44. Tales from Novus - Episode 7 - Scythes and Shadows

In the thrilling conclusion to our five-episode side arc, Arken, Gilgamesh, Randy, and Salazar face their greatest challenge yet. Deep within the mountain’s colossal statue, the party uncovers secrets best left buried. Gilgamesh shatters a Pharasma effigy, unleashing a revolting black ooze and revealing a cryptic box whose contents may change everything.

Their descent leads to a huge chamber containing a number of ancient sarcophagi, and a confrontation with the most formidable enemy ever encountered on the podcast. Stakes are high, consequences are dire, and not everyone may make it out unscathed.

What lies within the mysterious box? Can the party survive this overwhelming foe? And seriously… will Gary Busey ever leave the studio?
