Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake it up, Sale, Wait, get up, wake up Salem.
This is the craziest moment. I cannot First off, I
can't believe it's finally here. Hi, everybody, good morning. We're
literally live. We've been talking about it for weeks from
Rockefellers in Salem. I I definitely have said this at nauseum,
but if we weren't doing this live show, I would
(00:20):
still be coming here to this bar. This is the bar,
the place to go to in Salem to party, central location,
right across from the Bewitch statue. And honestly don't remember
many more nights here.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Oh really yeah, because by the time here you're like
in the bag.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah for sure, and you know, seeing the owner and
saying hi to him. This morning, I thought to myself,
the amount of times that man has met Smashy is
I Smashly She always makes an appearance.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
And you know what's funny about that?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
There were years past when you would text me, Hey,
can you text your guy from the restaurant, and I'd
always be like, should I warn him that she's a
lot when she gets drunk, and she's really tall, she's imposing.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Respectfully, I've never been kicked out of here though, and
that is.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
When you know, because I know that though for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, well no we don't. We also need to keep
in mind it's a small crowd right now, one of
which is my mother. So let's rain this in. My
number one fan is here if you haven't seen it
yet on the on the social media surprise, We're Chucky
and the Bride of Chucky. Oh yes, How are you
feeling about this costume in comparison to last year?
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Well, it was last year, Like okay, I will say
the ghostation last year is probably a lot better because
this one does not fit me. And it's not because
I bought the wrong size. I just think in different
countries the sizing is different.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
He's doing that thing where he's like, you know, lately, no, no, lately,
I've just been a medium, So I got a large
in this figuring it'd probably be a little bit baggy.
It is baggy in zero places. In fact, it's uncomfortable
from the front and the back.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah, but I feel like the back is less offensive
than the front.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
The front is harder. Mine. If you walked by a school,
they would say arrest this man, like it's not good. Yeah,
I can see it all either way, we committed. But
his back is busting out of the cops.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Oh really, Yeah, it doesn't sit me.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Yeah, it's pretty, it's pretty uncomfortable. AJ is here also
high expectations for AJ. I feel like there could be
a little bit of disppoinment for people only because her
face isn't painted. But AJ came as Bob Ross. I'm
here painting. No, no, no, but I have my painting. Yeah,
I'll make a painting. Yeah. If we were in hopes
that she'd find a man here in Salem, those hopes
(02:26):
and dreams are out the window, and this ensemble.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Even if the perfect guy walked in here, she still
would fund Listen.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
If a man can't love me as Bob Ross, he
doesn't deserve to love.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Me at wow.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Wow, we got a little confidence here in Salem. By
the way, she's gonna come on later in the show.
She has some sort of sad update I'm sure to
give us on her dating life, and this.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
One she's been holding for a couple of weeks, so
I can't wait to hear it.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
It's already upsetting me. It's disturbing, I'm sure. But listen,
we're gonna be here from six to ten. As you
guys know, we're doing this massive costume contest. If you
are in costume and you're on the way, we can't
wait to see you. Eight am the cutoff for that.
But we have one thousand dollars. We have tickets for
the big party that's tomorrow here at Rockefell's that's completely
sold up. We have last minute tickets and all the things.
(03:10):
Jake is here, and I love Jake for being here.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Who's Jake.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Listener? I don't know that the one man that's staring
at When you said that, I was thinking like a
like a Halloween count. You're looking for a state farm. Jake, No, no, no,
I'm just I can't even believe it. We're here. We've
done it, and at this point in time, all of
my radio dreams have come true. We are live from
(03:37):
Rockefellers in Salem. We're gonna be here from six to
ten this morning. We're definitely hanging out after ten. That
is when Big Mama will have some adult bevies. I
did not bring the children, so I would love to
meet you as myself. I would love to meet you
as Smashley. Whatever it is, get down here. There's no
better place to be. I'll just say it. In the
world right now. We're in Salem during Halloween season.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
It's the first, especially in the jam In Morning Show
when you need to know, we got you three things
you need to Know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
You haven't any more.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Five Friday, October twenty fourth, and son, we had this
conversation and I was really really hoping this was not
where it was going to end. And I don't want
you know, listen, I think if you're if you're the
parents here, you're still holding on to hope. But this
isn't the best news we have out of Vermont. Remember
I told you about missing twenty one year old Leah Smith.
Lea was last seen on campus Sunday. Actually I'm sorry
(04:36):
it was Friday. And on Sunday was when his father.
Her father was like, you know what, this doesn't seem right.
