While the full outcomes of the meeting may take some time to emerge, one thing is clear: the relationship between the club and its supporters must improve - because the status quo quite simply isn't working. On the pitch, a morale-boosting win over Motherwell offered some much-needed positivity and could spark new life into the campaign for several players, including Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Arne Engels, and Daizen Maeda. The international break now gives Brendan Rodgers and his squad the chance to regroup and refocus before setting their sights on reeling in league leaders Hearts.
