Last night we had a spaghetti dinner with them.

So we had about twelve girls at the house. My
daughter's feel hockey team was there, so we had to
past a dinner. And what they do?

I love this so much.

We were going to leave yesterday and we're chatting about work,
and you were like, yeah, I have this pasta dinner tonight.

The girls are coming over for it. It reminded me.

It's so reminiscent of when I was in high school
because if we were playing somebody big, like our rival.
When I played at Colleins at high school, our rival
was Haddenfield, So it wouldn't be every game, yeah, but
if we were gearing up for like a hadden Field game,
one of the moms would cook like a big dinner
for us, and we would go over and kind of
just like.

Team bond and hang out out and I'll be around.
And I love that they still do that in these days.

And this was because they start their playoffs tonight.

Or today, right, so it's always something big.

So they were definitely bonding because at one point they're
downstairs in the basement screaming, singing something. They were doing karaoke.
I think that wasn't the issue. That was I was
fine with, Yeah, this is bonding. My issue is when
they went outside to play Manhunter, which is like.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Trust me, I know manneh. So they didn't call it
man Hunter.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It was just Manhunt, Manhunt, Manhunter now, I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah.

So they were playing that for a while and they
came inside and all of a sudden, I'm looking on
the carpet. I'm like, what is that? No, oh my god,
And then you see a trail of it going to
the other carpet. It was dog poop. We have a dog.
She pops out like they're stomped all over. But that
right into the house. So my wife last night was

cleaning like the carpets and it's just I'm like, oh,
my God.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
First off, you don't have no shoes policy in your house?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Well, we do, but I don't force. I don't really
enforce because I wear my shoes around the house. And
then when we have.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Guests, you ask for people to take their shoes off.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
But that's another thing.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
Are they your house shoes? Are they irregular? Like you
wore them here and then you're walking.

Don't wear your outside shoes around the house. Like, first
of all, base about me.

Know this about me? I wear jeans in bed, I way,
I do all these things.

And you have the audacity to ask others to take
their shoes off for what.

No, I wasn't going to ask them to take off anything.
The issue is that somebody stepped in dog poop and
then brought it inside the house.

Yeah, well you've also accidentally done it.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I've done that something else.

But what I'm talking about Anne able to get it out.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
She was able to get it out. She wasn't that
upside about it, but it was more so just annoyed.

Side note that has nothing to do with that. But
does Joanne have the little green Bissel machine what she
used to clean it out?

It's like a steamer thing and like a carpet thing.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Because I would like to say and take the time
right now that that the green Bissel machine. It always
goes on sale for Black Friday. Let me tell you
something that that thing, that machine, I want to say,
it's like eighty or one hundred bucks. That has gotten
stains out of everything and anything in my in my home.

Somebody suggested it to me like a year ago. We
have a white couch. Yes, how much? How much is
it retailing for me?

It's like a hundred bucks.

Yeah, and usually it'll go on sale for Black Friday.
If you live in a home with young kids, if
you have carpets, if you that machine is magic.

I've never seen anything like it.

Okay, I've been off to buy that. We don't have that.

Then we have playoffs today, So I'm going to the game.
I think the game starts are three thirty. It's somewhere
kind of far. I forget the name of the school.

last season they didn't do good at all, but this
season they've gotten a lot better.

gotta say the Sixers rookies were showing off. They played

not know this fun fact about me. I have been
on multiple reality TV shows, but the biggest one and

the one with the most notoriety is the real world,
and start getting real that.

It's funny because my son and I were watching an
episode and he was asking when it was I was like, yeah,

like dark hair, baby face, baby. I mean, I'm almost
forty now. So if you think about it was a
whole twenty years ago, and you were in New Orleans, right,
We were in New Orleans. It was the second time
going back there because there was an OG New Orleans season,
which and we went.

Back previously on the Real World. Like Pat, that's me,

our Real World season. We were the last OG Real
World season where it was eight strangers picked a li
than a house. After our season, they started picking eight
people and then their exes would show up or like
their enemies would. It just wasn't the original icon. We
were the We were the end of an era. We

were the last season to do it.

I still remember the first one came out. It was
an experiment that nobody had done before. So when you
pick these people to live in the house, you see
but the key to it, they were people from different
walks of life exactly naturally caused some like drama within
the house. And that was the first one. And I
remember the big issue that happened was I think it
was Real World San Francisco or La where one of

the guys ripped the covers off the girl and she
was in her underwear and that went viral at the
time and caused this huge thing and got kicked out
of the house for pulling like just the covers off.
Now you think about what they would do. Now, that's
like nothing. And then there was another season I think
see Adam the slaps laughter in the face. Yes, this crazy,
which is wild.

They were driving off in the cache Irene and she
thought he wanted to say something and he was like, yeah, crazy.

Even slapped Irene and that was a major thing too.
But that show was iconic.

I grew up on the Real World, Like I remember
watching the Real World.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
I remember being down Seattle City in New Jersey and
we were watching Vegas.

Yes, Trischelle and Brinn and Steven and Alton.

