Holy Family University is an anchor institution, serving local communities in Philadelphia and Bucks County. An important aspect of serving these communities is education and helping to get important information out to the people who need it most. In this episode, Dr. Prisco introduces you to Dr. Cedric "Jamie" Rutland; a pulmonary and critical care physician and owner of West Coast Lung. He is a national Spokesperson for the American Lung Association along with the President and Founding member of the Association for Healthcare Social Media. While Dr. Jamie doesn't physically live in PA, he is playing a pivotal role in trying to combat misinformation in the healthcare space on a national scale through the tool of social media.