It's been two days. I'm going to call. So now
fast forward. Here we are to Friday, and police and
Vermont have discovered a body. They're saying while searching for
her U They will not confirm the identity of the person,
but the body was found around one thirty pm yesterday,
(04:58):
and Middlebury Police immediately said in a press conference, we
will not identify the person, but they also indicated that
the death was not suspicious.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
It's clearly her, though, I mean, probably they have the
way from the family.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
It's suspicious. I'm nervous.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
They probably have the way for the family to confirm
our identity and all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
And remember they're from California, and so we'd obviously assume
that the parents have already made their way here, just
timeline wise, especially with them having called on Sunday. But
there's just so many question marks here because remember we said, like,
do they have cell phone information from her? Do we
have computer? Do we know what her friend said? Was
she talking to somebody? Were they going to meet up? Like,
there's just way too many questions marks.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
So if they're saying it's suspicious, clearly they probably have
not somebody in mind. But it happened on campus, so
that's probably a murder, right, I mean, that's what we
can all assume.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yeah, and I think that our that was the tough thing.
A couple of days ago. We were trying not to
assume that she wouldn't come home, but it just it
was it was Wednesday when we first started talking about it.
Here we are on Friday, so it's obviously it's awful.
Twenty one years old. Remember she was a former she
did swimming in diving there and it's just awful. So
as soon as we get more information and in confirmation
on that situation, will keep you posted. But I just
(06:08):
wish it was something better thoughts I All right, let's
talk about this FBI sting with the Lapia with the NBA.
I mean, it's tough transition, but the bottom line is
Terry Rozier and Chahunzi Bib's got some problem. Yeah, this
is insane. So listen, they're both arrested in relation to
this federal investigation into illegal gambling, both kind of for
(06:29):
different things. So Terry Roseier was out here telling people
like bet the under on me, bub Yeah, now I'm
gonna fake an injury. I'm gonna come out of this
game and you're gonna be two hundred thousand dollars. Which
are to think that this happens in the NBA.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
It really messes you up, and it's crazy to think
because you can go back and see the videos and
he actually came up with nine minutes into the game,
so people got paid.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yes, it's also crazy to think I'm sure he's not
the only one.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
And that's my issue. But then it just you don't
want to believe you In your head, you're like it,
let be these couple players, but it's not. You know,
you know it's not. Terry Rozier just couldn't keep his
lip shut. Absolutely, Louis lips buddy, what are you doing.
Chauncey Billups, on the other hand, was the as they
called face card, and he would bring these rich elitemen
(07:17):
to these poker rings. Everything was set up, you could
see the cards through the table, and he was the
one that would be like, oh, come play poker with us.
I'm Chauncey Billups. We're gonna steal all your money.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
It reminds me of an episode of The Sopranos when
they go to the hotel and they're playing like the
card game with all these famous people in there. But
also too, this is why you don't make deals with
the mobs, because they got you forever.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
It really gives like Soprianos, you wouldn't even believe it. Yesterday,
during a presser, here's FBI director Cash PTEL.
Speaker 6 (07:50):
Individuals such as Chauncey Billups, Damon Jones, and Terry Rozier
were taking into custody today former current NBA players and coaches.
What you don't know is that this is an illegal
gambling operation and sports rigging operation that span the course
of years. The FBI let a coordinative takedown across eleven
(08:10):
states to arrest over thirty individuals today.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Responsible for this case, which is very much ongoing.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
To give you guys a little example, a single victim
in this case lost one point eight million dollars in
the gambling scheme.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
He couldn't pick up the fact that he kept losing. Oh,
he just wanted to keep he was going back.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Oh, by the way, cool to see Chauncey Bilts not
that cool. Yeah No, I mean, like Chauncey Billup says
to me, come play poker. Once I lose a little
bit of money, I'm not going back. I'm all set.
But yeah, I mean some of the mob names that
were included in this, the Gambinos, the Bananos, I mean,
we got them all. So I think we're gonna be
learning a lot more about this. And tons of people
(08:49):
around the NBA and around just the sports world have
had a lot to say about this because it does
it tarnishes the game of sports to think that this
can happen, texting your friends go ahead and go ahead
and bet the under on me. I'll be out in
nine minutes.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Bigger thought is who right now is waking up scared
his hell because they know that they're on the list
and they've had some communication with him.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
If you have time, go back and watch the clip
of Terry Rozier faking this injury, not witting it on.
Now that I see it back, I want to slap
my own self. It's so bad.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
There's other ones where he's making the worst passes in history.
It's correct over.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
He'll be dribbling up the court and he kicks it
halfway and it's like it's it When you see it
after knowing this, it definitely looks fake and you know
what he was doing. It's sad. We'll keep you posted
all right. And lastly, lover Girl is out. Our girl
Magde Stallion releasing some new music. Remember she sampled totals
kissing you Don't sing It for Them song and she
(09:44):
also said this song is about her. Bill Klay Thompson here.
