Speaker 1 (00:00):
Especially ended jam.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
In Morning show and you need to know.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
We got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbacks
you haven't any more five Monday, October twenty seven. And
thank god the Patriots beat the Browns because had they
taken an l to that team, we would have had
a lot more problems than what. Okay, thirty two to
thirteen against the Browns. And my dad being one of

(00:26):
the biggest Browns fans, and the man hit me up
yesterday morning and was like, let's place the bet. No, no, Dad,
I'm not steel Like you want to play a bet,
just send me on a hundred bucks right now. I'm
not playing these games.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Way. Why is he still betting on that pour team?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Sadness, It's called sadness. Drake May showed off yesterday. He
looks great out there. He looks like he's having fun.
He's confidence to Von Diggs grabbing his first TV as
a Patriot. He leads the team in catches, so that
I think that's why it was confusing for all of us.
But he hadn't scored yet. Now he can finally say
he crossed the line as a Patriot. That puts them
at sixty two, six and two. Here's Drake May after

(01:00):
the game.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
The fans have been awesome all season. It's been really
cool to see different from from last year to this year. Man,
it's been a it's been a journey and you know,
they've been through it and they've been you know, the
fans have been through it the last couple of years,
so it's just new credit to them.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
What are you's saying here is the fans are better
when we win. Absolutely, the fans are nicer when we win.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
And this feels really good because we haven't felt this
in about five seasons at the very least, and it
feels awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
It's exciting. They're back in action Sunday at one against
the Falcons. A little fun fact for you so you
can get to work and sound smart to everybody. Today
is a sports equinox, since we're talking about the NFL
uh Monday Night Football happening tonight, the Commanders are taking
on the Chiefs, NBA games are happening, NHL games are happening,
and a Major League Baseball game, Game three tonight of

(01:48):
the World Series between the Blue Jays and the Dodgers
meeting all four of the professional team.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Like Major Sports League will.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Be playing at the same time. They call it the
sports Equinox. The Cells will be playing tonight as well,
and let's pray, you know, let's really bet thereo for three.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
But we can't be surprised, right, We aren't shocked. They
lost their best player for n.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I had, but they still are a good team. So
I'm a little I am a little upset. I think so.
I think so. All right, Jamie Fox goes off at
a Halloween party. You've probably seen the headlines. I so
essentially what it is is it's a Halloween festival organized
by his now seventeen year old daughter. She started it
when she was thirteen. She kind of celebrates Halloween plus

(02:31):
her birthday. They got like artists, they got rise, there's games.
It's just this massive festival. And they invited Glorilla to
come perform. She's up there, she's performing, probably for free.
He says in this that there was no admission price,
so that people came in for free. You gotta believe
it was a lot of annalist the seventeen year old
daughter's friends, meaning we had a young crowd. Somebody throws

(02:53):
a bottle at Glorilla while she's performing Jamie Fox not
happy rightfully, So.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
God damn, why would you trust something at the stage? Man,
this is for free.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I'm so disappointed, y'all don't deserve this. I'm disappointed. It's
giving father to children, you know what I mean. He's
probably you know what, you little kids, You're spoiled. You
don't deserve this, your throat anybody that thinks I'm gonna
throw a glass bottle at an artist during show. This

(03:38):
happens more frequently than you would think, and it's just
so sad.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I used to do stuff like this, but with ice,
not with bottles. And I think in the moment, you
don't think it's actually gonna hit the person, and when
it does, you're kind of shocked too. So it's like, by.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
The way, you know why that doesn't shock me. There
was a time where Santia and I were in a
VIP section that was above a lot of other people,
and he told me to take a glass bottle of
grey goose and drop it into the crowd. That that
that is who that man is to his core.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
But you were considering it, the look on your face.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
But I was hammered, so I was like, Oh, that
might be funny, and then I came back to reality.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
We were two seconds away from doing it a bad jail. Yeah,
like that would have hurt somebody bad for sure.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
All right, let's wrap this thing up with a couple alert.
We got a new couple and we got an old
one that I guess is rekindling. MGK and Megan Fox.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Are back on back together.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah, I guess they've been spending every single night together
because of a little saga blade. Can we take a
second for that? Though?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Saga blade is dumb, but I'm not surprised because that's
what celebrities.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Do, Saga blade. Anyways, they've been spending every night together
because of saga and they have yet to label it,
but it does seem like she's taken him back for
the I don't know, fourth or fifth time at this point. Maybe,
But what.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Are they They're they're tethered souls or something like that, souls,
whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
And then we have Katie Perry and Justin Trudell.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
This one. I was not prepared for this eleven like
no nowhere. Yeah, But at the same time, he's a
good looking guy and she's single, so it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Right, just loves Canadian bacon. She's just really into that.
And there you have it. That's three things you need
to know for Monday, October twenty seventh. The talkbacks are
an amazing easy way to access the show. And of course,
like I told you, you can also win a grand
just by listening down the free iHeartRadio app, listen to
jammin whilst on it, and listen for that keyword coming

