Big Ideas

Big Ideas

What roles do Bigs play in family engagement in mentoring? How do they enhance (or undermine) family relationships? The Big Ideas podcast—sponsored by Search Institute—will explore these kinds of questions, using the Developmental Relationships Framework as a starting point. Each episode will focus on a key issue and one of the elements of developmental relationships. We’ll interview a Big and a parent for each episode, working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the pilot agencies to identify people who can talk about specific, practical ways they have dealt with challenges in positive ways in their own Big-Parent relationship. Hosted by Abby Fisher, VP of Programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio.