Speaker 7 (09:47):
It is.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
My man, my man, my man, my mate, me and
my Maiby and began calling the men John man, me craze,
my man, my man, my man, my mate, my baby.
That's him right going the man John hen me craze,
my man, and my man.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
It's not bad.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
We don't really get much there. We're gonna have to
get a better clip because.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
I mean, she's gonna sound silly because you know they
going to break up at some point.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
You don't you always do this. Maybe this is gonna
be the one. She's been sitting with his mother at
the game.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Two things, Clay's roster is amazing, so clearly he goes
through girls a lot. And then also the minute he's
on the road, he's cheating.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Mark my words.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
The other the others weren't sitting with mom. I'm just
gonna throw that out there, so once you get a
seat with mom, you might be seeing a little bit longer.
That's three things you need to know. For Friday, October
twenty fourth, we're still doing hip hops most Haunted while
we're here at Rockefellers, and this one's exciting. At seven twenty,
I have tickets to go see Ray and at a
twenty Cardi'd be Okay, we're live in Salem. I can't
(10:55):
believe it. Not that Ford anymore. Honey, we're in which city?
Come on.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
In morning show?
Speaker 5 (11:01):
Good morning.
Speaker 8 (11:02):
Sastin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Hi everybody, good morning from Rockefellers in Salem. I've spent
many a night here during spooky season. Actually, when I
first walked in, I was like, can I get behind
the bar for if I didn't drink? So, don't even
don't even get that going out. I'm not drinking it.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Yeah, No, I'm serious.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
An hour I got behind the bar and I just
had all these flashes of so many I have had
so many amazing memories here. Uh. You know, this is
the spot to be. It's the spot to go to,
such a great central location. You can look out the glass,
you can look down Essex. You're gonna see all of
your favorites. You're gonna see Penny Wise, you're gonna see Freddy,
you're gonna see Michael Myers. And this morning you're gonna
(11:45):
see Chucky and his something.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Can I can I say?
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Though? No, I don't want you to say anything. I
want everybody to go to jam in ninety four or
five Instagram because you know, I had to put the
caption hey want to play, because that's what Chucky says,
and they're gonna think with it because you are like,
this is uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
I mean this is a large this is a large
I bought this when costume. Yeah, I don't just a
costume because not anything else. Well, on that note, it
doesn't look it looks it's side I did.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
What's your favorite thing that you like to say? The
animal of the desert. I've had a few people write
me and say it's the animal of.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Mood?
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Knuckles? What else do people say?
Speaker 3 (12:27):
That's what they say? All of that. I'm a little
bit embarrassed. It doesn't take me. Isn't like it takes
me a lot?
Speaker 1 (12:32):
I know, and I actually knew you'd be embarrassed because
there there are people here, which is like, yes, the
fact that there are people here, I cannot get emotional
and cry. But we all know I'm a crier. It's
not even seven am. There are people here.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
I know.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
That means you guys probably got up in the fives, sixes,
maybe even earlier to be here. And so I don't
cry I just want to say I love you all
and thank you so much everything to us, but no,
this costume. Thank God for the costume, and you're penis
being out because if not, I would probably be boohooing.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
I honestly want to take this call.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
I can tell you're uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Well, it's uncomfortable because you can see everything I own.
My wife last night was like, what do you You
can't wear that. I'm like, I have to. I have
a choice.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
But this is also my own fault because I've bought
this costume weeks ago and I tried it on for
the first time last night.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
I had done this.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
You know, we do this every year, and every year
I beg of you to put just like a little
bit of planning into it. There's there was zero planning
here even the show. Everybody your back, I mean in
the car you guys can't see, but he's literally busting
out the back of this. The entire thing is tight.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Again, this is a large and other parts of the
world the largest difference.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
If you're not here, obviously we wish you were. You
can see everything. Everything that we're talking about. At jam
and ninety four or five Instagram right now, can I.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Just say though it's cold outside too, it is it is.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Chilli outside, And can I just say that's another thing, uh,
being outside here in Salem with that, I'm so used
to coming and fighting all of the crowds and not
being able to get in all the stores, being out
on Essex with not a single little soul out there.
