I think the timeline on this is critical to kind

She was in DC on Christmas Eve. There was a snowstorm.
She wasn't able to get back, so she spent a

to Massachusetts. So now she's back home with Brian and
the kids. She spends New Year's Eve here in Massachusetts.
Her and William fast Out her lover, send a text
exchange on New Year's that says Happy New Year. The
next day, he sends her a photo of his kid
skiing and he gets no response from her, and he's like, wait,
this is weird. Now that would put us on the

had a flight to catch back to DC.

So says Brian, we found out that was a lie.

She didn't have a flight till the third. Now, oh,

get an answer. Then his phone starts ringing and it's
Brian Walsh, and Brian Walsh leaves the lover this voicemail.

how I broke up with him. It's petty I did.

Tree Lighting is happening. I'll be there hostess. The most
is six to eight pm. Bundle up, it's gonna be cold,
but it will be extremely festive. I literally took a
look at my calendar for the rest of the month

till Christmas, and it's just Santa sightings, Santa parties, events
after event at your let's throwing the birthday. We get
the big fourth birthday coming up. That's next weekend.

It's at a place called the wolves Den.

about it, is the gift bags for the other kids.

First off, trust me, I've noticed that anytime we go
to a birthday party or a gathering for another kid,

I have to supply gifts for the other kids like
it's not their birthday. It's very confusing to me. And again,
remember I'm this, I'm new to all of this. The
other parties that we've had have been at the house
or just something light. This is our first I come
to this place and we're doing it here. Why am
I providing presents for the other kids.

these parties and one thing I have noticed. Now I'm

parents that do this. There are a large majority of
parents out there this day and age that do not

looking for something to do tonight, the ninth annual Seaport
Tree Lighting is happening. I'll be there hostess. The most
is six to eight pm. Bundle up, it's gonna be cold,
but it will be extremely festive. I literally took a
look at my calendar for the rest of the month

till Christmas, and it's just Santa sightings, Santa parties, events
after event at your let's throwing the birthday. We get
the big fourth birthday coming up. That's next weekend.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
It's at a place called the wolves Den.
Speaker 7 (20:39):
Yeah.

Well it's yeah, they just you put the kids in
a room at a wolf and you it's like Hunger Games.
So second, no, it's like a massive Bounty House thing.

You rent it out and you get like an hour
and a half and the kids just have a free
for all.

But they love it.

So it's a cool spot. It's like the birthday spot
in the South Shore. So we're doing it there Unicorn theme.
And so I'm doing my best to kind of while
all this other stuff is happening, you know, get ahead
of what I need to do for the birthday party.
And one of which, and my mom's been on me
about it, is the gift bags for the other kids.

Oh yeah, this is such a racket, Like what.

Yeah, so what party you confuse about? Because I can
explain this to you, and it's annoying.

First off, trust me, I've noticed that anytime we go
to a birthday party or a gathering for another kid,
Layla leaves with like more toys, yeah than I've ever
like in all these bags.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
And I'm like, what is this?
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Now it's my turn, I'm hosting the party, and so
I have to supply gifts for the other kids like
it's not their birthday. It's very confusing to me. And again,
remember I'm this, I'm new to all of this. The
other parties that we've had have been at the house
or just something light. This is our first I come
to this place and we're doing it here. Why am
I providing presents for the other kids.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
I have four kids. I've been to a lot of
these parties and one thing I have noticed. Now I'm
gonna try to explain this and speak up for the
parents that do this. There are a large majority of
parents out there this day and age that do not
like to tell their kids no. So when they go
to the party, the kids that they bring there, they're
upset because they're seeing one person get a gift cake,
(22:19):
all these things. So it's so so it's for these
kids who are babied then throw the throw of these
fits and their parents can just walk out with the
gift for them.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
So they're honest. I couldn't make sense, but you're right.
Speaker 6 (22:31):
That makes everybody is included and everybody feels too.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
Little Joey isn't sad because Leila got all the gifts.
Little Joey is leaving them gift bag.
Speaker 6 (22:41):
That's also why when it comes to youth sports is
a major problem. That's why everybody gets a trophy so
people don't feel left out. But you know what, the
unfortunate thing is the world is not like that. So
when they become adults, they're gonna go to work and
be like, why didn't I get a raised, Why didn't
I get a promotion? And this is the problem visit
the red bar.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yes, oh listen.

And the thing is all the people we invited I
love them and I love their kids shockingly, so I'm
happy to do it. But it's just like one extra
thing that I have to add to the list. And
it's it's wild and it's stupid stuff, right, it's like.

Slime and candy. But you have to do it. I
would be It would be bad if I didn't do it.
You have to do it.
Speaker 6 (23:23):
It's a nice thing to do. And I do understand
that part. And all the kids are happy, so that's
the positive. Have you dealt with and or have you
checked if any of those kids are gluten free?

Right, because that's an entirely like different thing.

pizza for Stephanie because she's gluten free.

Stephanie's not eating. I don't know what to type that.
I didn't even think well, because I know there's like
the peanut butter.

I understand it completely.

Yeah, I don't want anybody blowing up. Yes, you know, and.

Most of those places are very good with the peanuts stuff,
but the gluten free stuff and all that.

My mother wants to make some sort of dessert thing
to put in the bags. I guess I got to
make sure there's no peanuts in those. Damn the levels
of this.

But also, you should make a couple of gluten free
like options. I'm not kidding, not making you think I'm kidding.
