We’re looking at the early 80s work of Genesis and immediately make an absolute booboo regarding their hit Mama - I know it wasn’t Rapper’s Delight, it was The Message by Grandmaster Flash that was the inspiration for the laughy bit! Don’t @ me! Regardless their “The Mama Tour” video is praised to high heaven despite having one of their more embarrassing tunes on it. You know, the one about aliens. No, the *other* one about aliens.

Tina Turner is live and unleashed, in an era before she was the 80s’ favourite purveyor of raunchy soft rock. Still waiting around for Private Dancer et al, she’s mostly doing cover versions. This leads us to remember Steve Coogan’s mostly forgotten comedy character, Tony Ferrino.

We delve into the oeuvre of Thor, Norse god of thunder and, apparently, rock. Wendy O. Williams has been doing stuff with KISS, Manowar has been doing stuff with Orson Welles and Kate Bush gets an interview. Tune in to find out which is her favourite season! This is still Kerrang we’re talking about, by the way!

Along the way we’ll talk robots, graphic design, Eminem, Lenny Kravitz (yet again) and Eamon Holmes. Er... rock and roll...?

(00:01):
and uh what can I say oh yes we're going
to be here for about a couple of hours
at least a couple of
hours don't leave don't leave no no
couple of hours at least yes we're going
to till the drugs wear off and
uh and we're going to be playing lots of
our new songs

(00:24):
tonight I
see we may play some of our old songs
and we may even play some really old
songs too
[Music]

(01:02):
um so did you like that story um no well
no not especially no I didn't I kind of
picture the kind of guy it was though
and I bet I could absolutely okay
welcome oh no
you no I don't want to I don't know why
I said
welcome uh welcome to the

(01:27):
podcast God that was so lame do you want
to do that again
yeah uh welcome to c i pod with Madness
issue
36 I
think um we're picking up on
last last episode um where we're talking
about uh all things K but before we do

(01:47):
that have you got anything you want to
tell
us um because it's been a while since we
recorded so uh what have you been up
to um I don't think we've been up to
much have we
rescued a robot didn't we um yeah what
do you want to explain um we've got
these robots around here and that

(02:09):
they'll deliver your shopping
basically um and yeah it's on an app and
every certain parts of town you see them
trending around they're a bit like big
track they're they're on Wheels and they
kind of go along the
road and uh we were driving along we saw
one the other day and it was trying to

(02:29):
get a curb and it was obviously stuck
and we sort of looked at each other
and my my initial feeling
was I I'm not allowed to touch it
right but we felt bad for this robot
even though it's just
a it's just a box on Wheels isn't it we

(02:51):
felt a
bit sympathetic towards this thing so we
drove back and I helped it up the ger
and it said thank you have a nice day
yeah yeah so obviously when the robots
take over um you know maybe they'll look
on me in a more favorable like they
won't exterminate me straight away

(03:14):
hopefully
not it's a nice thing to do okay is
there anything you've seen that you'd
like to talk about or listen
to I feel like you're trying to tell me
something with your eyes and I'm not I
don't understand
have a song that you want to talk about
or you usually have something you've

(03:34):
seen or like a real or something that
you like to talk about I feel like you
putting me on the spot cut this bit out
because this feels like you're putting
me on the spot a bit okay I mean do you
not want to talk about Eminem and I was
like the the one thing I could think of
that maybe was a thing I mean by the
time this comes out it'll be all news
but um well so um obviously Eminem has

(03:56):
got a new song out called
Houdini um
and yeah I think a lot of people got
very excited by it and Well you
certainly did well I've listened to it
it's a good song um what's it is it who
sings abadaba uh Steve Miller Band Steve
Miller Band um so obviously it samples

(04:19):
that um one person I heard who is only
in the very early 20s said it sounds
like all his others um and he didn't
really like it because of that but I
think you're kind of missing the point
if you say that about this in particular
cuz it's obviously not meant to sound
identical but it's meant to reflect a

(04:43):
certain
style that he's done and it does do that
so yeah were you an Eminem fan yes back
when he's you know he was he was hot he
was racing up the charts he was on the
MTV I was yes big Eminem fan went to see
him
live um yeah I'm not feeling overly

