Speaker 1 (00:00):
Especially and the Jamine Morning Show with DJ Foreign and
Saunty When.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
You need to know, No, we got you three things
you need to Know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbacks you haven't any more five Friday.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
January thirty first, and I'm sure you've all seen it
by now. I really really wish there was some sort
of miracle that I was going to be able to
report this morning. But all sixty four passengers on that
plane from which Tauk, Kansas to DCA, and the three
men in the helicopter have all died. Obviously overnight and

(00:37):
throughout the day yesterday, that rescue mission was in full force.
More than forty bodies were recovered by the end of
the day on Thursday. I can tell you that both
flight recorders have been recovered good, So I do think
we're going to learn a lot some other just small
tidbits of information we're getting. The soldiers inside of the

(00:58):
helicopter were in fact wearing night vision goggles, which is
not strange to them. They were wearing them at the
time of the accident, but those goggles do not block
field of vision, and via our discussion yesterday, all three
pilots experienced.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
But clearly something still something the something.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Tons of different theories.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
The one that I keep lending to and the one
that sticks out the most to me is every time
I watch.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
That video, you see the flight.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Landing, obviously when there's the crash with the helicopter, but
you also see another plane taking off. And if in
fact it is true that through air traffic control they
said we see the plane, you gotta believe they were
talking about the one taking off, yes.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
In the in the tower. They thought the one that
was landing right.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
In the tower, they thought that they saw.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
The one, but instead they were talking about that's the
theory that.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Makes the But eis a way. Man. You keep watching
the video and I've seen like the ones like and
people are just horrified. I can't even imagine what it
was like to look up and see the whole thing happen.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
And you were also telling me that air traffic control
was understaffed.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, and that's another thing I saw. I mean, I
don't know, but I saw something else that the guy
that was in there left early. They were understaffed. With
the job that that guy was doing, it takes two
people to do that, Like who the hell knows, but
clearly something happened that wasn't supposed to.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
There's just so many, so many different things, and you know,
obviously this is just so so devastating and so heartbreaking.
And now there's connections to here to Boston. We found
out that six people from the Skating Club of Boston
located in Norwood, lost their life on that plane. Nancy Carrigan,

(02:55):
who's a local former Olympian figure skater. Everybody knows who
Nancy Carrigan is, was so distraught and devastated by this
and how close it was to her and these are
her friends. She just got in her car and went
to the skating club.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
We are strong, and I guess it's how we respond
to it.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
And so my response is to be with people like
care ABOUTE and I love and need.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I needed support. So that's why I'm here.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
I literally choked me up. She literally just got in
her car. She's like, I just needed to be around people.
She said something at the very end, it like chokes
me up. But she and it's because it's so true.
You know, I don't know anything about figure skating, but
I do know that I've watched it on the Olympics,
and I've seen falls, but they always bounce back.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
They always get up. And she left there saying when
figure skaters fall, they always get back up.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
As I get more information on this, I will keep
you posted, just so you know. This was the deadliest
US air disaster in almost a quarter century.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Quarter century?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Crazy?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
All right, let's try to keep it a little bit
light for you. Ben Affleck is back as the das
the dun King. No so, just as a reminder, the
very famous dun King's commercial from the Super Bowl SI
mentioned this just last year.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
For do you remember j Lo was in this thing.
I don't think you should do this.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Last year she came to my work. Now I gotta
show her what I can.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
He's here the track? What a brook were you consideration?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
The Boston massacre?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
The dumb Keys touchdown?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Tom on the Keys play a coach? Got it?

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I'm hoping and needed no introduction.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Car.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
It's really hard to be your friend, man.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
You said you do this for me?

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Don't great?

Speaker 1 (04:57):
It was good?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
How do you like them donuts?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I'm so sorry I had to see it, but I
forgive you.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Lay us on the track? Are we gonna be on
the album.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
We talked about this, Let's go.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
You're blinded by them pen stripes, Ruth.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Tom, you can say you remember what I told you?

Speaker 5 (05:18):
I do anything for you?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
This is anything chill. They naming a drink as.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
I mean, it's like literally a year ago. They're done there.
There's all this trauma. But here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
He was out in La putting on the jacket again,
carrying a Duncan's cup. So everyone's like, it's got it.
They got to but how do they bring back the
dun Kings and she's not it? Do they maybe try
to performed Kings?

Speaker 6 (05:40):
Was him and was him and mad Tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
That's the important part the decoration there.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
But it was the link of I know, but you
know what I mean. It was like, honey, we talked
about this.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
It's crazy that he had her in there because he
knows the rules him out of everybody like, don't.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Include her do the Yeah, well listen, I'm sure it
was Duncan's idea.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Would you for ten mil?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
I would you want her kids?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Who is her ex husband?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
He can be in it too.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Ten There's no like they have to have filmed this
months ago, right, so he must have been carrying it
for something else, for like a picture.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Right, gotta be And by the way, we all know
how Ben is with the paparazzi heat. By the way,
did you see the photo of him?

Speaker 1 (06:27):
He looks gone, he does.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
He gaunt, His face is sunken, and his hair is
going on.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
I mean, i'd still obviously like leave my family for him,
but I'm just something because he's not eating.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Divorce.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
I know I'm for him. All right.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
We have some big news from a Hall of Famer
Dwayne Wade. Never forget Dwayne's statue Crazy time Dwayne Wade.
That was yeah, seriously, yeah, you would walk right past
it and be like, I've never met this man. That
was the last time we talked about him. But he
made a major reveal on a podcast on Thursday that

(07:06):
he had a cancerous tumor removed from his kidney.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Man, why is my piss coming out slow? Why is
my stream ain't powerful?

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Why is it a little weak?

Speaker 5 (07:16):
Get Like, I'm asking these questions because now my father
has went through something, and now I know that if
the man who birthed me, brought me here is going
through this, it's possibly that I may go through. Because
I did the full body scan. They were able to
see my entire body, my entire inside, and they were
able to see something that was on my kidney, on
my right kidney when I went in, then go in
for my kidneys, and so what I had on my

(07:39):
kidney was assist a tumor. I get to see everything.
I asked, all the questions. I go through multiple doctors.
I send it to multiple doctors. I made a decision
to have surgery. I had surgery on December eighteenth, twenty
twenty three, to find out, obviously at forty one years old,
pretty healthy guy, that I did have cancer. Thank God
that I did do the surgery right because the tumor

(08:00):
was cancerous.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
He went on to say, as a man, you never
want your family to see you week. You don't want
to be perceived as week. You don't want to be
seen in your weakest moments. But I had to, He said,
I saw everybody show up for me and be there
for me. And in that process and my weakness, I've
found strength in my family and my friends and in
my group.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Well, I guess the good thing is is that you
can live with one.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
So you know what I hear from that is like
get out there, get your checkouts.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
To say that too, especially a lot of guys don't
do this. Go get your physicals done, Go get anything
checked up. Man, you never know what's going on with
your body.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Yeah, get your blood work, get your you know, get everything.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Thank god.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Son, he's not speaking because we did the next hour.
Don't even get in my mind. I don't even get
this man. And he's like, do a scan of the
hor something.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Feeling those same things that he was feeling.