(05:35):
up at nine am. Make sure you hit jam a
ninety four five dot com to enter mornings and morning
show Good Morning Boston's number one for hip hop jam
in ninety four or five. Hi everybody this morning. Big
week Halloween week. Yeah, every year, my dad usually comes

(05:57):
and spends Halloween with us. I tried so hard to
convince him to come this past weekend, just because we
had the live show and we had but twelve parties
in Marshville to go to, and then of course the
Browns played the Pats yesterday. I was like, oh, how
exciting would it be for us to watch together? But
he he would not do it, Like he just was
really adamant about not coming this weekend and really wanted

(06:18):
to be there for Halloween. And I was chatting with
the fireman about it, I said, can you believe that?
Like it's we're stacked. We have all these events and
he just the fireman reminded me that I am no
longer number one oh in my dad's life, which you know,
that's that's that I have. That was a tough pill
for me to swallow my brother, and now I have

(06:39):
to swallow it again for my dad because they have
women in their lives now, not just me.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
And that bothers. You huh.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I don't love it. I don't love when I can't
just like do this and he's like, okay, but now
you know he has he has this woman in his life.
And here's the thing. I didn't know if it was
going to be serious or not. And and yesterday is
when I was really like, I took a step back
and thought to myself, Okay, this is this is something.

(07:08):
And here's why, well we know, you know the last
update I gave you guys on my dad have I
don't want to call her a girlfriend yet, but here's
why you're gonna be like, ash, that's a girlfriend. I'll
get to it, but I don't know. He doesn't call
her that. He'll say my friend or my buddy. But
first off, stop, my brother saw my dad's emails and
let's just say they're active.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
They're doing some wild things.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
With a particular let's just say this, with a particular
pill that Santi loves. Yeah, okay, so anyway, but you
know that that doesn't insinuate that they're serious. That's just
like they are having fun.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Fine. I wake up this morning from a text from
her with a list and she's like, hey, I know
you and your dad had gone back and forth. My
dad has a doctor's appointment at nine forty five this morning,
and she said, I have written down all of the
things I know you have spoken to your dad about
that you want him to ask the doctor. I'm going

(08:04):
to go to the appointment and I will make sure
that all of these things on your list get asked.
Here's the things that you have mentioned. Is there anything
else that you want me to ask? So, I mean,
number one, I'm extremely grateful I were on air at
nine to forty five. I usually I'm on speakerphone at
these appointments because it's just been me and my dad
and my brother kind of handling them. He's getting older,

(08:25):
he's had some traumatic brain injuries in his life. So
you know that these are important, and she's now going
to go and make sure that the things that I'm
worried about are being voiced to the doctor because my
dad will not.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
But I feel like we've crossed a threshold of like
that's pretty serious.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
It's absolutely is. But I think it's good for him
to have some companionship like that too, right.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
It is. And it makes me feel good that you
know there's somebody just there checking in, because there was
a lot of times where you know, I would call
my brother and just say that I'm worried, like there's
nobody that we can of course, his friends would go
over there anytime we needed, but to know that he
does have some sort of person in his life that
can go to an appointment like this at nine and

(09:08):
forty five on a Monday and assist his knife. But
I'm over here, like, oh, oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
But this is it? Like have you met her in
person yet or just through the phone and through like
FaceTime I assume possibly or text?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
She was a figure that was in his life years
and years ago.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Oh I see, so you've met her before? I have Okay,
and do we like her loved her cause her expert.
Your dad's ex was crazy, she's nuts.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
That was the one that I called the cops on
multiple times. Yeah, that was the one who his ex, remember, guys,
was going into his car. She knew that my dad
would leave his wallet in his car. That's another problem
for another day. And she would go into his wallet
and take all of his cash and write like I'll
get you next week and obviously never pay.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
So that woman, Yeah, I called and said, if you
do it again, I'm calling the cops. It's like, really,
that's so.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I don't know if this is out of the question,
but do you think it will that would ever get
married again?