(05:06):
entertaining today so um forgive my
short
answers welcome to six P music club I'm
Dave and along with jeffro hey guys and
Russ Russ I told you I don't want to be
in the podcast Dave come on man we
talked about this and now that you've

(05:26):
introduced yourself we can tell these
great people about our bi-weekly podcast
called six P music club and we're
excited for you to hear it oh is this
the one where we host
creamy no this is the one where every
episode has a musical theme and we each
pick two of our favorite songs to share
and discuss around that theme come on

(05:46):
dude I'd much rather go out and
hose guys we're going to have to bleep
all this out can we please keep it PG
just for the trailer anyways the podcast
uh some of these songs you'll know but
we hope you'll discover something new
wait do we like make more money if we
bleep the curses no dude that isn't
really how it works is there going to be

(06:08):
there's definitely going to be six songs
each time we invite you to come on down
to the clubhouse hey man if we're not
making any money I'm going to go get
my clearly I might recommend earm Muffs
for the kids especially with these
Jokers joining me also rock and roll
does have some grown-up words from time
to time that's not all rock and roll has
it also has a big old fat hold up it

(06:29):
does nice if you're ready to commit you
can subscribe today tell them Russ yeah
you should subscribe and get your rocked
off we'll see you January 3rd for the
premiere episodes of six P music Club
until then keep jamming oh so there's
like three of us and we each select two
songs and then it's six total songs each
time six picks I get

(06:54):
[Music]
it okay well should we get should we Le
straight back into the issue that we
were looking
[Music]
at okay well we got to the main
event article about

(07:15):
Genesis yeah uh Genesis will be
returning to Britain in a in Triumph
when they play five historic concerts at
the NEC Birmingham but will Phil Collins
be able to cope with the strain of
recreating mamama and the Hideous groud
ing chuckle that help helped make it a
hit says Tony Banks doesn't seem to be a
problem when he first did that laugh on

(07:36):
the session we thought he' never be able
to reproduce it live but he's had no
trouble at all on her American tour the
one song he does have a problem with is
man on the corner from abacab which is
very expressive number and very hard on
his voice uh so are you a fan of mama
don't know it right should we have a bit
of
Mama you'll have heard it m

(08:01):
yeah later covered by The Spice
[Music]
Girl mama mama you take it away my
last sit down take it away Can't You
Feel My Heart

(08:21):
[Music]
I can do
that you know this song
right I think I do
yeah just big kit well get a bit that's

(08:43):
not him laughing or
guitar how old are you there nine um
well 83 so one year so
30 32
he's 10 years younger than you

(09:04):
mate they've done better i' have
probably left this one you don't like
mom
shocked
no the life
would great on great on me after a while
I think it based on
um you know Rappers

(09:24):
Delight yeah you know he goes don't push
me cuz I'm close and he's he does a bit
that haha ha that sort of thing right
and that's sort of what Phil Collins was
doing just basically
copying uh what about that's all do you
know that's all

(09:44):
no hey look he's got his flat cap
on oh yeah I know this
[Music]
yeah quite liked dressing as tramps back

(10:07):
in those
days H yeah it's good song that but so
we talked about we started talking about
Genesis right because there's a Genesis
article and obviously I'm interested in
that because
I'm big fat Genesis
geek um they're playing a string of

(10:27):
concerts at the Birmingham NEC
it's very exciting and if you want to
see uh one of their concerts at the NEC
it was uh released on VHS as the mamor
uh in 1984 and I remember watching it
back in the day very good very
exciting
[Music]

(10:49):
um so in England and Europe in general
they prefer to hear the Romantic more
subtle numbers associated with the early
days but in America we can play
different songs which have been more
popular there like misunderstanding and
the material that's post and then there
were three do you like misunder do you
know misunderstanding don't know I think
I was like a massive hit in America but

(11:09):
not over here um and then they talk
about this song illegal
alien which I remember you listened to
and you were like what the [ __ ] is that
yeah that was embarrassing is it I mean
it's not like thought of as one of their
best songs you put on the playlist
really

(11:30):
yeah okay um well Tony Bank said it's
not
racist like so a white uh public school
boy said that this song about people
trying to get over the Border isn't
racist and then he blames Mike
Rutherford because he wrote the lyrics

