Welcome to Brunch with the Branches! Today’s drink is Thomas’ try at actually making a cocktail! He’s giving us a Raspberry Lemonade Tequila Splash, made with fresh raspberries , Milo’s Lemonade, a little bit of Simple Syrup, & Teremana Tequila. Kim shared that planning a Mother / Daughters Trip to New York and hearing the excitement in her mom and sister’s voices is what is bringing her joy. Thomas provided the recommendation for the day, a book titled Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown. Thomas and Kim introduced the main topic, which is a combination recap of all the topics previously discussed through out this season. But before they dive into the main topic, the two have fun with a quick drinking game [14:57] The two discuss the topic of dating emotionally unavailable people in order to make you feel better about your emotional availability [33:08] They then discuss the political scene we’re currently in, and they remind us that our vote does count.[52:00] Thomas announces the contest brunch spot contest, and explains the rules!
