Our message is Jesus Christ, crucified and raised from the dead! We seek to anchor everything in the Person and work of the Messiah, the Son of God. To proclaim Christ is to draw attention to Him, His perfect life and character, His compassionate and authenticating miracles, His sacrificial, atoning death and His victorious resurrection. To proclaim Christ is to point people not to the preacher, nor the church, nor a system of rules, but to a relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

"I'm a _______ Christian."
Whatever you put in that blank can prove to be more powerful than your identity in Christ. What is the danger and how do we avoid identifying with our struggles more than we identify with our Savior?

Since all Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable, how is the Old Testament in general “profitable” for us, since we are no longer under the law, but under grace and in the new covenant. How does God deal with us concerning blessings for obedience and punishment for disobedience? What does it mean and how are we to understand that “we teach the whole counsel of God?