It's like I'm waiting for Winnie Sanderson. It's very it's eerie.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
You have been talking about this for like a couple
of weeks.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Make a day of this entire day, and that is
on point because now when everybody leaves, you have you
have Salem here and you have parking, so that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
People come from all over the world to see Salem
during this time. I mean the hotels here in Salem
are booked a year in advance. It's just there's no
better place to be. I even say, even if you're
not big into Halloween, you can take a step back
and be like, damn, this is It's crazy what they
do and every store has a nod to Halloween. It's
just so fun. But we're excited for people to still
(14:38):
come in and see their costumes. At eight am is
when we're going to start really, you know, writing people's
names down, getting everybody in and trying to get this
thing going with the costume.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Your costume is nice. You've talked about mine, but yours
is nice too. Depending on how you move, you can
get a sneak peek.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
You can time to see.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Don't make us about me, Penis boy, don't.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Make it the butt me, but cheek.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
My mother is here.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
I know, you know what.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I put this black lipstick on this morning, and I
was like, I was taken. I was taken back a
little bit. It's not my usual go too. I like it.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
It's giving Dominatrix.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
It's given something.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
My mom loved that one.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
It's giving something, that's for sure. So eight am we
will start the Halloween costume contest. Aj is here as well.
We are going to do a little check in with
her love life around eight thirty, which you know, obviously
will be a tune out for some because no one
likes to be that depressed on Friday. But I hear
you have some sort of secret to tell us. And
by the way, if she has a secret, that means
(15:43):
she hasn't told a single soul.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
What are you doing, Bob.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
AJ's just is Bob Ross. By the way, I keep secrets.
I don't tell you guys everything. Yeah, that's probably for
the best.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Wait to hear this.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Everybody in here is like, here we go. They're all
thinking it. You're thinking it in the car. So we
have a ton of stuff happening. A good witch from
Salem is going to visit us as well, hopefully, but
a nice little spell on all of us. I just
I feel like I'm repeating myself, but I feel so
lucky that we got this opportunity to do this and
to be here. I'd be coming here drunk anyway, So
it's nice to work and then get drunk.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
And just have ourselves to day and no offense to anybody.
And I'm not trying to start a fight, but.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
This event, right anytime starts with no offense.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
This experience right now is better than Turkey toss. I
kiss that He's all respect to them, but this is better, right,
You just can't we just I just want to start
a fight.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
I know, all right, So eight am, if you were
in the car and you're on the way, if I
know how traffic is, if you're gonna be a little
after eight am, that's fine. Shoot, us a DM let
us know. I know the owner of Rockefellers is gonna
help pop on and tell us, but they have a
ton of stuff going on. I know he wants me
to make sure we chat all about it. Their big
(16:53):
massive party that they have tomorrow is sold out. But
I think he's actually gonna hook some people up with
tickets in and I think those people that are here
right now should be getting the hook out because again,
guys getting up this early to come hang with us
is just it's the sweetest. Let's play some music, though
before everybody in the car is like, all right enough,
we're tired. I'm not there, Ashley, and I'm getting legit fomo.
(17:14):
If you are on the way, we can't wait to
see you. We are live in which city from Rockefellers.
Speaker 8 (17:19):
Good morning as the Morning Show and you need to
know we got you three things you need to know
on Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbags.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
She haven't any more five and we were talking timelines
on you were worried. You're like, it's Wednesday, It's not
looking good. Friday of last week, twenty one year old
Leah Smith was last scene on campus at Middlebury College.
(17:50):
By Sunday, her dad hadn't heard from her, so he
obviously calls and he's like, I haven't heard from my daughter.
That something doesn't seem right. Fast forward to Wednesday, the
story is starting to get national tension. We're finding out
about Leah. She was on the swimming and diving team
there at Middlebury. She was a double major. And you know,
we've seen this a lot and unfortunately, after a certain
(18:11):
amount of time, it's god they call it. The first
forty eight goes by, you start to get worried. I
can tell you that this morning police and Vermont have
reported that they have found a body in the midst
of their search for twenty one year old Leah Smith.
They're not confirming the identity of the person found, but
remember she's a California native and we were kind of
talking about this last hour. Maybe they're waiting for the
(18:32):
family to get here if they're not here already, but
certainly doesn't make you feel good, and obviously we're thinking
that unfortunately they probably found her.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, Now the big question is is what happened? What
put her in that situation? Was a mental state? Was
it somebody else?
Speaker 3 (18:45):
So that we don't know right was she talking.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
To somebody online? Was there a meetup? We don't have
any of those answers, so as soon as we get them,
I will keep you posted. But like I said, right now,
police have yet to confirm the identity of the body
that they have found. And I saw this headline yesterday,
I remembered a moment of hanging out with Terry Rozier
at Jamin when he played for the Celtics. Here's why
(19:09):
faking injuries?
Speaker 7 (19:10):
Then?
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Was he giving you guy tips on who to bet?
