Last year before the World Series, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman still took the chance to whine about the 2017 Astros. This year, it's Aaron Boone starting off the season right... He's whining (again). This time, not about the Astros. But, about the Astros hated National League rivals, the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. Boone was upset about the Dodgers trash talk, after beating New York last year in the World Series. It's safe to say, that Adam Clanton and Adam Wexler have had it with these two from the Bronx.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
So he's the Dodgers won.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Yes, some of the Dodgers they bought their championship and
then well now they're really buying a ship.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
But some of the Dodgers had fun with it and
did some trash talking, some of the younger.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
About those in Yankee Stadium and and uh and Aaron
Judge absolutely boots the most.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
You're gonna get your five nothing T shirt.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
I mean, that was so good, Like what did they
expect for the Dodgers to be? Like, oh man, good game.
That was tough for you guys. When Aaron Judge screwed
up that play there.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
They made many many mistakes. That's the gist of why
teams took advantage of me.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Didn't cover first, and he was mad about it.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
So Aaron Boone meeting with the media spring training, let's
get the season off and running, but let's remind you
of what took place last season. They asked him about
some of the spouting off that the Yankees did upon
taking them down and takeing them out and claiming the championship.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Don't like hearing that, you know, you hope the reality is,
you know, we didn't play our best in the series
and they want so, you know, they have that right
to say whatever. Hopefully, hopefully we're in that position next
year and handle things with a little more class. But
you know that the reality is it's a great team.

(01:23):
It's a great organization with a lot of great people
that you know, I happen to know and respect too.
So you know a few people you know sounding off
isn't necessarily how I would want to draw it up.
But they're the champs.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
They have that right, that last part right there. They're
the champs scarboard. They can do what they want. They
can make fun of you when you cry about it.
The next year, they can.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
All laugh like I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
But like between him and bra do you realize Dan
letting you know, if we have that if you think
about last season's postseason run for the Yankees, right, and
they are becoming more and more.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Like the Dallas Cowboys with each passing day.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
This year is our year. This year, Dak Prescott just
did it. They should just start interchanging players. They're all
the same people. Oh, this is our year, We're gonna
do it. Look at the team we assembled this offseason.
Oh man, I know that this this and this and
this and this is standing in our way. Plus you
know our track record is nobody is expecting us to
do anything. But man, look at all these high dollar
contracts that we've given out all these players.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
This is the year we're gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
This is how it started before they played a single
playoff game. This is how no before they played a
single World Series game. So I should probably just let's
relegate it to the World Series. Their general manager was
talking about the already eliminated Astros.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Means a lot.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Man, I hate the fifteen year thing because it doesn't
It completely forgets and discounts that some other organization see
to us when we were all the way in the end.
You know, if you knew what was going on, I
don't think they would be even dancing advancing. So I'm sorry,
that's enough.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, yeah, and we get it and some other organization
Geena Ros.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
He sounds like a dork. That's because that's what he is.
He's so funny.
