Monday at JAM thirteen. Quick quick, quick turnaround for the Patriots.
We got ourselves a head coach, three time Super Bowl champ,
eight year starter at linebacker. We are welcoming back to

(00:27):
Foxboro Mike Vrabel with a multi year deal.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
With the Patriots.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
We don't know exactly how long, but we know that
it's longer than a season.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
I feel like this was a plan from day one.
Was here to like hold the spot for him.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
I know.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
And it's not like my sacrifice was doing anything crazy.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
He was.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
He was helping out the Browns like not even It
wasn't a head coach roll or a coach roll. He
was just word do I want.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
To say an advisor? That's exactly what he was.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Yeah, I mean, I guess I'm happy. I'm excited at
the same time, Like it all comes down the wins, right,
If the Patriots win, then we're all happy.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
A couple things here.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
So he used to coach with the Tennessee Titans had
like their best record for a head coach. A lot
of people were shocked at him being fired because he
had a lot of good seasons and then only two
that were kind of iffy. But after digging in on
him a little bit more this morning, it seems like
there was just a little bit of bad blood with
the front office. He wanted to be the guy in

(01:28):
charge of making the roster. There was some pushback there,
and so it just wasn't the place.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
For him, all right, Like a leader not liked.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yes, And speaking of him being a leader.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Former Tennessee Titan player Taylor the one good looking man.
I believe he's one of the hosts from the Bustin
with the Boys podcast. He used to play for the
Titans and obviously played under Mike Rabel, and he had
a little PSA warnings slash congratulatory message for the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Good morning boys something Patriots fans, you have a lot
to be excited about. Got Mike Rabel in the building.
Culture is gonna be incredible. You guys are gonna win games.
Those tough, you know, one score games, You're gonna win them.
That's how Mike Rabel works. That guy is gonna have
his team knowing the ins and outs. Now, if you're
a player, come here.

Speaker 6 (02:14):
You need to keep your bet onness football. Okay, you
need to understand that it is about to be really
hard for a little bit, and it's gonna be okay,
but just know you're about to go in hell for
a little bit. You're gonna sitting there in the locker room.
You're getting small groups.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Who the bus this guy was he talking to us
like this?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Who needs to think?

Speaker 6 (02:28):
He is?

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Boys, I'm telling you it's gonna work out, but keep
your butt hole tight.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
To say, know everybody's name.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
He's think if you're a rookie, know the janitor's name,
because this man will call you out.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
He said. It's gonna get nasty, but you're gonna win games.
He said.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
The bottom line is the man will mention a thousand
times how many Super Bowls he's won. He will tell
you how long he's played and that he knows better
and if you follow his lead, you will win.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
It's clear. It's also the NFL. This is what it's
supposed to be. Hold them to a high standards.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
The best of the best.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, it's gonna be an exciting day in Foxbor we
will officially welcome Mike Rabel back. It's gonna happen with
Robert Kraft at noon today.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
I feel bad for it was like, I feel bad.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Like today's tough the plan. Yeah, it's honestly like Drod
never happened. That's how hype everybody is about Mike Rabel.
All right, quickly, Saturday Night Live is gonna kick off.
Dave Chappelle is going to be hosting this coming Saturday
with a special musical guest, Glorilla.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
It is a big time honor to be on Saturday
Night Live.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
So if you're a Gloilla, you're young, you're upcoming to
already get that little nod that's big.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
And it's promo, right, has a way to to to
kind of push your album or your sales or whatever
and kind of be seen by a lot of other p.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I was gonna say, let's just go ahead and say
those that watch Saturday Night Live, there will be a
few that are like who is she?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Who is Glorilla?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
But it's almost a stamp of approval though.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I think so too.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yeah, yeah, for like who who is? Organically what everybody's
talking about right now? Who's the person? All right?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And lastly, let's go to California.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Just an update there, twenty four people are dead as
the fires rage on and SoCal. Over one hundred and
fifty thousand people under evacuation warnings.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
One hundred and fifty thousand.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
You guys, we're talking thousands and thousands of structures just gone. Obviously,
we know firefighters are continuing to try to contain multiple
different fires over thirty nine thousand acres a place. Yeah,
I can tell you the biggest fires, the Palisades and
the Eaten fires, are both under thirty percent containment. I

(04:44):
know that doesn't sound great, but that's better than me
saying that there's zero containment. Multiple stories over the weekend,
it's you can't escape it, right, because you're you're seeing
different stories about people. One guy I saw he was
gone during the fire. So say he was on a
work trip or something. He ran and returned back to

(05:04):
his house as soon as he landed because his dog
was there. Did you guys see this video He runs
up to the gate of his home. I could cry
and say that the dog sprints down the hill, comes
out of the rubble like this little like flof and
survived five days in the rubble by itself.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Oh dude, grown man falling crying, so happy to see
his dog.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
The devastation there is, I mean, it's I think that
unless you're in it, it's probably hard to explain it.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
But just looking at it, I've never seen anything like it.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
No, and again, doesn't sound like a lot. Did you
know how many acos? She said, how many?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Thirty nine thousand.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
That's that's And to know that some of these fires
may or may not have been started on purpose.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I'm gonna be honest with you guys.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I don't like I don't I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
I'm not, but I am starting to feel like there
is a very solid chance that all of the if.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
You see the videos that are out there, it seems
like a lot of them were started by piece.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Seems like this was planned.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
There's a lot of content out there.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yeah, I know, people have this back and forth narrative
online about celebrities and a lot of these you know,
developments and where the fire started were affluent neighborhoods, and
you know, say what you will, but at the end
of the day, they're people, and people are losing their homes.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
This is a clip of Jennifer Garner. Jennifer Garner was.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Fortunate enough that her home was okay, but a lot
of her friends lost their places, and she even had
a friend lose her life.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I could just write out a list of one hundred
friends who lost their homes. It's just like, I feel
almost guilty walking through my house, just you know, what
can I do? How can I help? What can I
what can I offer? What do I have to offer
with these these hands in these walls and the safety
that I that I had.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
When they asked her about the friend that she lost,
she she immediately started crying and she's like, listen, I
you know, this is something that my church and I
are still kind of trying to comprehend. But yes, I
lost a friend who couldn't get out of the fire
quick enough. There are twenty four people dead. I read
a story about a mother and son. Son was at
the house trying to help mom. He told mom to
get out, wanted to get up on the roof to

(07:11):
try to save mom's house, and also did not get.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Out on time. Jesus, and it's up to twenty four.
I feel like that's gonna double.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Yeah, I think it is too. But yeah, I'll keep
you guys posted. But you know, like you said, it's
on thirty percent containment. I know that doesn't sound great,
but that is better than me this morning saying zero.
That's I mean literally all we can say.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
It's still scared to think that they still have the
battle seventy percent of that.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
It's wild and from what I'm reading, the.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Winds one's gonna be worse.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
That gonna be worse.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
