值此2025年「多元文化健康周」期间，2CR澳洲中文广播电台特别专访了新州多元文化健康传讯服务中心（Multicultural Health Communication Service, MHCS）媒体与传播经理曹洁女士，就本年度主题「健康老龄化：长者是家庭与社区的核心」进行深入探讨。
曹洁介绍，MHCS 隶属新州卫生厅，致力确保公共卫生政策、医疗服务与健康资讯能够有效传达至多元文化社区。她与团队长期与媒体及各族裔社区组织合作，通过多语种健康资源、社区活动与线上平台，协助不同文化背景的民众获取准确的健康资讯，提升医疗可及性与健康素养。
关注华人长者健康障碍
曹洁指出，随著新南威尔士州人口老龄化趋势加剧，65岁以上长者中有三分之一为海外出生，其中华人长者占有相当比例。许多华人长者面临语言不通、对澳洲医疗及社会福利制度缺乏了解，导致就医困难；同时也常因照顾孙辈而忽视自身健康，加上文化上对癌症等疾病讳莫如深，延误了筛查与治疗时机。
她特别提醒，华人社区应鼓励长者定期看家庭医生、参与政府提供的免费癌症筛查，并主动获取正确健康资讯，以预防慢性病与提升生活品质。「保持身体健康，也要重视心理健康，鼓励长者参与社交活动，减少孤独与隔阂，才能活得更健康、更快乐。」
推出多语种健康资源
为配合今年主题，MHCS 与新州人口健康中心合作，推出涵盖骨骼保健、防跌倒、癌症筛查、牙齿护理等主题的18份健康资讯资源，已翻译为简体中文、繁体中文、意大利语、希腊语及阿拉伯语，让社区长者可以更便利地获取所需知识。同时，今年更首度邀请四位来自华人、希腊、意大利、阿拉伯社区的「健康大使」，以及七位青年大使拍摄短片，以自身经历倡导积极健康老龄生活。
呼吁使用官方可信渠道
曹洁呼吁华人社区民众应透过MHCS官网（mhcs.health.nsw.gov.au）、**新州卫生厅（NSW Health）及新州癌症研究所（Cancer Institute NSW）**等官方渠道获取多语健康资讯。目前 MHCS 网站已提供超过700份健康资料，涵盖90多种语言，其中中文资讯内容丰富详尽，也可通过 MHCS 微信公众号获取最新健康消息。
她最后勉励华人社区：「健康老龄化并非遥不可及——保持运动、均衡饮食、定期健康检查、维持社交联结与良好心态，就是为自己、为家庭也为社区带来幸福与力量的第一步。」换的内容
