It's Tuesday, arguably one of the worst days of the week,
but it's Halloween. Is I just think Tuesday is just
you're stuck. Like it's Tuesday right in a halfway. Well, Monday,
you're coming off the weekend. You might have a little
bit of energy. Tuesday is just like but.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
I would say that Tuesday you once step closer.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Tuesday you're stuck. Wednesday we can start having a conversation. Thursday,
we're excited. Friday is Friday, but it is Halloween week,
so that's exciting.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Which I feel like makes the week cruise by a
bit faster.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It does because I think everyone's looking so forward to
it because obviously Halloween Friday and then Christmas on Saturday,
which is dope, but it is exciting, and then we'll
stop down one day for Turkey, and then we'll move
right back along.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Thanksgiving. Man, the Pilgrims came here, half of them died
and the others stole the Native American lands, and then
you know, we just celebrate.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
About it for Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Somebody passed the stuff, and you know what, it's the
big conversation.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Now, what are you putting out the tree.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I asked my wife this, and I I asked her
if we were going to do it this weekend. She
said no, it's too early. She usually does to day
after Thanksgiving. But I feel like maybe two weeks into
November is probably like the right time.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I think so too middle November, because it just brings joy.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
There's something about having that tree in there.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
But I'm also you know how I am like the
thirty first Halloween woo whoo. The second I wake up
on Saturday morning, those skeletons are coming down. Really, I
don't play games with that like we've but same about Christmas.
By jan one, it'll all be gone.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I can do without all the pumpkins that are in
my house. And then I don't really know she decorates
traditionally for thanks because what do you usually do? Do
you keep the pumpkins up?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I have some pumpkins and like some like stuffed little
turkey things, but I usually don't. Honestly, I might have
just the tree up in the background, and then.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
All the dish wear. Oh yeah, because we host I
love stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
The hosting of the holidays. I am just over. I'm
done with them all now, I asked the other day.
I don't know. I think we're gonna go to our parents' house,
which is just easy because you want to know why,
because you can control when you leave, and that's my
biggest thing. Her family tends to linger more so her
like parents, they just linger. It's tough, but at least
if you're going to somebody else's house, you can leave

whenever you want. You can kind of get an idea,
like we can leave like two hours and we're god.

That is true.

We go to a Christmas Eve party and you're right,
you're kind of the kids start to get whiny or
you just get out of there, but there's also something
to be able to just put them in their beds.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, I know, my kids say I played, so it's different.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
True true, true, yeah, true. Anyways, what's up?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Last night or yesterday? My son had his end of
the year's soccer party and then it was the parents
play against the kids. So last night or yesterday I
found myself playing in a soccer game.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
That's hilarious. Joanne as well.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Joanne, No, she refused to play. I initially started off
the game like, you know, I'm not gonna go crazy
because I don't want to like blow it at knee
or something like that. Next you know, I find myself
scoring goals like a maniac, like pushing over like these
little kids are. I'm not sore today because I stay active,
So it's fine. Yeah, but it was like I got
into it though.

It was a lot of serious like that. Yeah, the
endurance aspect.

It's been my favorite part about it that some of
the yummies were out there too.

I was like, the yies were just running around out there.

Oh, watched the first episode of Welcome to Derry post
that I don't know if it's every show that I watched,
like this is trying to get that like crazy gory factor, Like, oh,
it's gorier than this movie and gorrier.

In the opening scene.

I was so taken aback by the nastiness and the
gore of it, because I really don't go for that
type of horror.

But there is something piquing my.

Interest of knowing how Pennywise became penny Wise, Like the
origin story there of the town of Derry.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Opening scene was so nasty and so.

Gory that I had the the blackout, curtains closed, open
them up because I started to get a little scared.
And in the last scene, something wild happens that it
was very Game of Frones esque, and I just was like,
and only at one.

Episode sounds like incest to me.

No.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
No, I did see some people talking about that show.
They seem to love it. And also I saw somebody
posted like a timeline of all the times that Pennywise
has come back to and they were placing where the
films take place, and also this series. I forgot where
this series takes place, but Derry no, not timing wise
like year oh.

Okay, yeah, I want to say nineteen sixty two or
something like that.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
So according to this timeline, he has been back a
few times.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Oh by the sixties.

Even going back to nineteen oh six I think was
the first time he appeared, and it's every like twenty seven.

Years saying okay, I haven't I don't know.

Yeah, So according to this time that he's come back
a few times.

One thing I'll tell you that I wasn't like really
prepared for was the fact that you don't see him.
He may not appear in this series untill they're saying
maybe the.

There's other things about him. He has other lure, he
can become things, he can become other objects.

But sometimes when they do stuff like that, the payoff
is really good because the build up is like.

like this is going to really put things into perspective

rain on Halloween, which I know a lot of people
have thought. But when you hear what's gonna happen to
Jamaica today, you know what will take a little rain?

