four and it's SAW one and Cousin's number one for
hip hop jam In ninety four five.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hi, everybody, good morning. It's Tuesday. That's you know, a
little eh. But other than that, we're on the app
and op better than Monday, A right true. Listen, we're
checking in, Onya. What's up? How are you? What's going on?
Tell us a story, ask us a question, comment on
the show thus far? Just say what up? Anything you want?
Six one seven nine three one five six one seven
(00:33):
nine three one one five. Vaness, this could go one
of two ways. You're on the way to somewhere very specific.
Are we in like high spirits or are we in
low spirits? I am in high spirits, okay, Because Vanessa's
on her way to court for a divorce pre trial.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
That means she asked the divorce.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Ah.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Okay, wow, Yes I did.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
I did.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
And I usually go into this nervous and anxious, but
today I'm just ready to accept whatever happened and be
positive and just be grateful for what I do have
and not focus on the negative.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
It's so easy to focus on the negative and to
change the narrative and try to reframe. I am trying
to do this myself with certain things in my life,
and it's so, so, so hard. So the fact that
you're able to do that is amazing and not as
easy as people make it out to be. You know,
I'm going to ask why.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
I just wasn't happy. I was really in a marriage
because of society and trying to do the right thing
and making it look like I had the perfect life.
But I was dying inside and I needed to get
out of that rut and make the change and really
live authentically. And that's why.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Are you were you guys married?
Speaker 4 (02:03):
We were together for about eight years, married for I
believed three.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Damn are you getting pushed back?
Speaker 6 (02:11):
Does he want this to Yes, I've been getting pushed back,
But at the end of the day, I just need
to keep fighting for what I believe in and what
I feel is right, and yeah, go from there.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Well, listen, you sound like you made the right decision.
We've had people called before going through divorces and it's
not always like this. So I'm happy that this is
the right decision for you and it'll work out in
the end. Might not be easy because I've heard these
court cases, especially with divorce, can get a little ugly.
But fingers crossed.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
I've been this is year four now, so yeah, it's
been a while. What I've been in the cross for
a while. Yes, I filed in twenty twenty one.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Yeah, it's been a long process. But hey, George and
no not George, Brad Putt and Angeline that took eight
years to get divorced, so you know what.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
That's true. That's different. Yeah, what what's what has the
big hold up? Honestly, if you had to choose one.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Thing, property pretty much the happy Do you have kids?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Beautiful okay, fun loving kids, yeah, yes.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Well as the custody part, have you guys kind of
had that figured out?
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yeah, I mean I I we're not going to stop
one another from seeing seeing you know, Noah, my son,
I have full custody.
Speaker 6 (03:35):
He lives with me.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
But you know, Dad is doing his part. He's in
his life and it is what it is.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
All right. Well, listen, best of luck in court today.
I hope it doesn't take as long as it did
for Brad and Angie for you.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
Heck no, yeah, good luck.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Last couple of times talk about divorce. People are happy,
but that's a foreign happy.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
It's so tough though. I would have the toughest time
seeing somebody else may make my wife happy. And that's
why I try to be on the other side. When
you're the one who wants to get away from there,
it's it's a relief. It's a lot of weight off
your shoulders.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
All right, do either of you watch land Man? Yes, okay,
was already caught up, all right, But I can at
least say this part because the bottom line for me
is what I don't like about land Man is the
woman's husband died and she has a new boyfriend in
forty eight hours. And I'm not liking this narrative. They're
trying to make me feel like it's okay. As the
second your your your partner dies, you can move on.
(04:31):
No no, no, let me die and be up there
seeing this man.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Move on and striking hell hot, no watch nobody's happy.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Desiree is in Medford.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Hi, Desiree, Hi Han, how are you this morning?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I'm good? Foreign tells me that last year was absolutely
insane for you.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
It was what happened.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
I just my daughter sofer swim EPILEPSI. She got real sick.
I got sent up here in the process, my house
burnt down, I lost both my parents and going through
a bad divorce, single mom and just me, my poor girls,
and you guys keep it going every morning.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Oh okay, you're gonna make me get emotional. It is.
If you only said one of those things happen, I
would have been like, that was a hell hellish year
for you. Uh, that was a like a legit laundry
list of things that you went through. I don't even
know how you're able to still keep a smile on
your face, but you should be very hard.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
I'm in a shelter and I just make the best
of every day for my poor girl.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
You're gonna make me cry. Well, you're listen. You're doing
the best you can and that's that's all you can do.
You know. I always say this when people call in
they have a lot going on. When you got kids, like,
there's just there's there's a way that you can put
the blinders onto everything else and just concentrate on them.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yeah, do you want me to make front of Santi?
So we got a laugh for like, where are we at?
What do you think? I have literally never hear it
a shelter. You probably have seen some things. I've never
seen yellower teeth in my life. Okay, it's the best thing.
Oh my god, I'm like that, I can't.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
I can't.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
And she told me how, and she told me how
how that died.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
I'm not going to say it, but because she didn't
say it, but yeah, it's it's not good.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
She's going through a lot. Damn well there because you
know that you can't just do that to me, not
that yellow. It's crazy. I'm yeah, like I worry. Yeah, yeah,
someone's like corner corner of the cop or just a
rack of Sanzi's teeth. I'm not sure the same
