not
really Rachel. So we can say, like, I'm not messing
with Rachel. I want no smoke with Rachel. Rachel and
I we're cool.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
Rachel still also has a job because her boss is
afraid to fire.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
All right, let's go back to the phone. Six one
seven nine three one one nine four, five, seven, nine, three,
one one nine five call us say what's up. We're
talking about you, your life, your world, anything you want.
It's the check in only on JAB ninety four to five. Hi, everybody,
good morning. It's Ashley and the gam In Morning Show.
We're doing the check in right now. We're checking in
on you, your life, your world, talking about anything you want.

(53:16):
Willie is in Lawrence. Hi, Willy, Hello, Hello, good You
know it's funny you bring this up. And I'm also
shocked that we don't get more people hitting us up
to talk about what's going on with jay Z and
Ditty and all of the things. What is your take
on this because it's a lot and there's always something new.

(53:39):
Do you believe all of these lawsuits coming out against
Diddy first and foremost?

Speaker 9 (53:43):
I mean, it's just so much. It's like, at what
point do we say it gotta be true? Yeah, all
I'm saying is if it walk like a duck, clack
like a d it must be a duck duck.

Speaker 2 (53:55):
Where there is more, there is fire.

Speaker 4 (53:58):
They gotta be fired.

Speaker 9 (54:00):
And you have all these people talking about well, no,
I don't know about nothing about a second party. I
went home before the second party happened, So did you
know about the second party or you did it? Like,
that's my whole thing. Everybody's talking about, Oh I went
home before it got freaky. So all you're saying is
you acknowledge that it happened. Why wouldn't you just say, oh,
I went home when the party ended. I didn't see nothing.

Speaker 2 (54:21):
Like that, you know what that you're right?

Speaker 4 (54:23):
Like.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
I feel like a lot of celebrities are using that
line and trying to make it lighthearted in a joke like,
oh no, see, I got out of there before it
got crazy. I went home at seven o'clock before it
got crazy, so you know it got crazy or what?
What do you know?

Speaker 9 (54:38):
That's my whole thing. It's just I'm no conspiracy theorist,
but you know, it wouldn't surprise me if after did
it got locked up. A PR team was running around
telling people to say that to defend themselves.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
Thoughts on.

Speaker 9 (54:49):
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Do you does any part of you think that this
allegation against jay Z is true?

Speaker 9 (54:58):
I mean you've been hearing stuff about him Beyonce, like
you know for a while now. Yeah, but it's just
he goes to all the white parties, He's at the
Diddy parties. He's close friends. The thing with him, he
went on tour with R. Kelly and you know, Nas
even called him out about knowing there was miners in
the studio. So there's a lot against jay Z, you know,

(55:20):
but they gets swept under the rug.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
I'll tell you what, will is how much money? This
is how I'm gonna end this. Call your phone rings,
It's Diddy and he's like, wille you trying to come
through a freak off? How are you answering?

Speaker 9 (55:34):
Oh no, I'm gonna tell I'm gonna tell them a
fine God.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
I like that, Willie, thank you for the call. Yeah, no,
I'm a you know, the freak offs aren't for me.

Speaker 3 (55:44):
Whether Jay did it or not, that I don't, I
don't know. But I can tell you that he was
aware of all stuff that was happening. That I believe.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
And Willy makes a good point. There have we said
this yesterday? There have been a lot of rumors out
there about jay Z. Yeah, yeah, and listen, I think
that not every time you hear a rumor, is it true.
I mean, I report on rumors here because that's my job.
Just in case, it does come to fruition. But there
is one rumor about someone on their show, and you
know that that is factual.

Speaker 3 (56:12):
I don't know which way you're gonna go on this,
so I don't want to laugh yet because I feel
like I could be about me.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Well, it absolutely is. You are a bisexual man dashly
in the.

Speaker 4 (56:21):
Gym in morning show with DJ fourn it's saw TJ
Morning Bustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety
four or five.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
Well, that's gonna do it for us. We're getting out
of here. We have things to do this weekend, none
of which are as cool as Rolling Loud in Miami.

Speaker 3 (56:38):
I disagree. I don't want to go to that. I mean,
it sounds like a fun event if I were like twenty,
but I don't want to have forty four now.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Well even Forren was like he doesn't want to at
his age, which is a mystery. He's like, I'm not
trying to be out there in that mash pit.

Speaker 3 (56:52):
No, Like I don't mosh, Like, what am I gonna do?
Like if I come back here hurt from a mosh pit?

Speaker 2 (56:56):
I don't have a desire to mash either. All Right,
before we get out. You do have a shout out
to you.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
Happy eighteenth birthday, going out Tony the big one night,
celebrate and go buy some scratch tickets.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
What are you doing this weekend?

Speaker 3 (57:07):
Tonight? I'm going to a holiday party at Matt and
Bernice's House of the Police. Yeah, it gets wild there. Yeah,
we do a little swinging. No, it does get insane.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
Come, yeah, you can more than come.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
It does get a lot of fun there because all
the kids are at home.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
More than welcome are the welcome. I myself am going
to hit this little thing in Ducksbury. The Clydesdale horses
are going to be there as well as the big guy, Santa's.
He's leaving the North Pole quick stop in Ducksbury to
say hearted the kiddos and then.

Speaker 4 (57:40):
He'll be back.

Speaker 3 (57:40):
But those aren't his horses though, right.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
No, those are like yeah, no, because he's he doesn't
have horses. He has reindeer.

Speaker 3 (57:46):
Yeah that's what I was gonna say. I'm like, did
he have horses?

Speaker 4 (57:49):
Now?

Speaker 2 (57:49):
Like what is happening?

Speaker 3 (57:50):
No, I'm making sure because I didn't know if he
had those in the North Pole and he brings him up.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
Oh he has this like Rudolph the Red Near when
it was reindeer. He lights the.

Speaker 3 (57:59):
Way, but I didn't know if they just came.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Out for sure and dancer and come in and bloop
it and Donner and Blitzen and something and blitzin. But
do you recall, yeah, those are reindeer eyes. I can
see you can confuse the animals.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
That story bullying all the way through. They bullied him
until they needed him. It was like messed up.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
A lot of the Christmas stories are a little backwards.

Speaker 3 (58:22):
Oh my favorite is the one where no where she
doesn't want to drink but he's pushing.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Hold outside. They had to change the lyrics to that.

Speaker 3 (58:33):
And then she's like, what is in this drink? And
he's like, oh, don't worry.

Speaker 2 (58:36):
He's like I gotta go. I really can't say. He's
like no, no, no, you're staying. Yeah, very diddy is Anyways,
all right, We will be back on Monday. If I