We will take a little rain. Because Hurricane Melissa is
slowly moving across Jamaica today. The storm will be the
worst hurricane that the country has ever seen. Melissa is
a Category five hurricane with winds of up to one
hundred and seventy five miles per hour. Parts of Jamaica
can expect up to forty four zero inches of rain

and thirteen foot US surge.

Okay, that is like. People can't understand that because here
we don't deal with hurricanes, but that is massive. We're
also once a storm has passed, we're going to have
to come together and to help out the island because
it's going to be bad.

It's going to be so bad. They're already tracking it
on the news this morning. Three people in Jamaica have
already died in prep of the storm.

Melissa.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
The category five hurricane has already killed three people in
Haiti and one in the dr It is going to
be bad. It will continue to move across southeastern Cuba tonight.
But I mean, if you just look at the news quickly,
there's not a place in Jamaica that's not going to
see a wind gust under one hundred and ten miles

per hour.

Like it's nuts.

We have all we have a lot of Jamaicans in
our town and they're very concerned.

Yeah, I mean, like I said, it's it's going to

So it really does put things into perspective because the
last couple of days, you know, we're all looking at
the forecast here in masks.

Like, oh no, a little bit of rain on Halloween. No,

Paul Pierce has formerly been charged with two criminal charges
stemming from his arrest in la earlier in the month.
You guys remember this, Paul fell asleep.

In his car, like like in the lane.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Truth fell asleep in his car, and he blamed it
on being quote old and tired. The police said once
they got to him in his range drover, he was
just knocked and standstill traffic on the LA Freeway. Again,
he said, I was old and tired. But the police
saw signs of alcohol impairments, so they did, in fact take.

Some blood from him.

He got charged with one count of driving under the
influence of alcohol and one count of driving withero point
eight percent blood alcohol content.

This was just fourteen days after he was taken into custody.

On Spah of that day, there was a guy that
worked here and he fell asleep on Route one and
he said he woke up in the middle lane of
Route one his car stopped.

He wasn't drunk, he was just like not a healthy man.
He just fell asleep. Now listen, is there something of
being old and tired and driving?

This is the true story. Pop fell asleep in a
car wash and he woke up. The people knocking on
like the window and he was in the car wash stuck.

They just just because he was drunk. He was old
and tired, like he was just sleepy.

he doesn't get out early and his appeals don't work,

He could flourish behind bars if he pays the right people,
and like, if the rumors are true, he'll be fine.

that entire time. I think he gets out early.

trying to sleep train is recreate the white noise. Not

got like fifteen different sounds you could use. The thing
turns different colors. Right now, Layla's set where it's a

turns yellow is when she's allowed to leave her.

the hatch is demonic.

got home from my workout, got in a shower, my
husband went to work, and I lay down with my children.
I literally have Julius's, my son's bascinet right next to me. Okay,

you know, I'm trying not to fall asleep because I

start hearing murmuring, murmuring. I start hearing like kitter chatter.
I couldn't understand what it was saying, but I knew
it was coming from the hatchtem. I knew it was well.

went on with my day. My husband at home, I

told him, I said, hey, I was hearing some stuff
from that hatch, sum. I can't understand what it was,
but I was hearing some stuff.

like this, and for the people who believe in ghosts,
this is how the ghost hunter's commune with the other side.
They ask it questions and in the recordings they talked.

is a Halloween related commercial, but the woman's kind of
like doing a seance. She puts on her hatch. The
white noise she makes the hatch red, so it kind
of gives like witchy vampire den type of vibes, you know,
and people are really out.

Here throwing their hatches out.

Hatch sound Machine issued in apology and they were like,
we probably shouldn't have done this commercial in this way.
It's Halloween, guys, and it's like the Reces coming out
and saying somebody was offended that they're in pumpkin shapes
for the month of October like it's Halloween.

But to throw it away and like look at it
as like a demonic thing is a little bit crazy.

So there's a Christian talk like that.

There's a big area of that of TikTok supposedly, and
the Christians in the TikTok have gone I mean this
has gone crazy.

This is a massive thing in like the Mammi world.

Listen, I'm not judging religion or Christians or anything like that,
but that part of TikTok is very judgmental. Yeah, across
the board on everything.

It's gotten so crazy that people are now making parodies.

So y'all are just now finding out that those hatch
machines are demonic. Let me tell you what happened to me.
I had a very similar experience to that lady on
here who told her story. I was sleeping one night.
I could hear the white noise happening, and all of
a sudden, I started here and talking. Now, that lady
on here said that she heard a chitter chatter. What
I heard I would describe more along the lines of
a jibber jabber, like a demonic gibber jabber. I ripped

that thing out of the wall, drug it outside, and
I rebuked it with my twelve gage. My wife was pissed.
Apparently those things cost a lot of money, but I
do not care. I am not having that demonic nonsense
in my house.

