But Anita Browne effortlessly defies this conventional portrait. Hailing from Tarlton, she has been an integral part of Greenway Farms for nearly a decade, spearheading the production side of the carrot farming business.

Anita holds the esteemed title of the first female recipient of the Young Farmer of the Year award, which she won in Gauteng in 2019.
