There was lots of drama over the last two days including relay mishaps, surprise shared medals and lots and lots of rain ☔️

We get her expert take on a startling Ditaji Kambundji win in the sprint hurdles and an elated Geordie Beamish in the steeplechase.

We had a fantastic evening in the stadium hanging out with some with Athletico Royalty and enjoying the iced wine 🧊 🍷

The action was pretty great as well.

A sensational 10k result gave fan fave Jimmy Gressier a surprise win and the 100m Finals didn’t disappoint with new Champions in both events and a resurgent Jamaica passing the baton to the next generation.

We’ve made it all the way to Tokyo and whilst the jet lag is kicking in we’re here to recap Day 1 along with Trackastic Podcast host and Atheltico royalty Chris Brown Sport. 

Golds from fan fave Evan Dunfee and a resurgent Ryan Crouser had us cheering, whilst Beatrice Chebet’s dominant kick finish outpaced all of her rivals as usual.

Mixed bag from the Brits with heartbreak for our Jaz but the sprinters all made it through...

After a week of stunning DL performances the boys discuss Keely and Karsten comebacks, WR near misses and a very damp LJ competish before we all head to Zurich for the big Final later this week.