Speaker 1 (19:13):
No? I made zero dollars off of him, then I
got to make a lot more. This story is so
crazy because I think, not only are we learning that
professional sports can be tarnished in this way, but now
you're gonna be second guessing everything, especially if you're somebody
the bets.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
And I think we've only figured out like this is
just a tip of the iceberg.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
This story's gonna get a lot deeper, and I feel
like more players are gonna come out In the next
couple of weeks.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Portland Trailblazer's head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami heat guard
former Celtic Terry Rozier were arrested. Terry Rozier was arrested
in a hotel in Orlando, like with the team. Oh
really embarrassing, right because he's playing nowah So, anyways, here's
what we kind of found out, because there's a lot
of moving parts to this because not only were some
(19:58):
of the NBA players, which is involved, but the mafia
was involved as well. The way it's being described for
Chauncey Billups is he was the face card. So Chauncey
Billups would go up to the elite rich people in
Portland and say, oh, hey, by the way, not only
in Portland, he was doing it in La in Vegas
in New York and he'd say, hey, come play poker
with us tonight.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
And you know, these guys are like.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Oh my, Chauncey Billups invited me. By the way, Chauncey
Phillips is not that high on my list. Drake whose
birthday is says hey, Ash, come play, come play a
little bit of poker. I'm coming to play. But anyways,
these guys were like, oh, oh, they're taken back. Chauncey
Billips wants to play poker with me. They go, they
play poker. You can you know they have. It's a
it's a whole thing. It's all set up. They can
see the cards through the table. One victim lost one
(20:43):
point eight million dollars playing poker with Johncey Billups.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
That person's an idiot. At some point he should have stopped.
Maybe when he lost like one hundred k is like,
you know what, I'm.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Done with this, But he kept going on the other end,
Terry Rozier just loose lips. He's telling people bet the
under on me. He's faking injuries, he's making passes that
like the blind could do better. Yeah, it's just embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
It makes you wonder how deep they were and with
like the mafia, because they clearly had a lot on him.
They were probably threatening his family. That's why he kept
going for years.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Had to be. The Gambinos were like, we're taking your
family out, so you're gonna actually have to go out
here and kick the ball off your toe. Yesterday there
was a press conference about all of it. I couldn't
believe when I saw the news. Here's FBI Director Cash Ptel.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
Individuals such as Chauncey Billups, Damon Jones, and Terry Rozier
were taking into custody today former current NBA players and coaches.
What you don't know is that this is an illegal
gambling operation and sports rigging operation that spanned the course
of years. The FBI led a coordinative takedown across eleven
(21:46):
states to arrest over thirty individuals today responsible for this case,
which is very much ongoing.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I don't think this is going to be the end
of this.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
The only part about this I don't understand, right, if
you are going to played poker and you're getting scammed
and this is just like an illegal game, so how
are you now arresting the people who were cheating at
the illegal game? Shouldn't everybody be arrested, you would.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Think, I mean, my whole thing is like, let's not
act like Chauncey Billups salary looks like ours, Like what
a certain you do really need the extra seven million
on the side for? Like, what are we doing?
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Like I would rich?
Speaker 1 (22:24):
They're rich, get richer all right. And lastly, Chloe Kardashian
I had no idea that her and aj had so
much in common because the Kardashians the newest season is
backs on and Chloe made quite the confession.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Julia Fox has celibate, she has not had sex in
four years, and this gummy is all about like self
pleasure too, so it's not just about partner pleasure.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
You can take this gummy and also.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I haven't had sex over three or this gummy is
perfect for you.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Would you like to make a cameo?
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (22:57):
I'm happy though, because if Chloe hasn't had sex over
three years, that means she's not going back to Tristan,
and I think we can applaud that at.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
The very least. After why didn't you find something to like,
have some fun with, especially if you're her I.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Don't know, or anybody after a year and some change.
Would you It's been a year and a half, so
I guess not sure you can find some today, even
a blind squirrel, you know what I'm saying. All right,
there's three things either know. Over Friday, October twenty fourth,
let's do a round one of hip hop's most haunted. Obviously,
if you can't be here and celebrate with us and
(23:30):
hang and do costume contests and all the things, I
want to make sure if you're listening in the car,
you get hooked up two six one seven nine three
one one nine four five Collars twenty five. Not only
are you going to see Array at the MGM Music Hall,
but you were also going to go to Spooky World.
Happy Halloween? From which city?
Speaker 5 (23:46):
Dashyam in Morning show, Good Morning, Bastin's number one for
hip hop jam in ninety four five.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Hi, everybody, good morning. Not in Medford, No, I'm sure.
I'm sure it's nice in Medford right now, but it
is a lot better in Salem. We're here at Rockefeller's.
I cannot say it enough. There is no better place
to be, and I would be saying that whether we
were doing this broadcast here or not. It's such a
central location, right across from the Bewitch Statue, iconic. The
energy here is electric. The sun is starting to come up.