(11:50):
and they've all got like big mustaches
in the video but is a it's a tune though
is it it's a
banger um I think I just thought it was
stupid when I heard it
okay so uh not a
uh not a
resounding thumbs up for illegal alien
well just my

(12:13):
opinion I don't think it's a terribly
well-known one of theirs um so yeah
there's a picture of Phil Collins In
Like A Sort of hockey
catchers right is that like a that's not
a hockey mask is it no cuz a hockey puck
could go right through that' be Point
yeah yeah he's got some weird thing on

(12:33):
his face we don't really know what that
is and there's some uh live
shots standard stuff just lots of Lights
it's most the the focus is on the light
basically um yeah but I put the mamor on
um the playlist so check that [ __ ] out

(12:55):
cuz uh that's some uh good stuff okay so
on the
personals I picked out oh man I can see
why you picked it
out kind shy attractive friendly male 24
oh you miss up caring all right kind shy
caring attractive friendly male 24 seeks

(13:17):
busty lady for friendship improve my
social she can have any kind of
personality at all it's her personality
is irrelevant we need to know in depth
his personality from five words but hers
she just has to have
boobs I mean he yeah he's listed a lot

(13:38):
of sort of emotional traits and just I'm
kind I'm shy I'm caring I'm attractive
right get you I'm a
friendly I just want tis he just like B
God I mean what should the oh forget it
never mind go on

(13:59):
improve my social
what improve my social life yeah he says
I'm genuine versatile no no wait it says
seeks busty lady for friendship full
stop improve my social life full
stop what the [ __ ] does that mean like
she's going to have tits and help

(14:22):
him socially get over shy I mean he's
already said he's
shy her tits are not going to help with
that
that's he wants to he wants if she's a
shy introverted big tited lady that's
not they're not going to help well that
he's not interested in that he needs
someone of a particular shape who's
going to you know sort him out

(14:46):
socially I'm not sure why that's her
problem but oh yeah like a girl's
looking through this going yeah I want a
project to do it like yeah I got my own
problems to do I don't want to sort out
your problems he sounds [ __ ] hopeless
but you know obviously yeah but in that
Trope like what does he want my big tits
have me to sort out his problems
brilliant where do I sign

(15:07):
up great but isn't that a Trope of women
thinking oh I can I can change him no
don't no that's when you're you end up
in a relationship with someone and you
know it's [ __ ] and you just hope for the
best cuz you're
optimistic but women are not looking for

(15:28):
men
to help we're not out here waiting to
solve all your
problems because you can't be bothered
going to the pub and talking to people
you need her to do it for you I mean
unfortunately the name isn't included
it's just a I think fortunately the name
isn't included fortunately for everyone
the name isn't

(15:52):
included uh so we've got the Live
reviews
concerts spelled with a k
um and there's a review of Thor at the
Marquee Club in London okay um have you
ever seen anyone blow up a hot water
bottle like a balloon with a minimum of
effort and let it explode in the face I
have actually when when someone

(16:15):
line was it Thor was he a sort of heavy
metal no no I think he's like some
strong man or something you know like
one of those huge guys who pulls bowels
in a truck on something in you know like
a onesie was it like the world strongest
man and was blowing up like blowing up a
hot water BL a hot water ball is I mean
can you imagine I'd Die there's no

(16:37):
question I'd Die Trying if I was really
trying I'd die I'm not going to so I was
unfamiliar with the work of Thor uh so
balloons are scary enough when they do
in your face aren't they yeah but if
you're if you're a sort of
supernaturally you know strong powerful
Thor is but this guy I saw doing it

(16:58):
wasn't he was just a man he was just a
dude actually I don't know if it
exploded but it got really big yeah yeah
yeah he blew it
up there you go well I was unfamiliar
with the work of Thor so I've looked it
up I found a video from London 1984
which might have been this very gig

(17:20):
because this was at the
Marquee um so Thor live in oh this
Camden Palace 1984 including the
legendary bursting of the hot water
bottle and handily they've given us a
time stamp legendaries I'm going to say
a
stretch and and other great stunts winky