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Absolutely not he And that's one thing he's he's told
us that's in sweeper little like that's never been in Remember,
that was one thing that him in foreign or he's
had in common. But he was never gonna do it again.
My dad the same way. So I think anybody that
in his life he meets. But I think now we're
at like you know, he's older, this different stage in
his life, and it just again makes me feel good
that he's not doing it completely alone. My dad's the

(10:27):
social butterflies if he's never really alone because he's out
golfing or he's at the bar. My dad will sit
at a bar by himself for hours. But to know
again that I have somebody that can go to these
appointments with him, it makes me feel good. But it
also is like this is far more serious than I
would have thought, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah, you know, I'm.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Just so over the top protective of everybody in my family,
you know, and my mother. She doesn't even attempt to date,
so I haven't had to have that feeling with her.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
But why is that, though? Because I feel like my
mom's a good catch, you know, she seems nine people.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Came up to me at the live event and they
were like, we loved chatting with your mom. It's so
nice to see her in person. She's nicer than what
you say, you know.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I mean, it's funny though she made some comments about
certain things and like that's the arry that I love.
But overall she's super sweet.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Though she is, she doesn't even like her life revolves
around my kids, and she just has never she had
I remember her dating when I was I don't know,
maybe like high school age, a little bit younger. A
few dates, but never anything serious. Yeah, I can't even
picture it.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I can't even picture it getting it.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
I mean, I don't know about all that upset me.
You're trying to poke the bear.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
I mean, it's just impressive that your dad he's still
going he's like seventy, right, right, he's still going strong
with a little help from a friend.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
That's I mean, yeah, So that's what's going on nine
five today. She's going with it. They're probably in the
car right now, so.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
You don't have to be on the phone. So that's
kind of good, right.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
I get emotional because I'm happy that again she's going
to be in there. She has the list, everything will
be asked because if I couldn't call, so that means
I wouldn't have been able to get on the phone,
meaning he would never have asked all the important things.
But he is seventy, and he's older, and again his
memory is not what it used to be, and it
scares us, me and her. So what do we call her?

(12:24):
He doesn't want He calls her buddy.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
It's his girlfriend. Right, we can all say that, right,
I think we can, because he won't do it, but
we can acknowledge it.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
But she hasn't said that either.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
But how do you know that they probably they might
talk about it amongst themselves. Maybe he doesn't want to
say that to you guys.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
She did tell me that in his apartment she has
left a toothbrush and that she has taken down any
photos that his ex bought him that were like up
in the because you know, my dad doesn't care. He
would he probably has had photos of him and his
exes up in the apartment because he doesn't.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yeah, she had the kids, she does what Ana stepsister? Okay,
can we now we're official?

Speaker 3 (13:05):
But don't you think I'm being better about this? Called growth? Everybody?
I'm growing up show. Good morning. Bostin's number one for
hip hop. I am in ninety four or five. Hi, everybody,
good morning, I have I am Obviously I'm not drunk,

(13:29):
but it was just, I mean, Friday happened. We were
in Salem all day. Imagine me having to get a
ride home from my mother at the end of the
day on Friday, and she's my d d And I'm
just because as soon as the show is over, as
soon as it hit ten, I had an espresso martini
in my hands, like the very second and then we

(13:49):
drank the remainder of the day and so that my
mom had a DD me home.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
But I talked to you five o'clock when you called me,
you didn't sound that bad.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
No, I wasn't, no, because I think I kind of knew,
you know. I only took one shot, which for me
is actually like that's winning numbers. And then I went
out again on Saturday because we had the downtown Marshfield
trigger treating. And then I went to a party and
there was an after party and I was drinking Peach
mcgilla gutties and I'll vomit even thinking about it. I
have a problem. But No, Friday was crazy. It was amazing.

(14:22):
If you came, Thank you so much. You know, it's
hard for me to put into words how like grateful
I am that everybody came. And you know, I create
relationships with people. You guys listen to the show, and
we're so appreciative, we really are. We went out after
with some people that listened to the show, one in

(14:43):
particular who like calls all the time, and I had
to call you while I was out. You had left,
you went home, smart man, and I was just like,
I don't really know what to do because there's like
a situation happening here.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
They would get in like of hand, I think is
the way.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Yeah, things were getting out of like things were getting uncomfortable,
Like the person was saying things that were just a
little bit inappropriate, and I my friends didn't really know
how to respond because they were trying to like go
off my lead, but this person was being really aggressive.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
I've experienced this like in the past, like a lot.
I think for what we do on the air, we
entertained for four hours, right. There are storylines that come
up on the air that we highlight in our lives
that are funny in the moment outside of here. Sometimes
they are tough for people around us to understand and comprehend.
So when certain things get brought up like that that
we talk about on the air, the context in the

