As we wrap up our series on Daniel, we talk about the price and Daniel and his friends were willing to pay so they didn't compromise their faith. When we apply that story to our lives, what price are we willing to pay for our faith in Jesus?

It can be tricky living in a culture whose values and norms are often in such direct contradiction to those of Jesus. How, as Christians, are we to respond? We can become angry, bitter, and even hurt, or we can move in the opposite direction towards healing and redemption. 

In this passage we see something we don’t see anywhere else - Jesus being unable to perform miracles because of the lack of faith of those around Him. Today we ask the question: “Would we see more of God in our lives, if we expected to see more of Him?”

As we look at the first chapter of Daniel we discover how intensely they were pressured to be indoctrinated into their new culture. As exiles, how did they hold onto their identity, their moral code, and their God? And what lessons can we pull from them for us today?

Jesus calls us His witnesses.  What does that mean for your life today? How can you live a life that is a testimony, that testifies, to the truth about Jesus?

In this text we see the power of a simple invitation: several times we see followers of Jesus inviting other people to "come and see" the amazing work of Jesus. Today, we can do the same. A simple invitation could change someone's life forever.

People need to see the Good News, not just hear about it. How can we, as the church, show people our faith in a way that is attractive and draws them closer to Jesus?

Do you ever feel like you are running on empty in life? God has provided three circles of sufficiency that when we lean into them we find the strength and replenishment we all need.

Exercising the habit of generosity changes your heart and causes you to be more thankful for everything!

What happens when we die? How does our sin affect our eternal destination? Jesus tells us that He not only knows the answer, but that He IS the answer. He said, “I am the resurrection.” What does this mean for our lives?

Jesus teaches us that we can do nothing without Him. And he calls us to live a life of significance that produces fruit - fruit that will last! As we learn to follow him more fully, what fruit are we leaving behind?

Jesus describes Himself as the only Way to relationship with God. The subtext is that God actually wants a relationship with us! That is incredible news! However, it can be easy to settle for something less than the loving, full hearted relationship He offers us. How can we grow to living with Him moment by moment?

For many of us it is easier to think of God as an our leader or our Savior, but it can be hard to let him care for our hearts. This week we look at what it means when Jesus says that He is our Good Shepherd.

We live in a world that is full of darkness. A world that often distorts and confuses good for evil, light for darkness. How have we, because we live in this world, been affected by the darkness? Have we gotten used to it and forgotten what it means to live in the light?