(17:41):
face what's the um definition of
legendary well look he's if he's [ __ ]
Thor he's you know son of
Odin
J mean

(18:01):
um described in or based on Legends
remarkable enough to be famous very well
known God that's a bit of
a pissy lukewarm explanation of
legendary and it like we use legendary
like legendary and all it's saying here
is it's remarkable enough to be famous

(18:22):
that's and today you you can well you'd
say iconic now wouldn't you that's the
most boring word that iconic it's so
iconic I do it because it's iconic or
should we have a bit of Thor I mean I'm
I'm not I I can't do it I can't do it
I'm not saying I can do it but it is so
lame there's no point say a full no

(18:44):
point full six minutes of watching this
so you've come to watch them
sing Oh we miss explode you absolutely
ruined the Money
Shop you first of all you're doing it
without sound and it's bad enough I go
watch this
nonsense what was the point what was the

(19:06):
[ __ ] point in that what an absolute
waste of every that's been a waste of my
life and it's a waste of everyone
listening life to listen to us
watching when this guy on stage
pretending like that wasn't embarrassing
well when you're watching it when you're
listening to it the band are doing this
like big oh that and that makes it

(19:28):
better does it yeah sorry the No No the
issue is right he can't time this thing
exploding with the Beats so it just they
just kind of play this Crescendo that
just goes on and on and on and on and
then just randomly it pops what the
point what was the point it's to show
how
[ __ ] Thor he is if he was if he was

(19:50):
Thor where's the lining where's the
hammer um when did Thor have a hot water
bottle it's it just looks embarrassing a
hot water bottle even like at home when
I've got one is always a bit
embarrassing even when you're on your
own isn't it because you know how lame
it is even though it feels nice and it
keeps you warm and whatever but you're

(20:12):
always aware that it's a little bit lame
Grand don't you yeah you do and it's you
know you got that sort of hot rubber
smell and it's embarrassing but to hold
it up on stage and act like it smell is
honestly um he fight he fights Loki at
the end does he
so there's Loki comes out that's who

(20:34):
that's Loki that's
who he's you know the god of
mischief and he's he's putting breeze
blocks on Thor's chest and he smashes it
with a
sledgehammer oh my God I mean I really
don't want to hate on things
but what is the point I just don't what

(20:54):
the what's the
point because it's it's all lame like
he's got a hel like a safety helmet on
it's so
[Music]
lame well there's no way around that
it's health and safety
but if you're thinking of an idea and
you're like yeah I'm going to put some
breeze blocks on him cuz I'm chaos and

(21:16):
then I'm going to like store them
through him and stuff and then they're
like right yeah but when you do that you
are going to have to wear safety helmet
and he'll be like well I can't do that
then cuz it's going to look lame that's
a Pneumatic drill though that's not
that's not
safe but my point is when you're having
the conversation and then you
know the man comes in says right but you

(21:37):
can only do this if you wear a safety
hel you be like well I'm not going to do
it then because that's lame isn't it
it's
embarrassing okay should we have another
there's another Thor video oh my God
this just popped up on my my
recommendations and it's called the the
worst music video ever okay I can I

(21:59):
already believe
them I mean it's starting off with some
guy he's fondling an or he's fondling an
orb yeah that's not that's not
mystically trying to read from it
through your
hands okay I mean why can't we have
sound I feel like sound might make it
less

(22:20):
painful I always meant to be like a old
sort of silent film thing isn't it
imagine
going for a bit of the Buster
Katon
unfortunately we're going to have to
watch it on mute I mean you and you know
it's early 80s metal isn't it you can
imagine what it sounds

(22:41):
like um he's running through the woods
there's some video effects they've got
like breaking cloaks on there's some
lightning I don't think this is I've
seen worse music vide I think we just
watched worse than this
this looks like exactly what I would

(23:03):
expect I mean the editing is sweet it's
really
good green screen on that
one I mean how about I get it up on my
phone because then we'll be able to hear
it that'll be um yeah can't wait green
screen is always good when it cuts off
um the bottom half of your legs isn't it

(23:23):
it was you know it was the early days of
the technology well don't use it then
good night out it starts from the
beginning even get ready we usually get
ready together
we right you get a taste of what Thor
actually sound
like