And I remember watching that season being like I want
to be on the show. Yeah, and my friends were like, oh, yeah,
we have to get on this show. We loved Real
World so much, like we would skip Beach time to
not miss a singular episode. Vegas was the one for
me that really stands out in my time. It's so
funny though now, like I talked to Trichell, but it's

at that time, Trichelle was like a massive celebrity. Celebrities. Yeah,
you know, she was on the Real World.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
I would probably say that's probably the biggest one of
all time. And when that was happening here, we would
we would give away cut the line passes to the
auditions here and people would call in non stop and
the line was massive.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Fun fact for you.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
I have my cut the line pass because I got one,
and I have it folded in my house like it's
like my good luck charm. And I when we got
into the house and you know, us eight strangers were
chatting about how we got there and how we got
on the show and all the things at all eight
of us not only had it, but all had it
in our wallets. We all did the same thing, and

we thought it was like our good luck chron because
I got to cut the line and then fast forward,
I was on the Real World.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
How did you get that passed? So somebody give that
to you.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
I went on MTV dot com to watch day twenty
six video at the time, and there was like a
little thing like sign up for the Real World. They
emailed me back and they gave me, hey, there's gonna
be auditions in Boston.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Here's the cut the line the house.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Yeah, and it was Infanuel Hall And thank god I
had that pass because it was hundreds of people.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Yeah, you know what. I got sent down to one
just to cover it for the radio station. It was
interesting to watch how they do the casting. They broke
people up into different groups and just had them talk
about their lives and there was one person there picking
some people out.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
By the end of it, I had probably done like
five or six two hour plus on camera interviews, got
flown out to LA and the last LA interview I
did was them telling us that were telling me that
I was going to be on it, and they were like,
how would you feel about go into New Orleans? And
I was like, oh, I would love to go to
a No, like you're going to New Orleans, You're going

to be on the road. I will never forget it.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
And how long were they filming for?

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Like we filmed for close to four months, like three
and a half months we lived in that house. Yeah,
and there's so many six one seven nine three one.
By the way, six one seven nine three. People always
ask me a lot of repeat questions because people have
the same ones.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yeah, it didn't feed us.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
When we moved into the house, it was stocked with food.
But after that, like you had to make your own way,
and they would weekly give us a stipend. But anything
you did wrong, like if you took your microphone off,
you got doced pay. If you said to them, oh,
I'm going to the gym, and they wanted to meet
you at the gym to film and you weren't to
the gym, you got doced pay. So there were it

was like a running joke in our house. Sometimes some
of the guys would get zero dollars for the week.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Yeah, we were sponsored by Subway.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Uh huh.

I ate Subway for three and a half months straight.
I don't know how.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
I'm not dead of mercury poisoning. I was getting tuna.
I thought that was healthy, and I you know, we
would just we would figure it out. We had no money,
you know, we were just fresh out of college, and
so we would eat Subway once a day and then
hope we got some money at the end of every week.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Your season is on Paramount Plus and I've watched episodes
one through four. I have to say, everybody else is insane,
Like you aren't crazy at all.

Speaker 5 (17:35):
Which is wild because I am in my own right
and own way. But yeah, in comparison, but some.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Of those people are certified, like they're insane. Yeah, but
it was entertaining. It was cool to see you like
on there because I never watched before.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
And you've met You've met some of them at my wedding,
and I'm actually still friends with some of the.

People in my house.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
What's the one that came to your wedding?

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Jimmy was at the wedding. Jack Goes Crazy, Sahara I'm still.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
Really close with. But Sahara lives in Chicago. She was
at a baby shower. We had Preston on our season.
I don't know where Preston is. I don't know what
he's doing. Ryan was like the villain of our season.
Ryan was a hairdresser in Arizona. The last I heard
that man is nuts. We lost one one of my
good friends, Ryan Knight, Eric, who is a comedian. I
don't know what Eric's doing now myself. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
The most fascinating thing that you talk about is like
they're always filming you, so when you go to the bathroom,
when you're taking a shot, when you're having sex, like
all these things are on the whole time.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Yeah, and when you're like think think if you're peeing,
think of a camera like over top of you, so
it would hit like your your mid thigh on so
you couldn't see anything, but there was a camera in
the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
That's probably the most uncomfortable part. Yeah, number two, like, yeah,
being filmed.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
I also like I rooted my my one of he
Ryan Knight, passed away, but he was my roommate, so
that was another thing for me, Like I had a
guy roommate, Like we slept in the same room, like,
and he was with Jemmy, Like they hooked up, So
Jemmy and Knight would sleep in the room with me,
which is also funny.

Another fun fact I feel we should just talk about
because it relates and people might not know. This is
like you ended up dating somebody from the realm, the
real world, right, I.

Did the challenge from the challenge completely. Well, he was
on uh what was that on Real World San Diego?
Oh that's right, he was Yeah, yeah, so he was
on San Diego season And that's okay. That's a good
point too. After you go on the Real World, you
guys all become like this creep family. Everybody knows of
everybody because of the challenges and all these things. So
I had gone to a Real World rap party in

New York and that's how I met him.

Yeah, yeah, because he was there.

And then he moved to Boston too. That was a
whole other thing.

He moved to Boston for me.

Yeah, man, the long hair. I have no idea why
it actually blocked, right, I am. But he had like
a podcast where he talks about certain things from like
just from just the challenges. He breaks breaks down certain
aspects that are kind of happening.

He would be perfect for that because he's he was
like a big time challenge competitor and he was he
was always asked to be on those things reality. Yes,
it's crazy, but this whole conversation is happening. Because Stupid
Ass Entertainment Weekly ranked all thirty three seasons of the
Real World Guys thirty three seasons.

They put us at twenty.

Eighth, number twenty eight.

I mean, for the love of God, they might as
well put us at thirty three because it was a

liked our season.

are the cast members. The police got involved when Leslie
and Robertson did some seriously disgusting things to each other's toothbrushes, cigarettes,
and other personal objects. So to give you a little

insight info there, Ryan was hated in our house, and
Preston hated him so much that he took Ryan's toothbrush.
