We were just crying laughing because you know, I feel
like these videos go viral, but when people post interactions
between themselves on their ring camera and someone that's approached
their home. Now a lot of times they're not even
at the residence when this happens, but they get the alert, like,
you know, somebody pressed my ring doorbell or whatever, and
you can you can just access the ring cameras.

Feigns a video yesterday, girl looked like she was what

My thought was like he was probably at home goods,
you know, like the crib.

I'm chilling, I'm watching I think I was watching a
Carrot Read update on YouTube.

All of a sudden, I hear my ring camera go off.
Nobody comes to my house.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
So I'm like, it is weird when someone just rolls
to your house without any By the way, didn't used
to be back in the day. If I hear a ring,
like somebody knocks on my door or something, I'm right away.

I'm getting raped yes, like I'm dead. They're killing me.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
It's not it's problematic, Like yeah.

So I look at my camera and I see two
people standing on my porch and they start talking to
me about my cat. They're like, oh there first they go, oh,
we just want to let you know the windows open
and I park one of my cars outside, right, so
I'm thinking, oh, did I leave my window outside and
yesterday with kind of rainy, and she's like, and there's
a cat on the roof. I'm thinking a cat on
the roof of the car. And then I realized, oh,
because I left my window open and I let snow

out when it's nice and warm for her to go
sit on the on the roof so she can survey
her kingdom, you.

Know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (01:59):
And she's like, yeah, you know, there's a cat on
the roof, and we just wanted to make sure that
it was intentional, that you meant for that cat to
be there, and everything is okay.

I'm like, yes, everything is fine.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
As I'm thinking about this, I've never seen a cat on.

The roof ever, I.

I tell her, YO, come right back in, she listens right.
So I let her have the freedom of staying on
the roof if I know she can't jump off, she's
not gonna get god by dogs or anybody walking around.

I mean she could, but she's too scary, my cat,

So I let her go enjoy that bask in the sun,
scratch her back on the rooftop, and then right back
into the crib she comes.

She must have been perched just looking out.

So you're driving by the crib or walking by the crib,
I mean if you happen to look up, you will
see it, because it's right. It's only on the second

Of the white cat because you're on the second level.

Imagine I had a porch, but instead of a porch
on the second floor, it's just a roof and it's
a flat roof.

And she's right there. I let her go. She goes
to the edge, she goes to the other edge.

She lay down in the sun, and then she'll come
right back in and she's cool.

This woman had concern.

She was like, I was ready to I thought people
were gonna come to my daughter. The way she was talking,
she was probably about to call the fire department.

Be like there's a there's a cat stuck on the road.
Oh yeah, I'm like, no, my cat's good. Thank you man.

What's funny is you sent that video?

And then of course your friend over here with the
seconds had zoomed in on like her tattoos.

Her did have like a weird in the video. She said,
we were walking by. I thought I thought she did.

I really did. But then after some detective work, she
got in a car.

She said, she said, we live right down the street
and we when we saw the open window and there's
a cat outside, and we just wanted to make sure.
I thought she was walking too, because again, who's and
then she went across the street, bro and jumped in
a car.

The other part, the guy was okay, Hi, I'm so sorry.

I just we were on our way home.

We live right down the street, and I noticed that
there was a window open and there's a cat on
the roof, and I just wanted to make sure that
you guys, like then for your pet to be out
there and just make sure that he's okay.

She seemed very concerned for the cat, though she was
she was your pet.

part to me, which means that you drove by, saw
the cat, busted a U turn and came and parked
outside my house and rang the doorbell again. I don't
know if I should be like she's trying to slight
me or is she trying to be a good neighbor.

I think it sounds like she was concerned for the cat.

I mean she is. She is a worshiper because cat
was given devil.

Gunna in the gym, like lifting weights and doing all that.
So that's why sometimes I'm like, is he trying?

he met a fan and like he had this you know,
the movie smile. He had this like like weird like
just rin yeah, just teeth all shown looking at the fan.

just blinking, like smiling this weird smile.

