A new Sinister Selection crash-lands on the scene and vows to dispense cosmic justice…just very slowly and on a budget. In 1987’s Alien Private Eye, Earth is threatened by an odd combination of narcotics and nuclear weapons. Our only hope is Lemro, a super-cool alien who lives among us as a private detective. Aided by a mysterious woman and a pair of rival space cops, Lemro searches for the two halves of a powerful alien artifact. One half is currently in the possession of the villainous Kilgore, who’s using it manufacturer a potent (and very confusing) drug called “soma.” We’re not sure how Lemro intends to solve this case, but it’ll definitely involve dancing, fighting, and a Nintendo Power Glove. Find the windiest spot in your apartment, get plenty of refreshments for your henchmen, and listen to today’s out-of-this-world episode of Anime Was (Not) A Mistake!