(24:17):
I just can't believe that we are lucky enough to
be able to do this in which city a week
out from Halloween.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
It's amazing.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
God, a little bit so much. All right, we're doing
the check in right now, so we're checking in on you,
your life, your world will go to the phones. We'll
go to people that are here with us for the broadcast.
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
Shelby is actually in the car on her way here
to Rockefellers shall be good morning? Shall shall they?
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Shallby? Is there in spirit?
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Well? Who's doing all of our engineering back at this duo? Oh?
What can you hear me? Traffic? Hello? Okay, we're going away, Shelby. Okay,
it's fine. We get we'll go away from the phones.
(25:13):
We'll go to the people here while we work on that.
Keep Shelby on hold. She's on her way here. I've
heard traffic isn't great, and that's why I had to say.
Anybody who came here early enough, I know it was
terrible setting your alarms for the threes, but then you
didn't have to sit in any sort of traffic to
get here, which is a lot better than that. All right.
I have done this before where people have said to me, Oh,
if you're gonna be in Salem, you have to talk
(25:34):
to this person or that person. The response that I
got from, Hey, you have to check in with Eric
from Salem was crazy, as respectfully as possible, the first
Dominican man we've ever had on the show.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Don't say that. Don't start it off like that.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
That was rude. Eric, Tell everybody about this. It's American food.
With a touch of Dominicans. Ah, so us tell us
all about this, because you have a brick and order
that's going to open up on Friday Halloween at the Willows,
which I know is an iconic spot here and a surprise.
Actually stop it, I will tell me. I'm sorry, it's
(26:13):
coming soon. Everything.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Yeah, it's around the corner.
Speaker 9 (26:15):
So we're gonna open on on Halloween and then I'm
gonna have two grand openers Halloween in the first.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Okay, because of traffic, the people that can't make it
on thirty first.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
They can come up multiple different grant openings. So some
people literally wrote me. They were like, we're so excited
he's coming on. I bought his food from his car.
Speaker 9 (26:34):
It's a long story.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
I know you say it's a long story, but you
have to give me the corner from the health department.
So what are you gonna come? What are you gonna
tell me? What do you have for me?
Speaker 9 (26:44):
So I was supposed to bring chimneys, but we are
here at Rocco Funds.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Yes we can't, No, we can't do that. We can
open it's it's a possibility. I Santi has never brought
me any sort of Dominican food, so I would love
to try.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Okay, Well, the problem is my mother doesn't live here anymore,
so there's nobody home to cook because my wife is
white and are cooking.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
It is horrible.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
You know how to cook.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
I don't know how to cook. No, not mongoo.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
He doesn't even know what. I know how much about
mongoo as he does? Okay, but no I know. I
again the feedback from you. The people of Salem love
you your You know your food must be good. But
I did hear you say earlier it's your wife who
cooks the it's the wife.
Speaker 9 (27:23):
Yes, yes, yes, it's the way I know how to
cook as well. Oh, I just I'm more of the
face of the company, you know.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
So somebody goes to the Willows with the the next
week or two they go to your spot. They can
only get one thing.
Speaker 9 (27:33):
No, no, no, we have a good we have pretty
good sized items and.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
We're gonna have no I know.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Okay, that was it. That was like a figure of speech,
like say, I could only get one thing. The chimney.
Speaker 9 (27:44):
They know that the chimney.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Oh, they know that very famous. Yes, Dominican burgers. He's
a beef patty and sliced stur fried cabbage.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
No, it is really good and you should get it
with everything too.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
You should put Joanne onto that can't handle that.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
It's a very white thumbing.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Well, Eric, people would have fallen and they want to
come to the opening. Where do they? We're the Underscore Kitchen.
I need two that's on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
One more time, E Underscore Kitchen.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
I need two E Underscore Kitchen ninety two. There you
have it, Eric, Thank you for checking in with it.
Why want to play a song?
Speaker 3 (28:11):
All right?
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
That is six one seven ninety three one one nine
four five will work on the phones. I know. It's
just a crazy set up here, first time doing this.
We're live from Rockefellers in Salem. Call us if you're
here and you want to check in as well, we'll
do that right now. Good morning, it's actually did you
have a morning show? Live from Salem's actually the Gambit
Morning Show Live from Rockefellas in Salem. You know there
(28:36):
was a time where we were live from Disney, and
I gotta say this might beat that out. We're sitting
in a restaurant looking across the street at the iconic
Witch statue. I mean this is this is legendary stuff
for us.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
I think it's better than that because we're actually in
costume too, and you're feeling the spooky vibes here.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Yeah. Well listen there, we had Mickey Mouse. Here, we
have the good Witch. Well we're gonna get to in
a second, but first let's try this again. We're checking
in six one seven, now nine, three one four five.
