Dashy and the jam In Morning Show with d J
four and It's Sauty Morning, Bustin's number one for hip
hop jam In ninety four or five.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Hight Doll's Good Morning Thursday, one step Closer to the
Weekend six one seven, nine three one four five per
that per that comments. We had a conversation earlier where
I was taking I read this article that like created
such real estate in my brain, which I'm not usually
like this with certain things.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
I can get obsessive, but.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
I you know, this article basically said live every day
like it's Saturday.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
How honey, like how?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
But it messed me up because I'm like, no, I
I am different on a Saturday. I'm lighter, I get
three hours extra sleep. It's it's different. I don't have
the same type of responsibilities.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
We might go to the zoo, I don't know. It's Saturday,
and for me the world is your oyster on a Saturday.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
And for me, Saturday is sex night.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
So obviously it's different from the run schedule.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Sex we forgot.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
But enough about us six one seven nine three one
one four five six one seven nine three one one
nine four five. It's about you, your life, your world,
you call us talking about anything you want. I set
that up, Danny, because you also are on our same
type of schedule.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
What's yours? What time are you up in the morning, Danny?
Speaker 5 (01:25):
I know.
Speaker 6 (01:27):
People.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Hi, what's your schedule? What time are you up in
the morning?
Speaker 6 (01:32):
I get up at three three to be at work
for like three thirty three forty five.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
So we're at work right now. What time do we
work until?
Speaker 6 (01:42):
Huh? That's the best thing. It depends. It varies all
the day. Is I do delivery? So it could be
like ten thirty, eleven thirty, twelve thirty, Yes, it was
twelve thirty. It varies bad white days and I got
a little bit heavier days. Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
So you we are twinsies, like we are pretty much
on the exact same schedule as you talk to me about,
like your bedtime.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
My bedtime, I'm very I'm very picky with that. I
don't like to get up there in the morning and
be tired. So my latest will be nine, nine o'clock
if that's me. There's something going on, maybe nine thirty
if I'm pushing it.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Bar Dad, are you off? Are you off Saturday? Sunday?
Speaker 6 (02:27):
Oh? Yes, that's best far. Yeah, Saturday, Sunday off and
Fridays is usually my life day. So I get out
eleven o'clock time Thirday on a Friday. That's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Do you did you hear my conversation earlier? Like do
you listen to us that earlier?
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Did you kind of just put us on? I?
Speaker 1 (02:45):
I do.
Speaker 6 (02:45):
As soon as I get in the car, I put it,
put you guys on, and then til I get to
Duncan get my call.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
We're part of the sketch. I love that.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Well. I guess my thing to you is like you
know this article said live every day like it's a
Saturday on our schedule.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
You can't. We can't like Tuesday is a Tuesday for us,
you know.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Yeah, especially when we get up so early, like it's
like everybody's sleeping when we get up with it.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
I know, I know, hilarious question for you? Do you
is the most common question you get?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
How do you do it? How do you do it
with the schedule? Because I mean that's.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
Yeah, yeah, everybody does. My son. I brought my son
into work with me once he wanted to make some
extra money for something that he wanted to buy, and
I'm like, you got to get up for three and
we got to be there for like four o'clock. So okay.
He did it for like a day or two, and
then after that he was like, Dad, I don't understand
how how do you do it that? How do you
(03:41):
how do you get up at that time? Then we did.
It's I gotta do it. If you want to get
fed and Bill got to get paid, I have to
get up.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
No, that's a fact, Danny.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Well listen, we're doing it with you. You know, you
can always call us if you get but you can't
get sleepy. You're driving, so careful. Oh wait, my last
question today, seriously, you want to just be back about
how many coffees a day do you have?
Speaker 6 (04:06):
I try to keep it to like one. I like
a medium vanilla latte or sugars and that's it. And
then maybe me I'll try a red Bull depending on
the day. I mean, that's two things I mess with.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
I only drink.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
I know they're not good for you.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Well, I only drink them with vodka, So I don't
like to drink they don't they don't have the same taste,
but they don't have it in there. So all right, Dan, Well,
sometimes I like to have a little afternoon cup, like
just a small try to drink it black. Don't have
the sugar too, but maybe you know, around one or
two o'clock, just to get you through to the to
the nine o'clock bedtime.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
Yeah, my crash. I crashed around that time too, between
two and three o'clock. I have to take a nap.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
That's a tough thing.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
And sometimes I got things to do and I can't
take the not far. I feel like, take a twenty
minute nif a little powering up, and then just get
the rest of the daytime I get.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Man, all right, well, thanks for the call, Danny. Stay strong.
Speaker 6 (05:03):
That's another thing. I go home after home and I know,
trust me, my wife and my son.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Listen, I got I got two little babies at home.
I can't take a nap. Who's going to take care
of them? So it's tough, get it? Yeah, all right, man, thoughts,
good luck? No, it's uh, it's listen, it's it's There's
a lot of people who have said to me like, ugh,
your job isn't hard. You talk for four hours like
(05:31):
it's nothing, But they're not adding in the schedule the
work we do the night before, you know, coming up with.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Topics and all that.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
It's you know, this job is weird because you put
a microphone in front of ninety percent of the people
that you know.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
It's not even about even the talking. It's like the
mental strain. You just have to come up with things
well content creators, not in the sense of like TikTok
and stuff. Right, yeah, but you've got it like it's
it's draining on the brain. Bro for four hours. You
feel like you've worked in an eight hour shift.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
There's always this pressure to perform too. If you're not
exactly they could fire you, like any day. Again, this
job isn't very secure, so there's that mental part of it, and.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
People get so mad.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
You say one thing and all of a sudden, I'm
being called transsexual, you know what I mean. They get
mad at me and they're like, you like Kyleen Jenner,
but that one has been consistent. I say one thing
that somebody isn't like. I'm like, oh, maybe Karen Reid
did it. They're like, you're transsexual. I'm like, oh, tah man,
you know fine, Yeah, Like it's crazy out here.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
The world is weird.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Cindy is in Lawrence, Hi sing good morning, Hi, how
are you.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
I'm good. We got a big birthday today.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
Yeah, my twelve year old Julius, Happy birthday. I just
want to give them a shout out.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Happy birthday to Julius. Doesn't it like it goes so fast.
I'm sure you're thinking that right now. It's nuts.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
It's I can't believe I got through for the second time,
because when my now twenty three year old turn twenty
one and I also called to give him a shut up.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Wow, it must be something.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
It must be something about the birthdays. Well, have fun
celebrating the twelve year old tonight.
Speaker 7 (07:08):
Mom, thank you, thank you, have a great day.
Speaker 3 (07:12):

