Are religions fundamentally the same?

Today it is considered antiquated—even arrogant—to believe that any one religion or worldview has a monopoly on “The Truth.” Does it really matter what story we chose to believe and live, if all roads ultimately lead to the same destination? This is a perspective that jars with Jesus’ claim that “nobody comes to the father except through him.” So is there anything distinctive about Jesus, or is Christianity just one more pathway heading up the same mountain? We’ll be reflecting on these questions and their implications in this week’s episode of Ask Away.
