Darren Weale talks again with Gareth Bacon, Member of Parliament for Orpington from his office in Portcullis House on the Parliamentary estate in Westminster.
As Parliamentary recess approaches, Gareth reflects on his 6 years in Parliament, the demands of the job, meeting over 140 organisations already in his role as Shadow Secretary of State for Transport, and "meeting good people doing good things for other people". Those include Sumeet Jalan, whose Big Jalebi Diwali celebration takes place in October, and Lauretta Wright, whose 'ABBBA' awards are also upcoming.
