I'm concentrated on this because at the end of the day,

One of the biggest guys in the West Coast when
it comes against the rap to hear gangster talk like
this and just open up about this. He talks about
how he was fourteen, the woman was thirty would pick
him up from school and do things.

Mom must have knew him if she had that pick
up seven I.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Was dating, he talked about it. He was dating the
woman's niece, So he had to break it off with
a niece at some point because he was messing with
the auntie. Now at fourteen, he was kind of like, yo,
I'm cool, you know what I mean? He got taken
advantage of by these older women. But he also talks
about how that completely messed up his life. That's why
he can't keep a relationship. That's why he can't he

can't maneuver in certain ways because ever since then he
came to a realization that, yo, this is wrong. Now again,
until he made this song just recently, his mom knew
nothing of this, so when she heard the song for
the first time, and it's kind of crazy because again,
black and brown people in these communities, they don't talk
about this a lot. So hopefully this kind of gives
people these silent victims to come forward and talk about it.

If they see someone like Ygi opening up, who's supposed
to be this hardcore guy talking about AO back when
I was fourteen, this is what happened to me, and
my life's been messed up ever since. And it happens
to a lot of guys, and you know, people just
don't think that it happens to fellas as much. So
it's good. I love that Wygi was this vulnerable to
put out a song like this and so in your
face and be like heyo, it's good to talk about

these things. So if you know somebody would be feeling
like something's ever happened to you, let this guy be
the delight for you to be able to speak up.

Looking at those two charges she tried to get dismissed.
We found it that the First Circuit Court of Appeals
basically sided with the federal judge earlier this month.

We know that, and she's gonna be.

It's going to be trial one all over again. Okay,
like there was no double jeopardy. She's looking at these
these same charges. The First Circuit Corps basically said, listen,
we assume that the jury unanimously voted in private that
the prosecution had failed to prove its case on counts
one and two. The jury did not act on that view,
essentially saying we're running it back and going back to

trial again and doing all of this again with this documentary,
the body and the snow leading up to it. It
hasn't been the best look for Karen. But maybe the people,
the Free Karen Read.

People are like, what are you talking about? We think
it's great.

jury from trial one on their team.

Now, I think it's a power move. Some people are like,
I don't really get it.