(23:44):
[Music]
go is it he sounds like danig
I'd love to know his actual middle

(24:04):
name a
Thomas I knew a guy called Thor I Thor
Thomas superhero not superhero is he
well he's a sort of God God he's a god
of thunder of course
yeah

(24:26):
um it's great
not
sure why but
thanks well that was that was Thor and
he's vanquishing his enemies what more
do you
[Music]
want no else he can blow

(24:48):
up condom that's easy youve got to go
more than a hot water wall
now so it be like a like a bouncy
castle got a bouncy castle on stage I'm
going to blow it up for no
reason he's still on tour you know I

(25:10):
think he's in the 70s but he's still not
doing theot water ball trick is
he um and he could he could say oh
there's a comment saying this is [ __ ]
awesome okay interesting so it has a
generic fantasy theme of a beautiful
woman getting captured by the bad guy
and a rock band led by a blonde guy with
a chest the size of of a small country
dressed in leather and spikes Dawning

(25:30):
swords to rescue her this is [ __ ]
awesome the lack of respect in the title
this Bandon video [ __ ]
rules this video is essentially He-Man a
tall blonde guy with long hair and big
muscles brackets he man we got it goes
to a castle with a sword fight and and

(25:51):
fight
Skeletor I actually worked with a lead
singer of this band in the late '90s he
was a pizza delivery driver at the pizza
joint I worked at in downtown Seattle he
mentioned he was part of a band that was
making a
comeback he was also Once Upon a Time Mr
Universe I can see that this was before
the internet was as full of video and

(26:12):
content as it is now LOL so really had
no idea what it was all
about anyway he asked me to be a part of
his music video which was filmed in part
on top of a rooftop in Seattle that
overlooked the king doome implosion 18e
anniversary today which is why I this up
20-year-old me was dressed up in a
knockoff Vena Warrior Princess type gar

(26:34):
I still have the photo with the
explosion in the background funny memory
still cannot find the video for that
though
haha that's pretty
cool hello do you want to come
here
um right what else have we got for me
okay right so there's a review of Tina
turn at the Fairfield halls in Cen okay

(26:57):
um
as the dark stranger the Georgio maroda
David Bo classic cat people crawl out
crawl out across the hall the spotlight
suddenly picks out the crouched and
slinking figure of Tina Turner she
steals across the stage to her
microphone hunkered down and ready to
pounce a glorious mixture of tangibly

(27:20):
dangerous feline stealth and cunning and
barely restrained
sexuality here's a woman who italics
knows she is extremely sexy and isn't
afraid to use that to her
Advantage should mention anything about
her singing or um well the the primary

(27:40):
reason is her voice a stunning throaty
sensual sound that straddles her early
Blues Origins and the modern rock and
roll material that now comprises the
majority of her Set uh her voice sounds
as comfortable barnstorming through the
self pen classic NB city limits or
foreigners night life as it does on the
somewhat gentler r Deep Mountain High
well the touching almost Gospel

(28:00):
rearrangement of The Beatles Help the
tunes may be familiar but their
performance is quite unique so I found
this as well and obviously we're not
going to be able to hear it on you phone
them um but um it's interesting because
it's before like Private Dancer and like
the best and all the sort of really
well-known 8s hit so she's doing like

(28:21):
loads of um cover versions
I mean it's the entire concert all right
okay well we can't watch that we can
watch this another time but um speaking
of let me see if this is what I was
looking

(28:43):
[Music]
for guess who this is you might guess
already
no do I get a
[Music]
clue um

(29:06):
no when I
saw I feel like I should know this I
done so when you think of
[Music]
this this sounds more like
um is it hot chocolate

(29:30):
Tony ferino it
is
[Music]
yes this is actually quite a good song
is it this is the Forgotten Steve kouan

(29:53):
car um yeah I I remember watching like
the whole special that he did well I
went to see the man who thinks he's it
that was what it's called was it um I
remember I I sure he
sang Private
Dancer I mean maybe I'm getting mixed up
with l dancing lady but

(30:15):
I it feels like the sort of song that he
would sing as Tony Fino but
um Papa bendy
well that's what just
[Music]
youtubed so maybe maybe I was thinking

