(00:00):
Good afternoon. Good afternoon. So we are... Well, it's evening.
Well, yeah, well, depending on what day you're talking about.
But let's get to the topic. What do you want to talk about today?
Well, you sound so enthusiastic. It sounds like you have one.
No, I don't have a specific topic because I wanted to say something last week
(00:20):
and I forgot what I wanted to say.
Is there anything that you want... You mean two weeks ago? Yeah. Did you have something?
You wanted to talk about... I know there's a number of things we can talk about
is the Olympics, the opening ceremony, but I don't think, I think if people
don't get it, then, you know, they need to.
I'm not rehashing what the enemy's doing. Yeah. I'm interested in debating this stuff.
(00:43):
But sometimes we do, right? So that we can highlight things.
But if people can't get some basic principles.
And if you don't know what's happening at the Olympic opening ceremonies,
then you must be living under a rock. Okay. So that was one topic.
Is there another one? And rocks are not bad things.
The one topic, actually, I listened to one of our podcasts recently from earlier
in the year, and you said, a topic we really should talk about is the Trinity. The Trinity.
(01:10):
That's what you said at the end of the podcast. I just listened to it in the
last day, and it was from February. No, sorry, March.
Yeah. And at the end of the podcast,
you said, you know, a topic we really should address is the Trinity.
And I thought to myself, that's interesting. We haven't addressed the Trinity.
I'm not sure what you want to talk about on that.
Well, I think the reason is because I think there's confusion within the Christian
(01:33):
circles regarding the Trinity.
It's like you have to believe a certain doctrine or a certain idea of what the
Trinity is, or else if you don't, then you're not saved.
And I know that there's been a number of people through the centuries,
and even now that if you don't, if you do believe in the Trinity, then you're not saved.
(01:59):
So that's why the Trinity has been a big discussion because we know that the
word Trinity is not in the Scripture.
Not actually written in the Scripture. So if I just say to you,
explain the Trinity or, because remember we had one person once come to our gathering.
And the question was, are you guys Trinitarian?
(02:22):
And I'm thinking, why do we use secular terms, or should I say doctrinal terms,
to speak about the Word of God?
Now, I understand what you're saying, but the question you should ask is,
do you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and there's no way to the Father except by Him?
(02:44):
That's the question. The question isn't, do you believe in the Trinity or are
you guys Trinitarian? Unitarian, right?
And so… Well, there is a denomination that doesn't believe in the Trinity.
I know there's a lot of them.
I think it's called Unitarian or something like that. The Apostolic.
So there's a few that don't… But they do believe Jesus is the Son of God and
(03:07):
he died on the cross. They just don't believe in the Trinity.
Yeah, and the question is… But then there's some that are so dogmatic about
the Trinity that if you don't spark Trinitarian and Trinity stuff,
stuff then you are not you know then there's something there's heresy
involved so so before we get
into the topic i'll ask you a couple of questions to see how well
versed you are that's lovely thank you put
(03:30):
you on the hot seat even though i gave you the topic okay well so i'll put you
on the hot seats first question is how do you get saved how does one get saved
what does the word saved mean well saved means we are saved from destruction or separation from god.
So you mean reconciled to God?
(03:51):
So being saved, it's not something we aren't saved...
I mean, we use it's really Christianese to say, oh, a person's saved with the
implication that we belong to Christ.
But we're not really saved until the point of death, because at the point of
death, that is the point of being saved.
So how can a person be assured of their salvation, as the scripture says,
(04:14):
if you say is at the point of death? Well, it's by faith.
You are saved by faith. Saved by grace, but it's through faith.
Okay, and that's Romans what? 8.
Romans 8? Maybe Romans 11.
By grace we have been saved. It's not true.
(04:35):
You mean Ephesians 2 verse 8 to 10, and I think you're also referring to Romans 10.
That's exactly, no, Romans 10, 9 and 10 is the one I was saying where if you
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, You will be saved.
With the heart one believes unto salvation, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(05:04):
Okay, so in terms of salvation, in other words being saved, so in terms of being
saved, what you're saying is the key topic is that you need to believe that
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
And he died on the cross for us. He died for our sins, that we may be reconciled to God. That's right.
Our death's paid. Nothing to do with the believing Trinity.
(05:26):
No, nothing to do with believing Trinity. Okay.
And when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, what happens?
When you accept He's your Lord and Savior, then you do… The Holy Spirit,
we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. That's right.
The Holy Spirit comes upon you or comes inside you, and He's the one who transforms.
(05:48):
Okay. And you can't say that Jesus… Into the image of the Son.
And you can't say that Jesus is Lord without Holy Spirit.
So Holy Spirit is the one that's convicting, it says in John.
Okay, so you are really… Sorry? You're really… Okay.
We're really confessing the fact of the Trinity, right? In that, right?
But the key thing is, to be saved, it is accepting Jesus, Yeshua as your Lord and Savior.