I see your DMS. Bear with us. This is the
first time for us. We're trying everything. Shelby is in
the car. Wait here, Shelby, can you hear me now, babe? Hi,
(29:12):
I can hear you? Can you hear me? Hell?
Speaker 5 (29:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (29:14):
We did it all right? Where are you house traffic?
Speaker 3 (29:17):
Talk to me?
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Hi. We're fourteen minutes away, two and a half miles,
so we're gonna be pulling up right at it all right?
Are you just in costume?
Speaker 5 (29:28):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (29:30):
We can't wait to see it. We have some good
ones in here, some of which are a little inappropriate.
There may or may not be an aerola situation happening here.
I'm not mine. I'm actually very that. And then of
course Santi's which is also uncomfortable for a lot of people,
so Shelby. We will see you when you get here, babe.
We're excited. Sounds good, thank you. We're fifteen minutes away
from the bar being opened as well. I'm not telling you,
(29:51):
I'm not I'm not reminding that for myself. I'm just
saying for everyone that's here, fifteen minutes, the bar is
gonna open. Listen. I think there's a lot of people
who come to Salem and they expect just straight up horror.
You know. They're like, I'm gonna walk down the street,
I'm gonna see Pennywise with a bloody balloon and chuck
you with a bloody knife. But I don't think people
realize you can have other experiences here. And the last
(30:13):
time I was here, I brought the kiddos, Yes, and
I went to visit the good Witch, and she is
here dressed in her beautiful pink and her pink hat
and signed before we talked to her. How how I
couldn't talk more highly of my experience with her.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
It was the experience that she kept talking about, not
just you in just the entire shop, but it was
the experience she had and her daughter had an amazing time,
and she was raving.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
A lot of people will say, well, I can't bring
my kids to Salem, And what would you say to that?
Speaker 7 (30:39):
You absolutely can bring your kids to Salem. So we
offer a safe and wonderful environment for kids that focuses
on the magic of self love.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Yeah, and there's nothing better than that. So sometimes you
meet people and you just can tell right away they're
going to be good with kids, and you can feel
that energy when we were in there, I'll be honest
with everybody. Leyla had to poop and she would remember
this and she we were just working on it, you know,
and she was scared and the good Witch was like,
you can go into my pink body and there are
(31:12):
right away. And she got so comfortable that she pooped
at the pink at the good Witch's house. And it
was you just right away. You got right down to
her level, You coached her up. You just you're meant
for this. There's spells that you can do there, and
there's makeup and there's I just I again, I had
to have you on because I think people are just
stuck in this. It's just the wore and the gore
here in Salem, and there's so much more.
Speaker 7 (31:33):
Yes, there definitely is so much more. And I really
like to focus on the magic that Salem has its
kind of like special spot and kids need to experience that.
They really need a place they do.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
And you know, obviously we think of essex and we
think of like the craziness and the walking, and there
is that element to it too, but there's all of
these other things. If people want to find you, if
they want to book an experience, where do they do that?
Speaker 7 (31:56):
So Goodwitchessalem dot com all our socials are at Goodwitches Salem.
You can come in any time during store hours for
an experience, mix a potion, decorate a hat, a broom
which represents your journey in life and your hat is
your purpose, so everything has a meaning.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Like this is late, but you forgot to mention you
can go in there and take a magical poop.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Oh you can. You can visit my pink pot which bathroom? Yeah,
I'm very high to find really are I love it?
We can't say too much, you can't. You also have
a ton of merch and I walked out of there
with a ton. We spent. We spent, but we have
the best time and I can't hype it up more.
If you're all the way here, if you're in the
(32:39):
car and you're thinking, I'm bringing the kids, what am
I going to do with the good witch is available,
and you just you really make it, for lack of
better words, magical for the kids. Thank you.
Speaker 7 (32:48):
And we're all year round, so come visit me all
year round.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Fun Fact always says the best time to come to
Salem is in the summer.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
Absolutely, the craziness of all these crowds, so best time
of the year.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
It's great. All right, Well, thank you so much for
coming on BIB six one seven nine three one one
nine four five six one seven nine three one one
nine four five. We're checking it on you, your life,
your world. You don't have to be on the way
to see us in Rockefellers, as much as we would
love that. But if you're in the car, you have
a story to tell us, you want to ask us something,
tell us something. You know how it goes. It's the
(33:19):
check outs from which city corning? Hi, everybody, Good morning,
Ashley and the gam In Morning Show Live from Rockefellers
in Salem. It's just never gonna get old. Saying that,
you know, I feel bad for Kevin the owner, because
I'm gonna be like, we're doing this all time, every
single year. We'll be back.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Can I tell you that the energy in here are
starting to build?
