much it. Everybody else has kindof been able to go out there work
through whatever they're trying to do andwhatever stage they're at. Most of their
top flight starters, really the twoof them that are healthy, Jave and
Framber had a week of not pitchingin games, and then that's why Javier

since we last were with you.No hits in those three innings, or

Katia another three inning outing where hecertainly looked like he was harnessing what he
wants as he moves forward and getsready for whatever role is in front of
him, and again as we sithere today, that role is almost assuredly
as one of the starters the firsttrip through the rotation, whether it's five

But he's done nothing but suggests thisis a spot for me for the time

being. And if and when theygo from four healthy starters to five to
six, to seven to eight,if everybody's healthy, when both Luis Garcia
and Lanspacullor's junior return well, theycan go ahead and figure it out then,
because that obviously would be a tremendouslyawesome problem to have. You might
even feel compelled if things are goingso well and the timeline works out,

that you could utilize some of thatsurplus to not just augment your bullpen,
but maybe augment your team at thetrade deadline. But today is March fourth,

Pat Mahomes and he's quickly ascending tothe greatest quarterback of all time. And

I know Russell Wilson once was betterthan Alex Smith, but he certainly isn't
now. If Russell Wilson today playedquarterback in Kansas City the year they drafted
Mahomes, he would never last tothe whole Ye would be Alex Smith wasn't

was good, because they didn't needPat Mahomes to come in and play for

play there. He would have beena Jet in a heartbeat. Awesome,

but he's waited Jets Wilson than theywere with Zack Wilson. I should say,
yeah, exactly. That's kind ofthe point. Now if he signs
with a team, then his onlyhope of really playing is well, the
team is signing me as team leverage. The same scenario, but now the
team has to trade him. TheJets have to call blank team that has
Russell Wilson and will obviously is heavailable? Can we get him on our

roster? There might be a fewteams like that, so again, not
signing it would be one option.Signing and hoping would be another. And
again looking around the league with howmany this past weekend. We started the
weekend with probably four quarterbacks going inthe first round. We might have gotten

are added to May's Drake May,Jaydon Daniels, and Caleb Williams. Okay,
well, none of those six teamsthat drafted those six quarterbacks should have
Russell Wilson on the team, noneof them in my opinion. And then
there's another twenty that have starting quarterbacksthat they'd rather see on the field than
Russell. So now you got sixteams left again ballparking it, Yeah,

what do those teams really want todo? And why does he make sense
for them? And what role ishe actually playing or who's he standing in
front of? And is a quarterback? You to an eight and nine record?
By the way, what the moneyis he making that needs a quarterback?
Isn't drafting at the top of thedraft because he helped get you six,
seven, eight, nine wins,which you don't really want, right,

I keep hearing from people about JustinFields, like, oh, he
makes no money this year and thenthe fifth year option is a huge jump.

he making next year when you pickup the option, and what's he making

and I'm just overwhelmingly impressed by whatthey were able to do. But

it's actually also true defensively, inwhat Brett Veach has been able to do
to make up for players that theyotherwise would have lost. So you look
at what they have defensively and howThey recently acquired them on Karl Loftis.
Although he's not a tackle, he'san end. He was their first round

slide right in and I think they'llprobably do the same. They have holes,
but they're not really. They don'tstrike me as holes like other teams.
They know what they need. They'regonna use a top draft pick,
whether it's the first or the secondor even the third, on a defensive
tackle when Chris Jones is playing elsewhere, and by week sixteen or week five
of next year, he'll be agood player on the interior of their defense

and they'll be leading the division.And I have that much confidence in what
they do. And personally, Ithink their back end, even with a
very good McDuffie, a second firstround pick they had in the twenty two
draft, as the best team inthe AFC, he's been great. Justin

they lost Lugerius sneed, they'd bereally not very well situated on the back
