In this Abounding Love episode, I continue a six (6) part series on "Steps to Your Ministry." We need to realize each of us has a ministry that Jesus has anointed us to carry out. We are the body of Christ and as such God works through us to do His work on earth. In Step #1, on "Dedication," I referenced Psalm 37:5. We're to COMMIT our way [to roll it over on] the LORD, also TRUST in Him, that He will bring it to pass [also Proverbs 3:5-6]. In this "Steps to Your Ministry #2," I share on "Your Purpose" to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ -- His righteousness, peace and joy. A definition of "dedication" is "having a definite purpose." As the body of Christ, our purpose is to put the Word of God into the world. Singleness of purpose yields the results we are aiming at, that is, to do away with the works of the devil. Prayer, praise and the study of God's Word serves our divine purpose. We not only need a purpose, but definite goals in our ministry to yield results. Join me as we look at five (5) goals with Scripture [James 1:5-8; Matthew 5:13-16; 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18 and Isaiah 50:4-7] to see how we can get results from the purpose of your ministry. Selah! CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
