קבוצת לוריאל, חברת הביוטי המובילה בעולם, פועלת ביותר מ-150 מדינות ומעסיקה קרוב ל-90,000 עובדים. בשנה שעברה דיווחה על מכירות ב 41 מיליארד יורו.
לוריאל ישראל מובילה את שוק הביוטי המקומי עם 21 מותגים, מחזור מכירות של 700 מיליון שקל ומעסיקה כ-1,000 עובדים.
במהלך הפרק, נדון בתוכנית הקיימות השאפתנית של לוריאל לשנת 2030, “לוריאל למען העתיד” (L’Oréal for the Future). התוכנית כוללת יעדים משמעותיים, כגון:
- עד 2025: השגת ניטרליות פחמנית בכל אתרי החברה באמצעות שיפור היעילות האנרגטית ושימוש ב-100% אנרגיה מתחדשת.
- עד 2030: שימוש ב-100% פלסטיק ממוחזר או מבוסס ביולוגית באריזות המוצרים ויהיו ניתנים למילוי מחדש או לקימפוסט.
- עד 2030: הפחתת פליטות גזי החממה ב-50% לכל מוצר מוגמר בהשוואה לשנת 2016.
בנוסף, לוריאל התחייבה להקצות 150 מיליון אירו לטיפול בבעיות חברתיות וסביבתיות דחופות, כולל 100 מיליון אירו להשקעות אימפקט המתמקדות באתגרים סביבתיים, ו-50 מיליון אירו לקרן צדקה לתמיכה בנשים פגיעות.