(15:38):
situation doesn't really fit, no, so they don't hit as well.
And when they get brought up, often enough people get upset. Yeah,
and it's stuff with like we're trying to say without
saying it. But like again, we see a lot of
things on the air and they don't always work in
a homes.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, and I think that you know, my friends were
like you're doing. You were doing a very good job
of not being like mean to this person, but this
person and was just getting really drunk and being like nasty. Yeah,
And I didn't want to hurt their feelings, but I
also was like, it's time for you to stop drinking
and go home, and trying to figure that all out
whilst like try to have fun with my It was
a lot.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Here's an example. Back in the day when I used
to do a lot, like a lot of stunts. One
time they buried me on a beach and it was
funny like in the moment, but they we had somebody
there who started kicking sand in my face because they
thought they could treat me the way they did on
the air. Right, You and I have a thing on
the radio, and it works right, Right, if somebody else
starts making fun of me for my teeth and all
the stuff, in certain situations, it's fine outside of here.

(16:34):
Maybe I'm not going to take it that way. Yeah,
when this guy was kicking sand in my face, I
cornered him after it, and I threatened to murder him.
And I'm not even joking. I was like, do not
do that to me ever again. Because in the moment
where I'm getting buried on the beach as a stunt,
not an opportunity for somebody from the outside to kick
sand in my face.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Yeah, And I think, like a good example is, you
know my husband, like the fireman. You know, he wanted
so badly to be there to support me, but also
he's a shit. He's a shy guy. He doesn't want
the attention, you know, he doesn't. It's just not his thing.
So he's like, Hey, I have to be there because
I'm so proud of you and I want to be there.
But you know some people were this person in particular,

(17:12):
going up to her, she was basically calling him a
bitch for not forcing me to have his last name,
like things that we joke about on here that aren't necessary,
like that, he's not going to think that's funny. Like
it was just it got uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
It's like my wife stopped going to these because the
last thing she wants to hear in a live event
is like, oh, you're taking the viagras. Do you guys
can have sex some night up right? And doing stuff
like that.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
And let me just say, like everybody else was being
so cool, it was like this one off situation. This
one person that would like wouldn't stop. Everybody else was
being so great, so nice, so gracious, buy and dranks
all the things like it was awesome. But yeah, she
just she just wouldn't stop. It was it was. It
was actually like upsetting.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
No, I've been there before. It's crazy. I saw you
take take the turn with a group of people. I'm like, wow,
that poor girl is in for it. And by a
poor girl, I meant you specifically.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
I know, and it's like I never I am just
it like pains me to think of hurting anybody's feelings.
But I did at one point have to say, like
I am give me your phone because I am putting
in you in an uber because you're now starting to
be like mean to people. She was even saying things
about you and you weren't there, and I had to
shut it down multiple times, like I was like, you're
not going to talk about him like that because a

(18:31):
he's not here and be here making things up.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Oh yeah, that's the consistency. Listen, ninety nine percent of
the people out there are are amazing, are so great.
Oh first one percent to act crazy.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Because we The crazy thing was was we were out
my friends and I and my family. We were out
with a bunch of people that listened to the show,
and everybody was amazing.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
It was this It's just one bad egg, rotten egg.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Just literally, we're all laughing, we're all having fun, and
she's like, you're a bitch, and I'm like, wait, what
I mean? Just like cuckoo lamb. But anyways, I'm sure
we could all summize. But you know, it's just it was.
It was a time on Friday when the drinks start flowing,
people start acting crazy. Trust me, I've been on the

(19:14):
other end of.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
That dashing show.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Good Morning Bostin's number one for hip hop jam in
ninety four or five. All right, that's going to do
it for us. The amount of you dming me. Were
you just talking about this person? Were you just everyone's
trying to guess who we were just talking about. I
would I would never say, because I wouldn't. I again,
don't want.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
To hurt anything people guessing right.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Some are, some are, some are, But anyways, that is
going to do it for us. We're getting out of
here or like just days away from Halloween. I haven't
never This is a big statement of mine. I have
never been more excited to show you guys the Halloween
photo shoot from this year, and penny Wise was up there.
I'm not I was so excited to show you guys,

(20:02):
penny Wise. That was what Leila and I did this year.
I mean, everybody's included, and I think that I may
have out done myself. I'm so excited.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
And Wednesday's the day.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
I'm thinking Wednesday, Wednesday, gearing up for Halloween. Midway through
the week, A little little something something for you.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
I want to say it so bad.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
You're not going to You're not going to. Yeah, it does,
all right, shout out.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Yeah, A shout out to Johnson, Rhode Island, all that
fall sports of the high school all made the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
This is insane.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
That's crazy, all of them, all my playoffs. I will
win States.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
I guess that's good for you guys. That's really cool.
All right? If I missed anything at Ashley Feldman to
ease on the Ashley. We will talk to you tomorrow.
It's the spooky week. We are one step closer to Halloween.
So exciting.