(30:35):
LP dancing do
because Tony fro bu Kim
wild there's not a lot of Tonyo is there
no there's a whole album what's on the
album

(30:56):
um that lap dancing lady
song has
just taken me back like about 30 years
help yourself Papa bendy other the men's
wives biger me at Christmas taxi taxi
shortterm Affair Sunday for me on your
phone put biger me at Christmas on

(31:17):
because that sounds like it's going to
be
funny although who's got what's got the
most views other men's wise oh no
helpself has got 2,000
help yourself has got the most
views I've accidentally just clicked on
bigam me so I'm getting loads of
videos

(31:41):
[Music]
[Music]
1996 that's a really good question isn't
it like what do men do who have two
families
so like men who get themselves in the
situation where they've got two separate

(32:03):
families how do they work at Christmas
um because you can't say I'm working I'm
out that day how do they do it there was
a two Vonn sketch I don't want the
sketches I want real life answers well
we need to if you're a
bigamist how do it work but how do it
work how would it work some people do

(32:24):

(32:45):

divorce what does bigamist stand for how
does a bigger Mist to do Christmas is
that an question answered
it's not coming
up Christmas in a polygamous
family n polygam is easy you got all

(33:06):
there you got them all under one
roof cuz aren there some men who do it
like they haven't just got one family
they might have loads of families well
yeah you hear about it don't you but so
what Earth do they do I suppose you know
you lie from if once you got one lie
that's fine isn't it

(33:29):
um Historical Society of Carol County
17th of December 2000 accused bigamist
spent 1900 Christmas in
[Music]
jail the local 1900 holiday was
interrupted by a sensational court
hearing involving a Pleasant Valley
woman and accused B and an accused

(33:50):
bigamist not surprisingly the case
received considerable press coverage
including a lengthy article on the
December 15 that's not giving us the
answer that's just he's in prison at
Christmas so if anything he's that's his
easy Christmas because he's in prison
right how did she get caught how did he
get
caught um blah blah blah I don't think

that um is it the one that was on
guitar I can't remember what he's

(36:24):
called did you know the business energy

you what is on my mix
today on my my mix is uh Len carit human

(36:45):

(37:09):

Thunderbirds Are Go nice bleet with Mark
Seven Wonders oh you've moved away a bit
from CU it's it's lot of a hyper
fixation but for a while list for a
while all all she played

(37:30):

with the light on Williams happy it's so

(38:32):
accurate this
uh Batman soundtrack YY busted air air
hostess poison L PL Ghost Rats who and
finally uh Prince I Would I you I mean
accurate I absolutely rate YouTube's um

(38:53):
ability to put a playlist together for
me as 10 out of 10 they get they
they're like but you've trained it well
oh yeah I've trained it well yeah I've
spent a lot of time
yeah um so yeah there you go you can
steal that playlist if you want it's
probably you you need to get your

(39:13):
own just you just play that bit back
just make a note of it yeah I mean I
suppose I could that could be a
supplemental playlist I could create no
one else is going to be interested in
that mix of stuff
yeah but they're not who would be I know
I'm just obsessed with making playlists

(39:33):
I
guess um so we've got an article about
Wendy O Williams I think you should add
lap dancing lady on Play Already Done
okay um talking of lap dancing um and
wendia Williams I don't know if you know
much about she was in a bank called the

(39:54):
plasmatics she made some adult films
and she had a sort of runchy sort of
stage presence you know she didn't wear
a lot of clothes um but uh this article
is saying she's released a solo album
and it was produced by Jean
Simmons um it's got Paul Stanley on it I

(40:16):
think it's got Ace Freely on it as well
and um there's a song called I love sex
and rock and roll okay and I listen to
this and it sounds like [ __ ] lick it
up you know it's it's squarely in sort
of 80s kiss
territory and then I looked her up and

(40:36):
she was a lifelong ve vegetarian in uh
campaigner for animal rights nice
refused to wear makeup that had been
tested on animals nice seemed like a
pretty cool
lady um so there you go Wendy Williams
um there's an interview with Kate Bush
um

