Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Killy Nash, Hello Jonathan Tomorrow Show. Today Monday, the
first day, the first workday of daylight Savings time.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Are you happy about that?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I am happy about it. I'm excited about it. Sally's not,
but I am so well.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Have your you know, for those of you who aren't
happy about it, you can still get happy because we've
got a very special Monday in our what you're talking
about contest and the way we're doing it for Monday,
and this is for Monday only. We're going to have
Brooks and dun concert tickets. It's their Neon Moon Tour
coming to Charlotte. That's Friday, March twenty eighth, with special
(00:40):
guests David Lee Murphy. We'll get you a pair of
tickets to that with what you're talking about, but also
again one day only, a bonus prize of a pair
of tickets to the gathering. And the gathering is a
firearm range day and expo presented by Palmetto State Armory,
hosted at the Clinton House Plantation in Clinton, South Carolina.
That's a very special event and this is for their Friday,
(01:04):
March twenty first XBO. They have another one on Saturday,
and I think We're going to do those later in
the week.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
But now there are different things happening on different days,
and I think I have to go to both days.
But Friday night there's like a special I think it's
called hallow Sun. I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing that correctly,
but it's a night sight company and there's going to
be a night shooting available there, so you can go
check out their weapons. They got demonstration firearm demos set
(01:34):
up all day long, and then they got shooting ranges
set up. Now they do not supply they do supply
on a limited basis. Eye protection bring your eyes and
ears basically, so bring your own ear protection and some
eye protection. That way you won't have to be shareing off.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
We used to have a promotions director named Ryan who
loved this event, so I got to go a couple
of times with him.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
And it's two thousand acres but they got three different
clay courses, seventeen shooting bays, a thousand yard range, and
a mile. There's a special shooting competition. If you hit
the target from a mile, you win some kind of prize.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I bet I don't think I could hit an elephant
from a mile.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
And trust me. The target is not a barn. Yeah,
I have not been to that. What I meant to
what they used to call live ogs, that psaos now
that one's got like three different ranges for clays.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
And just in case you're wondering, do not bring your
own weapon so your weapons are not allowed. No, and
it says they will not allow you onto the property
with your own weapons. This is intended for the public
to try products and talk with some of the biggest
names in the industry. No personal firearms or ammunition is
allowed into the event.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I think John and I are going Saturday, but I
really want to go Friday because I want to go
to that night shooting thing that'll be that's gonna be fascinating.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
And I'm not even sure what this means. That says
can we purchase things from the vendors at the gathering. Yes,
you can. Some of the vendors will be selling at
their discretion. The only thing we do not allow is
the sale of serial numbered items.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
So not really if you buy night sights and stuff like.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
That, I suppose I suppose that. I don't.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I don't think night sights are not cerealed.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I don't know are bullets serial numbered.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
No, but I don't know if, but they could be. Yeah, yeah,
I mean I think it doesn't have a serious anything.
You can buy a lower you're gonna buy a gun,
you can't buy that because those wor have serial numbers
on them.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
So the event is rain or shine and the event
of unprecedented conditions and message will be sent out via
event Bright. Otherwise you'll have to bring a rain jacket.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
They're so har twenty first and twenty second in Clinton,
South Carolina. Again, we plan to stop for lunch at Whitefords.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
These tickets are for Friday. It starts at nine am,
so you have to have the day off. I guess
on Friday, March twenty first, if you want to, you know,
win these things and go up there, and then the
next Friday you'll be up at the Brooks and dun concert.
Tell your Bush to take that day off too, even
though that show does start till seven. I'm just taking
I'm just taking every Friday off from here on out.
It's a three day weekend kind of kind of vibe.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
You could pull a ci Well. I'm not going to
say that it's lent season. I'm not saying it.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh, my goodness, we almost meant it. Jesus reference there.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Not going to go there. It was a denominational reference.
I'm not going to go there.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
All right, We're gonna have a moral dilemma for you
on Jonathan, the moral dilemma Monday. Her fiance has adult braces.
