Edition of the City Center podcast from
West Palm Beach, Florida.
I'm Jerry Marcello.
In today's show, we'll be covering a few
of the road and dock closures taking
place around the city of West Palm Beach.
But first, some news about new road

(01:00:20):
closures associated with the West Palm
Beach green market, which takes place on
the city's downtown waterfront.
The city of West Palm Beach is taking
immediate measures to increase public
safety and security at the nationally
celebrated green market,
affected Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Beginning at 5 a.m., Saturday, January

(01:00:40):
11, all vehicular traffic will be
prohibited on the following streets in
the area surrounding the green market and
the antique and flea market.
North and South Flagler Drive between
Banyan Boulevard and Datura Street.
South Dixie Highway, also known as U.S.
1, from Banyan
Boulevard to Datura Street.

(01:01:02):
North and South Olive Avenue from Banyan
Boulevard to Datura Street.
North and South Narcissus Avenue from
Banyan Boulevard to Datura Street.
All vehicular closings are effective each
Saturday of the green market and antique
flea market from 5 a.m. through 4 p.m.
In regards to parking, enhanced security

will not affect off-street
parking in the downtown area.
The Banyan Boulevard Garage and the City
Center Garage will still allow free
parking during green market
and antique flea market times.
Only the Banyan Boulevard entrances to
the two garages will be open.
The South Dixie Highway access from South
Dixie Highway will be closed.

The Clamata Street Garage, located just
west of Quadrill Boulevard, is not
affected by the enhanced security.
Now here are some other closures
associated with regular
events happening around the city.
For Clamata Spy Night on Thursday,
January 16th, North and South Clamata
Streets between Narcissus
Avenue and Flagler Drive

and Lantana Avenue between Banyan
Boulevard and North Clamata Street,
and Narcissus between Drama Works Alley
and North Clamata Street
from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.
City Place closure, which takes place on
Friday, January 10th
through Sunday, January 12th,
and then again on Friday, January 17th

through Sunday, January 19th, Rosemary
Avenue between Okeechobee Boulevard and
Hibiscus Street will be closed.
Supercar Sunday, which takes place on
Sunday, January 12th.
Expect North and South Clamata Streets
between Narcissus
Avenue and Flagler Drive,
and Flagler Drive between Banyan
Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue will be

closed from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Turning our attention to City of West
Palm Beach boat docks,
Curry Park boat docks and ramps at 2400
North Flagler Drive will be open daily
from sunrise to sunset.
The boat ramps at Lake Mangonia Park at
2957 North Australia Avenue ramps are

open daily from sunrise to sunset.
And Clamata Street docks South Clamata
Street and South Flagler Drive are open
daily from 5 a.m. until midnight.
Fern Street dock, which is at Fern Street
and South Flagler Drive, the dock will be
open from 5 a.m. until midnight.
No overnight dockage is allowed for
boats, dinghies, or kayaks.

and long-term closures
happening around the city.