(40:57):
a girl for All Season interviewed by
Mick wall most these talks about how
much he fances her and she doesn't
really say very much but I thought it's
just generally interesting that there's
a whole interview with Kate Bush in
karang because you just never yeah
expect that would you
[Music]

(41:18):
um I mean I tried I tried to find some
interesting quotes in another life could
you have made a career of dancing I
don't know there was a time i' been
dancing for about a year and a half and
I was never sure if an album was going
to manifest itself that I thought if you
want to be a dancer you should do it now
because I had people approaching me at
the dance class asking if I wanted to go

(41:39):
to Germany and danc in clubs and things
and for a time I really got into the
dance thing much more seriously than I
thought I would but I don't think I was
good enough I didn't stand out
enough and she had the she had the same
dance teacher as d as taught David Bowie
mime
right okay and he was and I'm really

(42:01):
struggling to remember his name but he
was in the Wicker man as the
uh
bartender okay in the in the green man
um
Lindsay I I'll find I'll find out and
I'll cut it
in
um oh she likes winter she talks about
she likes all the seasons but she likes

(42:21):
winter the best right that's the the
only thing I really gleaned from this
article um
I like all the seasons they each have
something to bring she replies
enigmatic it's good to know um but you
know I mean December will be magic again
it's a [ __ ] classic isn't it it

(42:44):
is okay I mean we're pretty much at the
end of the uh magazine now oh you know
you mention you mentioned Lenny kravit
yeah I I think I know why he's a bit
sort of crazy on social media and he's
just like doing Mad things
like like working out in the gym where

(43:05):
while we wearing leather pants and stuff
yeah he's been like celibate for eight
years right so why um but what what's
that got to do with social media
presence because
like so she's been I think he he's been
voluntarily he's been voluntarily
celibate because he wants to be with he

(43:27):
wants to find a person that he can be
you know sort of monogamous with all
right no offense I'd be up for the
challenge but may like maybe if he W I'm
I suspect if he wasn't celibate he
wouldn't be doing crazy things on social
media he'd be just getting on think he's
just working out Lea trousers but he
can't help looking

(43:48):
sexy he could be taking out a bag of
[ __ ] and he would be looking sexy
wouldn't he um he's got dogs hasn't he
so he will be picking up bags of [ __ ]
bags of [ __ ] oh God yeah I can't be
doing that again someone else go from
one person to another and they're still
carrying out bags of
[ __ ] it's all you may ever do and I
don't think he he do eat burgers or

(44:09):
anything he eats all raw yeah food I'm
not sure I could do the raw thing yeah I
mean being a vegan's one thing but being
a raw vegan is [ __ ] hell yeah that'd
be a bit much I get too cold I'd need
something warm to eat you know what I'm
like yeah well I think you can
still no because if you he up that's
cooking right is
it you can leave it out in the sun well

(44:32):
he said most he said mostly raw I'm sure
he has like vegetable soup or
something I I I can't imagine Lenny CRA
is eating soup it's like with the hot
water ball isn't it it's just not a AOL
sexy thing to
um if it
was

(44:55):
um then you can could blow up go on to
my searches he's the first one okay not
surprising um he's 60 ladies and
[Music]
gentlemen is he 60 believe so maybe he
just had so much sex he just got sort of
bored with it CU you would wouldn't you

(45:16):
if you were
[Music]
him I guess so you'd have to ask
him so if you're listening Lenny um and
you do want appear on a podcast where
we're weirdly obsessed with you not a
chance that I would be able to have
a a conversation with ridiculous he's a

(45:39):
ridiculous human being just look at any
picture he's ridic he's
ridiculous I mean one of the comments is
uh
funny I mean that's not going to work in
an audio Medium you're going to have to
I am not explaining that it was an emoji

(46:00):
too
cheeky
um smokes though doesn't he does he in
one of well I think in one of those
um
videos um he

(46:24):
was smoking really
yeah well be the only he's old school
isn't he he's not going to vape he's
gonna it looks cool to smoke because
obviously everyone knows smoking looks
cool um but so maybe I won't
bother if he
asks like like Aon Holmes would not date

(46:46):
Taylor Swift you would not you not date
then gra it first of all unless he
stopped smoking first of all [ __ ] you
because uh you just
um liking me to aan Holmes and I won't
let you forget that um you piece of [ __ ]
thanks I think I had to because it was