(06:14):
You know, there's Lord meaning your owner, one that you will obey,
and Savior, one that you will trust in him, not in your own works. Correct.
So now I'll ask you the question is, explain to somebody, so someone says to
you, let's say I'm Muslim, and makes a statement to you like this.
You Christians believe there are three gods, okay?
(06:38):
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. You see, you believe in three gods.
And the Bible is very clear. In Deuteronomy, it says that the Lord our God is one.
So, if the Lord our God is one, how can he be three?
Well, first you have to establish that there are three parts to the one God.
(07:03):
And even in Hebrew, that word one, it's plural, isn't it? Is that where it's plural?
Is it right in Genesis 1 when it talks about this plural?
Let us make man in our image. God is speaking to the Son and Holy Spirit.
How do you know he's speaking to the Son? Well, Holy Spirit was hovering over
(07:24):
the face of the deep, and the Father said, let there be light, and he spoke the word.
And then in John 1.1, it says, In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was God, and the Word was with God.
So there's indication that in creation you have the Father speaking,
Holy Spirit hovering, and Jesus is the Word. He's the Word being spoken.
So there's evidence right in the beginning. So then when Deuteronomy says,
(07:47):
the Lord our God is one, it's like a husband and wife become one.
They're two separate people, but when they come together, they are one.
Okay. So what do you mean by one? Well, it says what God has put together, let no man separate.
It says, remind me where it says a husband and wife shall come together as one.
(08:11):
Is that the same word? You tell me.
No, I'm asking you from your understanding. Is that the same word,
one, that's in Genesis 2 where it says, a husband and a wife,
the two shall become one.
Is that the same word? Yes, it is the same word.
And so we know that a husband and a wife don't actually physically become one, but they are one.
(08:35):
But they are one, yeah. So one in what sense? Well, they're united in spirit.
Yeah. They're united in action.
What do you mean in action? Well, physical. Okay, yeah. And they're united under a covenant.
Okay. Body, mind, spirit, yeah. Well, not mind, I guess, but body and spirit. Body and soul, yes.
(08:57):
Okay, where's the scripture for that? It says the two shall become one.
I know where it becomes. Okay, so let's understand. So what does the word one actually mean?
Is it actually singular or is there another word for one?
Sounds like you know the answer to this. Oh, but I'm asking you a question.
(09:18):
Like, if the two become one, wouldn't that mean that the two become united?
It says in John 17, it says, I pray that they be one as we are one.
Yes. Okay. John 17, Yeshua is praying to his Father. Yeah.
And you and I are one. Yeah, he says that. Yeah, so he's asking us to be one.
(09:40):
So what one is that referring to?
It's the same one. One in purpose, one in assignment.
One in assignment, one in purpose, one in your thinking, you're motivated by God.
So you are totally one with him. So husband and wife should be one with each
other, like have the same vision, same purpose, same direction.
(10:03):
They should be one. When a marriage is fractured, then they have different purposes.
They have different designs.
Now, they may have different roles and different responsibilities,
but the direction is still the same.
So going back to God the Father now, the Muslims will say, well,
Jesus says the Father is greater than I.
(10:26):
And that's true. Jesus himself said that. And then you have Christians will
say, oh, well, that was before the cross, Andre.
That was before the cross. He was a human on earth.
Therefore, he says the Father and greater than him. him i'm going
no not only was that at
the before the cross nothing was different even after the cross for example
(10:50):
in 1 corinthians 11 it says the head of every man is christ and the head of
christ is god so it talks about the through the the hierarchy so the hierarchy
is still there So in terms of authority,
God the Father is the top, then the Son.
He puts his word above his name, his assignment. And so what do you mean?
(11:15):
The name is the Holy Spirit.
So he puts his word above his name.
What do you mean his name is Holy Spirit? The name, the assignment,
the motivation, the motivation that we have is inspired by Holy Spirit.
So he puts his word, in other words, what governs his assignment is the word.
(11:37):
So he puts his word above his name.
You also look at, so in terms, but the fact that Jesus is the word.
And then the Holy Spirit is the name.
And now Yeshua says, what are you doing in my name? In other words,
in my assignment. But isn't it amazing that Yeshua says in John 16 that the
(11:59):
Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you into all truth. He will not speak of himself.
Whatever he hears from me, he will speak. So he will not speak of himself.
In other words, he is there to promote Yeshua and Yeshua, the Word of God.
And then what is the word of God? What is the word of God to do?
(12:21):
He is to point to God the Father.
Which is to reconcile us back to the Father. So you can see this continual trend.
So then going back to what?
So we understand from the scripture, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
They are all, the one above is God the Father, then the Son, then the Holy Spirit.
(12:44):
That's the hierarchical order. What is amazing is that the difference also is
that they have the same nature.
Like God's Son means God. The Holy Spirit is God. In other words,
they were from eternity.
They are all-knowing. Someone would say, well, Christ is not all-knowing because
(13:08):
if he was all-knowing… You can't take all the podcasts. I was going to say that. Okay.