The hatch they are pricey, Like, what are we talking?

Speaker 2 (16:44):
I'm looking it up so I can give you the
exact I was going to say, like one hundred bucks. Yeah,
depending on the one you have, Like, for instance, I
have like the Hatch Rest two that's seventy bucks, but
the one from the Devil commercial is one hundred and seventy.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Yeah, like if you're the out that thing, then you
should throw away your Alexis and everything else, right because
it isn't very certain, like not the same thing but
works the same way.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, I mean there. And by the way, there's a
thousand other sound machines that you can get. Some of
them come with the cameras, but the hatch is a
specific one because it has all these features of like
it turns the different colors, Like, she will not leave
her bedroom and I know you use it on your
son too, until the hatch turns yellow.

Yeah, we used to stay in the room. The thing
turned and he was spent out of his room exactly.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
No, that's exactly what she does. She'll lay in the
bed and stare at it.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
The second it turns yellow, she's like, Okay, the sun
is awake, now I can go. The thing could be
whispering demonic things to them. It's staying in the room.
They're trained. It's part of their nighttime routine. But you're
right when you see these, if you believe in it,
when you see these weird paranormal things.

Yeah, the sounds, oh, we do come through in.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
The way, and here's the thing I have heard some
crazy things. Obviously it's TV, it could be made up
in all that stuff. But sometimes when you hear like, wow,
that is wild, and I guess like the paranormal part
of me is like it would make total sense because
maybe they're communing on a frequency that humans can't can't
really hear, but these things are picking them up.

I think what would spook me the most is that
the hatch and certain soun machines are connected to the
Wi Fi, and we know that people can break into
the Wi Fi.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
We've seen these horror stories of that.

But but as long as they're whispering for them to
stay in their bed like I'm.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Cool, until they start saying get out of bed. Now,
you don't need to wait for the light.

Now get up now now now you're trying me. Demons
don't find mom. Now you're trying me.

could be either somebody that stands by the hatch or
you could believe that the hatch is demonic. But is
anybody out here throwing them out because I swear by them.

Put them on the baby registry. If you're mad kam
in ninety four to five traffic.

You're delayed one twenty eighth southbound before the ninety three exit,
and we have massive delays on the expressly southbound just
outside the tunnel because of an accident with all three
lanes are blocked.

You know what we have to do some day sometime
this week, maybe Thursday, leading up to Halloweeness. People call
us with their ghost stories. Every time we do that,
I fallow like they're wild.

But do you but you don't believe in them?

I respect ghosts too much to say I don't believe
in them, because then they'll come for me.

Because some of these stories are incredible, and the last
thing that I want to do is see one, because
I think it would freak me out way too much.

Like you hear the stories about like the toilet paper rolls,
where people put them in certain ways and then they
wake up and they're like, yeah, I'm not. I would
like to say right now, I respect all ghosts.

I have a friend who's a ghost hunter, and he
was on TV four for like a lot of years
and he said he had a he saw one. It
was his reaction. That convinced me, because you cannot fake
that reaction that he said he saw a lady staring
back at him like this with her with like her
hand out, and he like freaks out.

No, I would never be the same after that.

Yeah, but that was his job. Though they were on
TV like finding Ghosts.

I feel like I remember this show.

I don't want her communing with any of my dead.

Friday that while they were searching for her, they discovered
a body. After the autopsy, they did in fact confirm
and identify her as Leah Smith.

It was a double major there at Middlebury College. She
had also been on the swimming and diving team. The
Romont State Police that in a news release that the
medical examiner did examiner did determine that she died by suicide.

Sad to hear, clearly she was dealing with something that
she thought that was the only way out there. I
feel bad for her also for our family.

You really really think about that.

It's just so heartbreaking to think that that is the
only answer that she saw. And I also think about
her dad, who you know, was the first person to
call the police and say something seems off. I haven't
heard from her, and you know they were from California

and what they had for dinner last night. Are you

This is a stage five cleaner. Honestly, there's a part
about this that I'm fearful love. But it really comes
down if I'm attracted to her. Because if I'm attracted

with some of it. Yes, because she didn't show up
at the house. If she wouldn't have done that, that
would have been crazy.

college day with family, and I remember walking into the

oh my god, I'm gonna marry that guy. And I
was with my mom and I didn't say anything to
my mom at the time, but I literally stalked him
all day. I watched where he was going. I went
home from Accepted Students Day that night and I stalked

like added into. And I spent days. Because there was
hundreds of people in this group, I spent days looking
for him. Didn't know his name, obviously, didn't know where
he was from. I was based off of looks and
trying to match up a small Facebook profile picture to
my description, and I finally found him like three days later,

was so excited that I actually just found him, and
he answered back, and thirteen years later we are married,
happily married with three kids.

meeting before school, but we ended up finding out through
like conversation that we ended up being dormed in the
same building. So we saw each other on moving day
