او دیگر یازدهساله شده بود و مثل دیگر دختران حق رفتن به مکتب را نداشت و نمیتوانست درس بخواند و داکتر شود. باید آرزوها و رویاهایش را کنار میگذاشت؛ چون حق آرزو کردن را نداشت. میگفتند همین که خواندن و نوشتن را یاد گرفتید، کافی است. دیگر بزرگ شدهاید و باید حجاب کنید و از مردها رو بگیرید. پس از این حرفها، آنقدر ناامید شد که دیگر هیچوقت دلش نخواست شعر بخواند و آزاد باشد و مثل زنهایی که در تلویزیون میدید، داکتر شود. او آرزوهایش را به کسی نگفته بود. حتا کسی به آرزوهای او اهمیت نمیداد.
