We believe our God is a God of community. As his people, we too must share in community both for spiritual growth and to bear his image rightly in the world. Doing so requires more than surface-level interaction but true devotion, commitment, and deep love for one another (Acts 2:42-47). Therefore, we will be a people of authentic relationships, knowing they are vital for us and instrumental in making the Gospel more believable to ...
We believe our God is a God of grace. It’s only because of His grace expressed in Jesus that we can know new life in Him and eternal life with Him (Eph. 2:8-9). Grace is available to all people no matter the size or severity of sin, and salvation is given to anyone who exercises faith in Christ alone (John 3:16). Therefore, we will be a people of grace, extending freely to others what God extended freely to us. Grace will be the pl...
We believe our God is forever faithful and with him all things are possible (Matt. 19:26). Therefore, we will be a people of faith, refusing to dream small dreams or pray safe prayers. We will take risks, bank our lives on God’s promises, and be confident in his ability to do abundantly more than we can ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20).
Human opposition cannot stop God’s mission. The resurrected Jesus proves that God’s purposes will prevail.
Satan hates a unified church and uses people to threaten it. God takes these threats seriously and will take extreme measures to destroy them.
What’s the key to standing strong in the face of opposition? We need Bibles, backbones, and broken hearts.
When you’ve been with Jesus, you can’t stay quiet. The Holy Spirit provides the courage needed to obey God over man.
