There will be a Virtual Dual Credit presentationfor sophomores and juniors who are interested
in taking a Dual Credit course.
The presentation will be Wednesday, February7th at 6:00 pm.

The BHS Cheerleaders are hosting the VikingKickback Spring Dance, Saturday, February
10 from 8-11 in the Silver cafeteria.
Tickets are on sale now during all lunchesand will also be available at the door.
The theme is whiteout, but no athletic wear.
The following door prize will be given awayas well: A $200 Kendra Scott gift card, two

The floral design program will be sellingflowers in the cafeteria before school and
during lunches next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Students can pay with cash or card.
If you would like the flowers delivered, stopby the cafeteria next Tuesday for one last
chance to place a delivery order for Valentine’sDay.

In the emails, there is a link to the listof local scholarships currently available.
Also, attached will be the BISD Common ScholarshipApplication.
Students may also come to the Go Center, Room5136, to pick up applications and receive

any assistance with the process.
Students should get teacher recommendationforms to their teachers as soon as possible.
Once students submit the BISD Common Application,they will need to fill out a local scholarship
request form listing the scholarships theywant to apply for.
The Application and all extra documents aredue by February 26th.
The 12th annual Helping Youth Prepare forEmployment (HYPE) Career Expo hosted by Workforce

Solutions Brazos Valley is scheduled for Tuesday,February 27 at the Brazos County Expo Center.
The HYPE Career Expo is for high school juniorsand seniors.
