(01:00:00):
Welcome to the Road and Dock edition of
the City Center
podcast from West Palm Beach,
Florida.
I'm Jerry Marcello.
Here are some closures associated with
the Palm Beach
International Boat Show, which
runs from Wednesday, March
19th through Sunday, March 23rd.
As you might imagine, there's a great

(01:00:20):
deal of preparation
involved at the West Palm Beach
waterfront, so there are several closures
you need to know about
that are taking place
well before the show begins and lasting
till after it closes.
First, let's go over the dates and times
of the Palm Beach
International Boat Show.
The show kicks off on Wednesday, March
19th, with hours from
12 noon to 7 pm that day.

(01:00:43):
Then, from Thursday, March 20th through
Saturday, the 22nd, the
doors will be open at 10 am
and close at 7 pm.
It all wraps up on Sunday afternoon,
March 23rd, with the
doors closing at 5 pm.
Now, onto the road closures associated
with the show and
preparation for the show.

(01:01:04):
Pay attention, there's a
quiz at the end of this list.
The northbound lanes of Flagler Drive,
from Lakeview to Fern,
will be closed between
7 am and 6 pm on Monday,
March 3rd and Tuesday, March 4th.
Since northbound only,
southbound remains opened.

(01:01:24):
The Flagler Drive closures then expand
northward to Banyan, starting on
Wednesday, March 5th.
So northbound Flagler Drive, between
Lakeview and Banyan, will
close beginning at 6 am,
March 5th and stay closed through 6 pm on
Wednesday, March 26th.

(01:01:44):
The southbound lanes of Flagler will
close as well, starting
on Saturday, March 15th,
at 3 pm, and stay
closed until March 26th.
So you'll have to avoid Flagler Drive
completely between Lakeview
and Banyan from March 15th
through the 26th.
While the southbound lanes of Flagler
Drive will open to traffic
on Wednesday, March 26th,

(01:02:06):
the northbound lanes will be closed from
Lakeview to Banyan through
the 28th and from Lakeview
to Fern on March 31st.
If you're curious about the city docks at
Fern and Clamatus,
well, just forget about
it.
They'll be closed from March 3rd through
the 31st, for obvious reasons.

(01:02:26):
I was just kidding about a quiz.
Beyond the boat show, there will be other
short-term and
long-term closures happening
around the city.