(47:07):
the it was the nearest thing I could
think
of um shill up how about that I'm not
saying you like aan
Holmes you really
did although no aan Holmes is to coming

(47:27):
around to being a vegan no yeah
yeah yeah H yeah yeah this guy watch
called David Rams he's a
um like a he does podcasts
um and speaks to people on you know
veganism and stuff and aan Holmes has
started following him and

(47:50):
um said um well let's have a quick see
if I get any sort of answer on Google um
Aon Holmes fun I Googled aan Holmes and
my face comes
up
um then then I'll see what you mean I
don't look like him um I don't think
anyone's saying

(48:12):
you so he has
said
in the
well nearly but he has said something
since I don't know when this was uh when
when was

(48:34):
this oh April 24th fairly
recently um aan Holmes has opened up on
his big regret despite loving animals um
and he's got rescued dog he's upset that
he hasn't been able to completely avoid
eating meat products um I do have a big
regret and it's worry with me that I'm
not a vegetarian be better we go to

(48:55):
supermarket and get sausages we think
they come from a packet we don't realize
they come from pigs or cows we don't
realize what goes on I would certainly
aspire to become a vegetarian
certainly
um yeah so when he says he's not able to
avoid it it's like someone just shoving
it into his face
um well it's interesting isn't it

(49:15):
because once you have that mindset it
seems odd but I mean never know know I
bet I've said stuff like that in the
past people do but and but and he
started following this David Rams so
obviously he's got
some sort of uh interest there so watch
this space It Could Happen yeah so and
maybe we'll start dating Taylor Swift as

(49:36):
well exactly and then it's open for me
no wait I'm not already decided not I
mean you are
married ah potato
potato bigamy oh yeah bigam and then and
then we can find out the answer to that
question I'll see what I end up having
to do with Christmas so that's the theme

(49:56):
for this episode me I think probably
it'll be okay for me though because I
imagine he's busy a lot he'll be like
I've got to record something go on tour
and I'll be like that's fine I'll let
you record you've got week off now over
Christmas I'm going to let you record
stuff I'm going to give you some space
and be like where you going I'll be like

(50:17):
oh just I'm going to go and see my
family you know and then I can come and
see you and then you won't
know okay so be fine you get me for
Christmas that's fine that sounds like a
good deal right yeah stop complaining if
you
can maybe siphon off some of the kravit
millions try redirect it in my direction

(50:40):
um yeah I can try okay well this uh
issue of crang is ending on an advert
for the album hail to England by man of
war and it says it features the single
Defender featuring ORS and Wells and my
friend used to have this 12-in single
and it starts off and awesome Wells is
doing this kind of oratory at the

(51:00):
beginning of it and there's not a lot of
heavy metal bands that had a actor of
awesome Wells caliber on their album so
fair play to man of war I'll stick that
on the playlist I don't like that the
albums got man of war left aligned and
not Center aligned given that there
seems it just that's upsetting me look

(51:21):
it looks like the the logo the the logo
type is actually part of the artwork it
it looks like they've sort of drawn that
on yeah but you see what I mean I I
Central L that I don't know why you
would do that no cuz there's

(51:41):
no there's no space between the m and
the left side as well that's horrible I
don't want that but on the single is
yeah well I mean it's not I don't mind
it touching the sides if it all touches
the
sides or you could just you can have it
smaller and on the on the edge but then
it's sort of left
[Music]
aligned yeah well this is fun

(52:03):
conversation this is we're back on Logo
talk and font
talk it's good font yeah there's a
muscular man with a England flag on I
mean they are
American really the The Lads from Man of
War I believe so yeah that's interesting
um W witness the man of war spectacle of

(52:24):
Might for the first time in the UK
um playing The Hammer Smith odion of
course they are Nottingham Rock City
Manchester Apollo I've been to all these
places um and special guest Merciful
Fate uh so do you want to do if you got
a message to leave our listeners with do

(52:44):
do you want to recommend anything do you
want to give a shout out to anything um
nope just talk about
bigamy yeah go over listen to your
playlist
yeah and um as we always say stay metal
stay
[Music]
metal bye
