ما را در وانت‌ها جابه‌جا کردند. در یک وانت کوچک با تعداد ۲۴ نفر از هموطنان به طرف ایران‌شهر حرکت کردیم. آن شب هر دقیقه‌اش شاید برای ما به مثابه یک ساعت بود که می‌گذشت. قید بودن جای، خسته‌گی یک هفته آواره‌گی در دشت و بیابان و از همه بدتر سردی این شب، به حالت تیره و تلخ ما دوچند زهرش را می‌چشاند. شبی که هشت تا ده ساعت را میان مرگ و زنده‌گی راه افتاده بودیم. سفر وحشت‌ناکی بود. کوه‌های سر به فلک و خطرناک این منطقه، و راه‌های پرپیچ و خمی که قاچاقبران انسان برای ماشین‌های خود کشیده بودند، بازی با جان هزاران انسان بود.
