Kristin Waite-Labbot, BSN, RN, CARN, CPRC, struggled with substance use disorders that deeply affected her life, her relationships and her career. After losing much to opioids and alcohol, she found recovery. Ultimately regaining her nursing licensure and returning to the work she loves, Kristin is now the author of An Unlikely Addict, a certified addictions registered nurse, licensed recovery coach and founder of the Wisconsin Peer Alliance for Nurses.
