Up first today, a significant privacy breach has been uncovered involving Nexar,
a vehicle dashcam company.
A hacker infiltrated Nexar's database, obtaining access to terabytes of video
footage from dashcams nationwide.
The hack revealed that due to a security flaw, a digital key inside each dashcam
allowed the hacker to view and delete videos from other users' cameras.

Vehicle owners may have unknowingly been recorded and surveilled,
raising serious privacy concerns.
Users are reminded to be cautious with internet-connected devices as they may
be vulnerable to unauthorized access.
Turning to security and law enforcement, a Louisiana man and ex-Marine,
Micah James Legnan, was arrested for allegedly planning an armed attack in New Orleans.
Authorities found weapons and body armor in his possession and linked him to

a far-left extremist group, the Turtle Island Liberation Front.
The arrest highlights ongoing risks associated with extremist violence and the

and events. In other news, the topic of trusting artificial intelligence continues to evolve.
Google has introduced an AI tool aimed at helping decipher ancient texts by

Now for today's weather summary. Hazardous travel conditions are expected due
to dangerous wind gusts and heavy snow from the northwest to the north-central U.S.
The Pacific Northwest will see heavy rain combined with snowfall in the mountains.
Above-average temperatures are forecast across much of the country,
with possible record highs in the western U.S. and northeast mid-Atlantic regions.

Widespread wind gusts will continue in the northern and central plains,
with potential whiteout conditions in the northern plains.
Additionally, an atmospheric river impacting Oregon and northern California
could produce heavy to excessive rain, increasing the risk of flooding.