Speaker 1 (33:38):
No, it is, you can feel it. You know why?
The bar is about open? The bar the bar gets
ready to open. That's when the vibes get high. I
can't wait. All the bosses are here though, until ten.
And if you see me with an orange juice, don't
smell it. Mine's your business. Amy is in Halifax. Hi Aim,
good morning, good morning, Good morning, clan.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
Hi damn.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Well listen, we wish you were here with us. You're not,
but I hear we have a little bit of relationship drama.
Do tell yees?
Speaker 2 (34:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (34:11):
So hold on please yeah, sure, I'm not doing anything.
Speaker 5 (34:16):
Okay, okay, so we're doing We are bored.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (34:21):
Okay? This is an unusual situation, so kind of a
little bit.
Speaker 8 (34:26):
But we met.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
His name is Daniel. Daniel, duego and.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Do not say names? What do you give me a
social don't? We don't have to say his name. But okay,
we'll call him Danny. His name is Danny.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
Yeah, Daniel. I called him Dan. I called him Daniel,
but he liked Dan, but he said, don't call me Daniel,
call me Dan are what we called him.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Man tell me about the problem please, Okay.
Speaker 5 (34:54):
So we met at Adult Say program in Quincy Atlantic
House in Quincy and he woorked go tea and I
like that very much. I thought that was very handsome
and sexy of him. And we dated for about I
would say a year over a year or around that time,
(35:16):
and we kissed. We we kissed like normal kisses, but
we also French kiss so that was nice. I thought
that was very nice to him.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:27):
Yeah, we sang together. Yes, oh yeah, well it gets,
it gets, then it goes downhill. So listen to this.
So we sang together. What we sang together a singing time,
you know, they had like singing time with a guy
that came in with a guitar and we sang together.
(35:47):
We held hands together all the time. He wanted to
put me into a like there was like a little
section in the in the hall area where they have
like a laundromatic area. Yeah, and it's like a dock area,
you know. He wanted to put me in that area.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
And I'm gonna let me help you out a little
bit here. So we go from we got the we
got the pet kisses, we got the French kissing, we
have the man that comes with the guitar, and you
guys sing together. If somebody were to ask you, just like,
why did you guys break up? How would you answer that?
Why did you break up?
Speaker 5 (36:19):
This is why? This is why we broke up.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
This is that we broke up.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
So I thought I had her there, just like Quinn.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Was he mean to you? He wasn't mean to me.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
But he always asked me for money for tobacco. And
I said, that's okay, because.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
I don't even here anymore. Taking your money for tobacco
lose up?
Speaker 5 (36:48):
No, But I told him, I said, listen, it's better
than cigarettes. So I said, I'll give you money because
it's better than cigarettes that you're smoking. It's a tobacco,
or it says. But then it got too much. Then
it got you know, you're always asking me for money
and you're not giving me money back. You're not paying
me back, so I said, But I said, I'll let
it slide for a little bit.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Well then oh there's more, but okay, well, then tell
me one more thing.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
My birthday came up. My birthday came up and he
did not give me nothing, anything at all. Nothing. So
then my roommate said, drop them, So I dropped him because.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
You go back. Thank God for your roommate. I'm glad
to know you got somebody else in your corner. You
have us and you have your roommate. Once he was
stealing all the money for tobacco. Bad worse is not
getting you a birthday present. That's just blasphemy. And I'm
so glad you got rid of him. And now you're
on the market.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
Yeah, and I like someone else right now, I'm in
a different day program and moving on, Yeah, moving on,
moving I like someone else.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
And yeah good.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
His name is Ishmael.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
And I'm gonna let you go before you say names
of everyone you know. Amy, thank you so much for
the call. What's wild about that? In that seventy five
thousand minute call, her love life is more exciting than AJ's.
I like, that's that's the upsetting thing.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Because Amy has an open mind as she loves love.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
You are right, she does. She know what. She doesn't
love tobacco. That's what we've come to find out, all right,
you know what, Like I said, I want to make
sure that you guys in the car are also getting
the love because there's so much here at Rockefellers, and
I know your bum that you miss it, so we're
gonna hook you up. Twenty minutes, we're doing a big
one CARDI B two for one special with Spooky World tickets.
We'll do that again in just about twenty minutes. I
(38:38):
went up to everybody in this building and said it,
but I can't say it enough. I appreciate each and
every single one of you, and I all of course
appreciate all of you that are listening in the car.
Good morning, Hi, Hello, We are live from which city
at Rockefeller's. Good morning,
