Im Laufe der Zeit häufen sich die Probleme, untergraben die Kreditwürdigkeit der USA und führen zu einer Wirtschaftskrise. Die Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) bietet einen Ausweg aus der Krise, indem sie die Art und Weise verändert, wie Geld geschaffen wird.

ÜBER RICHARD D. WOLFF: Richard D. Wolff ist Gründer von Democracy at Work und Gastgeber der Sendung Economic Update. Er ist emeritierter Professor für Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der University of Massachusetts, Amherst, wo er von 1973 bis 2008 Wirtschaftswissenschaften lehrte. Zuvor lehrte er Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Yale University und am City College der City University of New York. Wolff war auch regelmäßiger Dozent am Brecht Forum in New York City. Derzeit ist er Gastprofessor im Graduiertenprogramm für Internationale Angelegenheiten der New School University in New York City.
