some of the approvals and
decisions made during the City Commission
meeting held on Monday, June
9, 2025. The following items
were approved during the meeting. Two

resolutions, the first amending the city
salary plan for fiscal
year 2024 through 2025 by adding various
job classifications and
updating the pay grade and
salary ranges for certain job
classifications and a second companion
resolution amending the full
time equivalent budget for certain
departments and for certain funds for

fiscal year 2024 through
2025. Mayor Keith A. James proclaimed the
month of June 2025 as LGBTQ
plus Pride Month in the city
of West Palm Beach. The commission
approved a resolution
authorizing the assessment of city
liens in the total amount of $13,826.15

for unpaid water service,
sewer service, and storm water
service for the month of February 2025.
Approved resolution for the
settlement agreement totaling
$55,000 in the matter of Celestion A.
Nov. v. the City of West Palm Beach.
Approved resolution waving a potential

Greenberg Trowig P.A.'s
representation of Norden Museum of Art in
connection with a proposed ground lease
transaction and its representation of the
city in unrelated matters.
Approved an ordinance after
second public hearing on a privately

development regulations Article 4 and
Article 19 to provide additional
standards for hospital use
within the downtown master plan and to
further clarify the
existing definition for hospitals.

North Railroad Avenue District
to eliminate the height in stories
requirement for residential developments
utilizing the downtown

traffic and parking at sections 86-245
and 86-246 to revise
the permit requirements and approval
process for construction traffic
management and construction
parking plans. Approved a resolution
approving a seventh amendment to the
interlocal agreement

for fire vehicle maintenance between Palm
Beach County and the
City of West Palm Beach.
Approved resolution approving amendment
number four to the Tamron
Parcel lease and transit village
PPP-C board LLC for the seaboard train
station to extend the commencement date.
Approved resolution approving the

transfer of city funds in
fiscal year of 2024 to 2025
for the purpose of amending the grants
capital project fund budget to provide
additional appropriations for the Curry
Park redevelopment project.
Approved a resolution authorizing the
provision of child care services at
Pleasant City and South

Olive Community Centers and approving a
state of Florida statewide school
readiness provider contract
and a children's services provider
contract to provide funding for the
provision of said services.
Approved resolution for the service
agreement with JD Thornton
Nurseries Inc. in the amount of
$108,910 for the relocation of large

specimen trees within
Drer Park to accommodate the
development of the Boys and Girls Club.
Approved resolution
authorizing the appropriation or
transfer of city funds amending the 2020
general obligation bond
fund providing $350,000
from bond fund reserves to fully fund the
construction of the Bryan

Chappelle Park fishing pier.
Approved a pair of companion resolutions
the first accepting a
donation from the fund
for West Palm Beach Police Department in
the amount of $89,165
for the expansion of the
city camera and license plate reader
project and the second companion
resolution recognizing

and appropriating a donation of $89,165
from the fund for West
Palm Beach Police Department
in the fiscal year of 2024 to 2025 for
the expansion of the city
camera and license plate
reader project. Approved a resolution
amending the fiscal year
2024 2025 miscellaneous trust

fund budget to authorize appropriations
of $196,653 from the
state law enforcement
forfeiture receipts for law enforcement
