in the year twenty twenty five, it's a it's a
new generation now.

remember when like two thousand came and everybody thought that
the TVs wouldn't turn off and all that stuff.

It really, it really did.

Yeah we can say it.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
How let's start with you sound who, by the way,
is incredibly tanm so tan that it's making me.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
I've got some white background in the studio. You look
bronze bro ye did I work?
Speaker 1 (01:11):
I went to Mexico and I literally sat on a
beach and buy a pool for like an entire week,
and it was absolutely amazing. Like, yeah, I genuinely love vacation,
but more so than anything, I love shutting down and
just hanging with the family. It was unbelievable. And like, listen,
I'll go to the Dominican Republic ten out of ten
times just because that's where I'm from. But there's something
about Mexico that is just kind of special, especially when
(01:33):
you start comparing pricing. Mexico is a lot cheaper. You
don't get like, where exactly did you go? And we
went to CanCon And I hate saying it like that
because can Coon, but we stayed at an amazing place
in the restaurants here.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
I was blown way, don't worry for I know now
you are.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
We didn't think you were going there for a spurring break.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
It's the public that I don't want you guys to
judge me and be like, oh my god, you want
the cancuon with you like twenty one No, like it
was really good.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
It does.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I get what you're saying because you hear can Kun
and you're.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Like, what beads timeless?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
No? What?
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Also, what I think is amazing. It's so easy to
get to It's a drugt flight from Boston. It's three
and a half and it's easy.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
It's nice. Yeah, it was amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
And the restaurants awesome, but the pricing on the restaurants
are kind of cheap. For Like, we went with another family,
so we were like at times we were like ten
ten to twelve deep right, Wow, dinners were like six
hundred bucks for all of us. I'm like, oh my god,
that's actually pretty good when you start thinking what.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
You Mexico now y is pushing on everybody? Yeah, ud
awesome for what's today? Miss? How are you?
Speaker 4 (02:36):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (02:37):
How are you?
Speaker 5 (02:37):
A couple of weeks, My couple of weeks were cool,
apart from you know what I'm saying some house things
they say by a house would be fun, it's not.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
It's not. There's always something Bills.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
Had to shout out, like damn near ten k in
a week, bro, which is what's going on. Boilers started leaking,
and luckily for me, it's still working, so I could
still get away with it until I kind of figured out,
you know what I mean, what exactly what I want
to do. But yeah, that one was because I'm like, damn.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
If it's leaking, is it leaking carbon monoxide?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
No?
Speaker 4 (03:03):
No, no, no, it's just leaking water.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
And then the good thing that they told me is
that it's not leaking on the flame, so I still
got heat.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
They come in there and they make it look like
you about to die tomorrow, you know what I'm saying.
And this is right before we got our cold spelled
you on the break and they were like, oh, it's
gonna be negative some degrees. You need to get this
fixed asap. Here's a bill for fifteen thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Well, because I honestly don't know how much does it?
Brand new boiler costs, Like how much would it cost you?
Speaker 2 (03:27):
And you have tenants?
Speaker 5 (03:28):
And I got tenants, but luckily for me. And then
another thing that was lucky is that it's my it's
my apartment, it's not my tenants apartment, so thank God
for that, right. But a boiler could cost you anywhere
from five to six g's and then they stack on
another let's say three four thousand for labor, and then
another three four five thousand for parts, so you're looking
at like fifteen thousand. And when it's a winter time,
(03:49):
they gonna bend you over, bro, because they know you
need to eat.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
It's called summertime.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
They might be like, you know, I might do it
for ak or where everything is marked up like it's
like a wedding at that point. You know what I'm saying,
you're just paying up the ass for everything. But luckily,
my my joint is you know, working out fund. We
hit twenty twenty five. We're not playing no games, bro,
But yeah we're good offend. That clubs was straight, you
know what I'm saying, little parties in there. I was
in here every once in a while while y'all on vacant.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Do you have heat?
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:15):
I got it all right, So we're good.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Yeah, we're good for leaking for now.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
It's a leaking, it's chugging over. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I hate heat anyway, so that would be that would
be the problem for me, I will say, because you
and I kind of became homeowners kind of around the
same time. One thing that I've noticed is there it's
not a joke when people say there's always something. I
find myself having days where I don't sit down because
there's always something new to be done. And if you're wondering,
(04:45):
I still live in the guest room. Just if anybody
was curious. The bathroom is still not done, but Tyle
has been laid. The vanity for the sinks is now in.
They say that this week they might only need two
to three days of quote finishing work to build my
makeup vanity and to build out my closet, and then
(05:05):
we could be close to done.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Seeing the tile in there.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Though, I mean, listen, I stared at a tile for
weeks and weeks and weeks.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I put so much effort into that.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
So when that tile got laid and I got to
kind of see my my vision come to life, we're close.
We are very very close, but we're still in the
guest room. We're still in that full size bed. I
took an elbow to the eye last night. It's I
still feel as if I'm renting.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Just to be clear that you were supposed they were
supposed to be finished by when by June.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
To start in June, they're supposed to start the beginning
of July, okay, yeah, And we are in a new
year now.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
And then after that they were supposed to be finished
by like Christmas, right, yes, okay, yeah, But at least
it's close, though, right.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Very close.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
And what I've noticed is over the last couple of weeks,
if they say, hey, we're going to be here at
this time, they are there at this time. We had
a little bit of a delay just over something aesthetic
that both myself and the project manager didn't love. So
now there's going to be more of a delay. But
at this point, what is it matter, Like, I we're
paying the money. I wanted to look the way I
(06:09):
wanted to look. But we had to cancel our trip
up to Santa's Village. We always go there for Lala's birthday,
but we canceled that so cold. They were closing down
rides because it was so cold, and I just I
was like, I can't have the Laila might have been
she might have been able to suck it up, but
I couldn't have the baby out there. I would have
to stand inside the entire time. So we rescheduled our
(06:31):
whole trip. Thank god they were Everybody was really nice
about it. So we rescheduled our trip to August. So
this will be my first time going to Santa's Village store.
I've never been a story Land, but this was my
first time going to Santa's Village in the heat.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
And to me personally, I think it's it's better because
you're able to do a lot a lot more.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Well, it's warm, so that's definitely going to change the game.
We go to Santa's village every year in December because
she has a December birthday, which is like trash. Her
bird is on the eighteenth, so it's it's always nice
to be like, we're going away for your birthday.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
But I had some people shut it down go up
there around that time, and they weren't like snowsuits. It
was freezing up there was that bad, So like you'd
made the right time, I.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Know, And did anybody if any of you guys get
sick and our whole house was sick, I was the
only one who didn't Like everybody everybody is sick.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
I still got this little like, I don't know what
it is. It's just flam coming out of my throat,
which is kind of crazy, and my son up and
it's nasty.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
But other than that, I'm fine, Okay, I know that
what that everybody has that right now.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
It's probably just easier if you swallow it.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
It's not good for you, though, Flumpy, you know what
I'm saying. And it feels like.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
This is what when I drove here. When I drove here,
I was thinking for myself. I don't want to be here.
I don't want to go I don't want to go there.
