This is your Amcon Daily Sit Rep for September the 29th, 2025.
Up first today, a tragic event unfolded at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day.
Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
A shooting and fire incident resulted in the deaths of four people and injuries to eight others.
The attacker, identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford, used a semi-automatic rifle
during a service before dying in a shootout with police.

Authorities, including the FBI, are investigating the motive behind this violent act.
Notably, attacks on churches have been increasing, with 415 reported incidents
in 2024, double the number from 2022.
Turning to weather, Tropical Storm Imelda, after moving over the Bahamas,
is expected to turn east-northeast, moving away from the southeast U.S.
Coast by midweek and is likely to become a hurricane.

While the storm's impact on the U.S., coast is lessening with watches dropped
for Florida, rainfall and isolated flooding remain concerns along parts of Florida,
Georgia, and the Carolinas.
Dangerous marine conditions, including life-threatening surf and rip currents,
are forecasted along much of the East Coast this week.
In other news, there is increased focus on the group known as Antifa,

which has been officially designated as a domestic terrorist organization.
Antifa operates as a decentralized militant group, advocating for the overthrow of the U.S.
Government and is linked to escalating political violence, particularly in major urban centers.
Preparedness for potential direct actions at local events is advised.
Meanwhile, ongoing protests and civil unrest are noted nationwide.

Various demonstrations are scheduled, including protests across New York City
at the UN headquarters and a vigil in Pasadena, California.
Members are reminded to maintain high situational awareness and report anything
suspicious to both local authorities and the ISAT team.
Finally, upcoming events to note. The Southeast Region Adventure Challenge will
be held October 3rd to 5th at Trace State Park in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Shortly after, the Northeast Region Adventure Challenge is planned for October
10th through 12th in Hooksdown, Pennsylvania.
Additionally, the Broward County, Florida chapter will hold a monthly meetup
on October 11th focusing on situational awareness.
Today's weather summary. Moisture from Tropical Storm Imelda will continue producing
showers and thunderstorms along the southeast U.S.

Coast, with minor flooding possible through Tuesday.
The Pacific Northwest will see waves of showers and thunderstorms midweek.
Unseasonably warm temperatures persist from the northern and central plains to the Great Lakes.
Additionally, swells are expected to cause hazardous marine conditions along the East Coast.
No severe weather warnings have been issued at this time, but stay alert to updates.
