Hi friend,

In this quick update, I'm sharing a little about why things have been quiet lately and why I'm hitting pause to take my advice to reflect, reset, and refresh. To Be still and remember He is still God, especially during the most difficult seasons of our life.

Please know it's certainly not goodbye, just a short break to adjust and come back stronger. In the meantime, I hope you'll subscribe, go back and listen to your favorite episodes, and keep sharing with other moms who need to catch their breath.

Till then, remember - in every challenging season of life or homeschooling, pause. Breathe. And remember, He is God, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Thanks for your understanding and all the support!

xo,

Inga

Have you missed me? Well, I've missed you and today's episode is going to be
a short episode just to give you an update on what's going on and what's to come, so tune in.
Just like the safety instructions on an airplane, we must secure our own oxygen
mask before helping others.
Well, this is your reminder to put your oxygen mask on. Hi, I'm Inga.

(00:22):
Music.
A certified life coach and educator with over 30 years of experience in curriculum and instruction.
As a homeschooling mom of four, I understand the challenges and the overwhelm
that can come from trying to juggle it all.
In this podcast, we'll explore practical tips to prioritize our holistic well-being

(00:44):
and simple steps to make homeschooling a little bit easier so you can stress less and enjoy more.
Sometimes, we just need a reminder to take a pause, prepare,
and recover from the demands of homeschooling and life.
To be still and remember that He is God, and that we can do all things,
and that includes homeschooling our children through Christ who strengthens us.

(01:08):
And so friend, I pray that you will take this moment to catch your breath.
Welcome to a very short and brief episode of the Catch Your Breath podcast.
I don't even know if we can call this an episode, but I do want to give you
a heads up of what is going on with me.

(01:32):
Of course, I want to check in with you first. So how are you doing?
What is going on with you in your life, in your homeschool.
I know that it's a challenging season for me and I'm praying that you are able
to take care of yourself in this season.
I want to give you a quick update to

(01:52):
just let you know that I know you've probably noticed that things have been
a little quiet on my end and honestly the last few weeks have thrown me a couple
of curveballs and I've been trying to figure it out, take it all in stride.
And quite recently, my mother passed away and I have been really trying to deal with that.

(02:19):
She's been the most amazing mom. She has been my best friend, my constant.
Person I could just call on the phone, no matter what. She's been my cheerleader.
She's been all of that. And so it's hit pretty hard.
And I've decided that I need to hit pause for just a bit and do what I always

(02:41):
talk about doing, take a moment to catch my breath, because it does feel like
the wind has been knocked out of me completely.
And so I am taking a break from the podcast. It's not a goodbye for sure,
because I love coming and talking to you, But it is a break as I try to adjust
to this new normal and take care of my father.

(03:02):
My mother and my dad have been married for almost 60 years.
It's been about 58 years. They're going to make 59 this year.
And so you can imagine that he is taking it really hard.
And I need to be there to support him, to take care of all of the things that
need to be taken care of on this end.

(03:22):
So I just want to give you that update. I want to thank you for sticking with
me, for all your support.
For those of you who know and have reached out, I want you to know I sincerely appreciate you.
It means more than I can say, and I have not been able to really gather the
words to express my emotions of what's going on.

(03:43):
But I do want you to know that I will be back as soon as I can with more to
share and ready to jump back into our conversations.
And I may even have some guests fill in for me.
I pray that you are taking care of yourself, that you will please just keep
me and my family in your prayers. And I will catch you.