Yeah, I mean, like like anything else. That's what so
him is that he was on signing. But again, but
then I'm looking at it, I'm like, maybe he's just
trolling because he knows he's on camera.

because you guys had this plan for weeks. This is
how sadly dullible I am.

so we had been setting this up in the sense
of like, I've been making fun of him about his
girlfriend for a week, setting out laying the foundation, and
each day he got more and more upset with it.
Finally it's April first, and we're in the studio and
a separate one and the mics are recording, and then
I'm like again teasing his girl, teasing his girlfriend, making

fun of him for it, and then he just absolutely snapped.
But we had the whole thing set up that he
was gonna attack me a certain way, and I was
gonna come back at him, like in a certain way.
So from the outside in, it looked like it was
just a scuffle, but it was very safe, but it
looked like intense. So finally he snapped at me and
we got into a fight right in front of Ashley,
and Ashley was very, very very scared. You can hear

It had to have been ten years before that, in
like two thousand and No, it was like two thousand
and six. It was April Fools and I had this
idea of floating a body up into the sky.

Now, mathematically imagine I had this idea of floating a
body in the sky.

So mathematically it's impossible to have helium lift the body
up like that because it's just too much weight. So
I was like, I'm gonna make a body out of
trash bags and fill it with balloons, so the whole
thing is just helium. So I went down to the
square one mall right off of Root one, and I
let the body up, but it was tether to.

Like like saying the body, but it was like a
hundred balloons.

So from the distance all you could see was a
fake body with a ton of balloons.

But I made it. Called into the radio station like
I'm floating, and I was like, I'm up so high,
I'm so afraid.

I'm scared of heights, Like I like I can see Boston,
there are planes passing. We started getting phone calls and
people say, oh my god, I'm on the highway.

I don't think this was real, but I see him
up in the sky.

I had been like fighting the case the whole time,
Like I had been like emotions and I'd beget a
lot of denials, but I was telling I'm like, listen,
I'm not doing I'm not doing twenty five years. So

however long it's going to be, I believe it's going
to be soon, but it's not going to be that.
And she like got behind me, right, and you know,
believed in me. And that's what That's what led me
to contact you guys, because I was listening last week
and y'all was speaking to somebody who said that they
had a guy in jail and that he sent your
money and he does all this stuff, and you guys
were like, why did you send up money? And I

(01:08:36):
just wanted to call you and tell you, like, yeah,
there's people in jail that aren't good people, but then
you have people in jail that are survivors, right, that
go in there and make a way. Like I used
to have like a rat business, and I would make
like three hundred dollars a weekend, right, So you add that,
you know you save it, right, that's twelve hundred dollars
a month, and you know you have somebody's significant other
the outside, you're able to do whatever. Hey, you need this.

I help my wife buy a car. I helped to
share four children, right, I helped the she had just
come out of a divorce. I helped to guid it.
Like I was helping her, you know.

So it was like that's crazy. Yeah, and that's amazing.
I mean, but like you're Melow, you're like a one
of one unless you know, do you know somebody right
now that's locked up, that's that has the same type
of spirit that you do. Because I know a single
person and at this point, yeah, I mean I don't tell.

I know guys that my friends that came home, all
my friends owned business. I own my own business up here.
All my friends that I that I you know, I'm
cool with, they all own their own businesses. We all home,
We all own our own businesses. And we took, you know,
the the bad circumstance and made it a good thing.

Well, Mello, listen, there's a people, a lot of people
that are locked up.

Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
Listen to the show, and if they're listening right now,
they're thinking, wow, you know that could be me if
I just stay on the street and narrow.

What's your advice for them? Because obviously not everyone's gonna
go on tag and find love. That's not reality for
a lot of people. But what would your advice be
to them?

Speaker 5 (01:10:11):
My advice would be like, work on yourself, because that's
what I did, right I went to prison. I worked
on myself. I wrote like thirteen books. Right, I went
to work every day. So that way, when I came home,
just outside of the tag, I was ready to embrace
a relationship because you know, I went, I was in
prison for seventeen years. I came home to a wife
with four kids, four girls at that so that was

a challenge within itself. So if I hadn't been working
on myself, I wouldn't had the patience. I wouldn't had
the teaching skills, to talking skills, you know, just the
skills to just be able to adapt. Because now you're
going from when I went to jail, it was next
door I came home. They had iPhones that could do everything.

You know, what did freedom taste like I've seen them?

Was rough?

Speaker 5 (01:10:53):
Because yeah, because like the girl I called up, Natalie,
I think her name was the groom and lady. I'm
from New York, so my wife is from she grew
up in Wooburg. So I came home in Massachusetts, and
I was just like I didn't know anybody. All my
family's in New York. I like literally started over and
like her, my wife was living with her mother. So

I came home, lived in my wife's house with her
mother and her four kids, and then our sister with
her one kids. So it was like nine of us
shared in the bathroom, and I worked Amazon, Door Dash,
Instacart seven days a week. And we got our own
house and with them two years later, and then I
have my own company I want to move with.