things we talked about thus far. Just say what up?

Speaker 7 (07:59):

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Yeah, I'm Laura. How told you? I'm sick? You're six
years old?
Speaker 2 (08:08):
And is it somebody's birthday today? Yes?
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Your mom? So Mommy said, listen, this is what we're
gonna do. Mommy's gonna call a number.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
I'm gonna hand you the phone and you're gonna say
happy birthday to me on the radio.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Is that what she said?
Speaker 6 (08:22):
No, tell tell her what happened.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Tell me what happened.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
I said good morning to my mom and also happy birthday,
and this poor.
Speaker 7 (08:35):
My idea.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Oh you were like, I want to call Ashley and
say happy birthday to you on the radio?
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Why sis? You trained her?
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Well?
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Honey, can you give me some pointers? I need to know?
I love that. Listen, you're the best. They're you're the
best daughter.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
And I hope you and mom have a great day
celebrating her birthday.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Do we have any plans?
Speaker 6 (08:58):
Thank you?
Speaker 7 (08:58):
Ask you?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Not?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Really?
Speaker 6 (09:00):
This was all hers and she was like, can we
call the radio and tell them that's because we listened
to y'all on.
Speaker 7 (09:05):
The way for the Ways of School. I love it.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
I'm like, oh, so that was kind of special because
I don't really have anything.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Point.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
I guess we're going to go out to eat later.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Cute. I love it. Well, have fun tonight.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
The best daughter.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
She is the best. She's so cute.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
How old are you, Denise, I'll be well, I'm thirty
seven today.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
Happy thirty seven. Thank you so much for the call.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
Thank you, good morning, good morning, thank.
Speaker 7 (09:30):
You, good morning.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
You have a good day.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Oh wow, look that's sick. Thanks.
Speaker 7 (09:35):
You know.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I want to say this because she's thirty seven, and
I recently listened to a podcast, and I feel like
this kind of goes with our conversation earlier. Another woman
I heard in an interview Lauren Graham, if you watched
Gilmore Girls, the iconic Lorali said that there's no greater
time than the forties.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Absolutely, she had the forties are the best best. I've
heard so many people say that lately.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Yeah, it's been amazing. I think you just had things
figured out more and then yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
You know what she said, Damn, I forget the quote,
but it's like something along the lines of like you
know who you are and you know what you want,
and you at that time perspective and a lot of yeah, yeah,
because in the.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
In your twenties and thirties, you're chasing something.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah, the forties, you might have had it, or you
might still be chasing, but you know exactly what it
is that you're chasing.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Which, by the way, in my twenties, forties seemed ancient,
but it's not oh so far away.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
High school, Ashley was like, I'm gonna be married when
I'm thirty, I'm gonna have sucods, I'm gonna make millions
of dollars. Like you just don't know, you think thirties
old in high school, like you genuinely think thirty is ancient.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Yeah, And to Foreign's point, man, the forties come.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
Fast, super fast.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
I tell my kids that, oh yeah, y'all, blanket, Y're
gonna blink, You're gonna be thirty, then you blink, then
you're body, then you're fifty, then he's sixty, and you
gotta get.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
It going that the fifties are the best. Like, just
let us start get getting that narrative going. So that
we're not afraid of anything. I know you you embraced
out the time. That's nice, that's really good.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
All Right, we're gonna wrap up the check in with
a talk back that we got. Y'all are so hard
on Sandy, but I know it's out of love.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
But honestly, and I have commented on his posts even
though I'm not on ig that much.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
I love his content.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
I love his I love what he's doing. He's always
trying to better himself and at the same time others
most important.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Okay, if you're getting hey, you're going to a compliment,
just like, stop speaking and let the person comment. But
you can't like gas he are they no, listen, we
we we make fun of you, but it is.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
It is all friendly banter. That's what we do on
the show.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
I'll sign that too.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Yeah, I mean do I do?
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I get like the legit shakes thinking of this man
alone in his office, like staring at a computer and
looking off to the you know, to the as he's
filming himself, to the wall wherever it is the camera
and just talking. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I've seen it in action before war and it upsets me.
But you like it and that's all that matters.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
Try living with me having filming days, because then I'm telling.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
My fam we can be quiet on the sect.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Guys, I need.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Quiet.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
It's impossible to hit it in one single line.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
You have a speech impeditive, is well, Joannely has sex
with you.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
One night a week. Quiet on the set.