Then they set this wedding date a while back, I guess,
and as luck would have it, a few weeks after
the wedding is when he's scheduled to get the braces off.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Oh, he thought he was going to have them off
in time. I bet, because you know, sometimes it takes
a little longer. That's what they did with me. It's
a little longer.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
She says. She's thinking about saying, hey, what if we
were to push it back. What if we're just push
it back, because you're going to look ridiculous with these
braces on.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
You can hear all the photos will be cleaned up
and take care of that. With the new technology, you
don't have to worry about the brace is being.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
How about the videos? How about your speech you're going
to You don't have braces that make you speak funny
anymore anyway, some kind of She says. It's changed the
way he speaks, she says, it changes the way he speaks,
it changes the way his mouth looks. And I'm going
to live with these photos forever. And it's only been
a very short period of time in his life that
(05:34):
he'll have these braces on. But the rest of his
life have a beautiful witching venues.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
And you got to bee as a caterus.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
You're getting married in the backyard. Doesn't cost anything, very
small wedding. But I'm only going to do it once.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
He's ready to get married. He is ready.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
So do you tell your mom and dad and his
mom and dad and the people listen. We want to
push it back a month.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Uh, this is a dilemma for her.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Is a moral dilemma. Hey, so what are you thinking
about that? What's going on in your world? We need
to be talking about, you know, how to reach out
to us as social.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
We're wrapping it up quick.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Okay, yeah, we got we got a busy day here today.
It's a Friday. Everybody's ready to get out of the office,
I say, everybody. We don't have anybody coming in. Is
starting to dwindle again, Is this the trend now? Is
everybody taking advantage They came back to the office, they said,
you know, it sucks, I'd rather work from home.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Should we send them an email and see if they're
still working?
Speaker 1 (06:29):
That's a good Yeah, send us an email. What are
the five things you did? I wonder if that's true.
I wonder people were coming back and they missed the
the interaction in the hallways or whatnot.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
And then they got back and they experienced the interaction
in the hallways and they said that was overrated.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Yeah, coming back. Is your office starting to dwindle again?
Because ours is.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Well, we're in media and so it's a little bit,
you know, we're in the UH. I was talking to
some people, a guys, I saw everybody yesterday. I saw
people from some of the other radio groups. I saw
people from WATCH, I saw people from WOLO, I saw
people from LTx. I didn't see anybody from IS yesterday.
But just about all the television groups.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Are they not only advertising schedule for JT's.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I was actually working for two of them yesterday doing
TV commercials for different clients. But they all said, yeah,
just dramatic cuts like salespeople getting fired, talent obviously getting fired,
producers getting fired. We're just we're running on skeleton crews
(07:33):
in everything in media, newspapers obviously massive downsizing, so media
will eventually be run by one robot, and so we're
looking forward to that day, no more people involved.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
It's the same news report.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
They superimposed a different AI image and they could actually
choose what do you want to African American male? You
want to Asian female? What do you want of this?
Speaker 2 (07:59):
You don't imagine it will actually be so customized. It'll
use your name, Good morning, Jonathan, Today's news.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
And here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
They'll spend about six months probably with a I get
in different video shots from different angles all over the city,
and they won't actually be there. They'll just use the
video b roll and superimpose the AI image in front
of the video they had shot six months ago.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
That's talking to you the way you like to be
spoken to. Jonathan likes really conservative news, the far left
mob today.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
All that's coming. So I turn on WISTV news. I
get a slightly different version of the verbiage than say
you would.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
So if you're more middle and everybody and it'll just
be and I guess you could probably vote on it
like you kind of like when you see those polls,
like during a debate and they're like, oh, the CNN
audience really liked it when so and so said this,
and they turn it up. So you'll just turn it
up when you like something. All that's happened every day
your news will just be more and more. Turn it up,
Turn it up.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
And the new five K is what I'm calling it,
whatever it's going to be. The new television will actually
track your eyes, so they'll be to see if they're
holding your attention and what is holding your attention. So
if you only look at commercials when it's got the
hot babe with a bikini, then that's all you're gonna say.
That's all you're going to see. Hot Babe with bikini.
Channel will be what we used to call WYSTV ten
(09:25):
Joe Penners in your household. It may be it may
be guys driving old trucks.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
It would be interesting if it's like a family and
like the wife is like, why do they keep showing
us these bikini photos? I'm sure I have no idea.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
All that is coming.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
