Misattunement

In the final days, the abiding masses huddle in the lands unclaimed by the mysterious black hole. This pitch-dark curtain has swallowed countries, oceans, and populations whole, and no one has been able to emerge from the creeping void... until now. As mankind's existence slowly wanes, they are graced by those who'd been claimed by the black hole once more. Though, those that return are far from the person they were before.