You're talking about when he comes back. No, no, no. You're talking about when
he comes back. Yes. That God the Father says.
No, no. No, no, that Yeshua said. He said, I do not know the time,
the, where do I, I do not know the hour.
He says neither the sun, neither the sun nor the angels know the.
(13:32):
Hour or the day. Yeah. But he doesn't say week or month or year.
Yeah, but again, the point is he doesn't. He doesn't know.
In other words, the Father knows. So if he doesn't know, they would say. Are they one?
Are they one? Yeah. Yeah, and what's your answer? We're not asking you.
No, I jumped in with the question.
I knew you were going there. Well, if you look at it from a...
(13:53):
Well, I understand why, I think. Why do you think?
Because the Father knows how much Yeshua loves his people.
So you think he didn't tell him? Because if he told him, then he would tell...
Do you think that Yeshua loves the people more than his Father loves people?
You're going to say that. Well, exactly, because for God so loved the world
(14:13):
that he gave his only begotten son.
So why wouldn't he tell his son?
I think that is the reason why. So the idea of, in terms of being God,
a person has to be eternal, okay?
So we're God eternal, all-knowing, and all-powerful. So omnipotent,
omnipresent, and omniscient.
(14:35):
And you can see this. So, for example, I can go to each of the Holy Spirit,
not God the Father, but even Yeshua.
He's from the very, very beginning. it talks about that God has a son.
In other words, he comes from God. He's the only begotten of God.
And some people say, well, what about Adam? Well, the difference is Adam is not eternal.
(14:59):
Adam was created from the sand, and then life was breathed into him.
And the nature, the word of God's nature is of God, where Adam's nature,
his image is an image of God, but he was from dust, right?
Right, and that's why when Christ took on flesh, that was a big deal.
(15:21):
It wasn't a small deal. This was a huge deal that he took on flesh.
That means for eternity, he will be different from the Father.
So at what point do you think Yeshua knew his assignment? At what age?
Well, we've got other things going on. I want to close some of these things,
right? We need to close some of these areas because now we've opened a lot of
doors. Why the Father hasn't shared with the Son?
(15:43):
But we need to establish firstly that they have the nature, the same nature.
In other words, they are God because they are eternal, they know, and they are powerful.
In other words, for example, Yeshua says, I myself can do nothing.
(16:05):
Unless. No. Well, he's done this what? My father. No, it doesn't say that.
So, we're adding to the scripture. It doesn't say that. It says, I myself can do nothing.
Okay. Whatever I see the father do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever I see the father
do. The son does likewise. Yes.
I was going to say, unless I see my father do it. But, yeah,
wrong quote. No, okay. No, but good. It's an NIV version probably.
(16:33):
Okay, point taken. Moving right along. Okay, so, yeah. So, he says, I myself can do nothing.
I myself can do nothing. So, what do you mean he can do nothing?
Because he lays hands on the sick, they recover.
But he says, when he sees the father, there's the son. In other words,
he recognizes that his power comes from the Lord.
So he is totally reliant on the Father. Surrendered, right?
(16:57):
But yet he does all the same stuff. Like the Bible says that all judgment has been given to the Son.
So the Son is going to be doing, on judgment day, the Son is going to be doing the judgment.
That's how powerful the Son is. He has all authority.
So then you should ask, okay, going back to the question is,
(17:18):
how is it that Yeshua doesn't know the hour or the day?
So how is it that Yeshua doesn't know the hour and the day?
Well, first you need to understand that there was a transformation that took
place when Christ was born.
As a human baby. He really existed before.
He had to, the Bible says, take on the form of a man.
(17:42):
That's why the scripture says he grew in wisdom. I'm thinking,
well, he is all wisdom. How can he grow in wisdom?
And stature and favor with God. He had to grow in this wisdom.
In other words, he had to take on wisdom.
Take on the form of a man. By learning and growing and being transformed.
And he never exercises authority as the son of God.
(18:04):
He exercises authority as the son of man. If he exercises authority as the son
of God, he would have violated the principle.
And that's what the enemy tried to trick him and said, if you're the son of
God, then make… I mean, in the 40 days when he went on top of the… I went into the wilderness.
So if you're the son of God, then turn these loaves into… these stones into bread.
Read so it just shows you that he was
(18:27):
tempted but the bible says in in john 5
verse i think 27 28 ish it
says that he didn't exercise his authority he exercises
authority because he was the son of man which is
giving it as an example of how to live in his suit as a human with the power
of of holy spirit but that was even before he was sacrificed on he was on the
(18:51):
cross so this is him living as a man with power of Holy Spirit on earth within
the laws, within the constraints.
And under those terms.
Got it. Yeah. So he couldn't violate the principles, which would be if he operated as a subject.
So someone said, well, then he's not God if he had to grow in understanding he's not God.
(19:14):
No, he is God. God is all powerful that he chose.
That's why it says in Philippians 2 that he chose.
He took on the form of a man you know
he humbled himself he surrendered all these
so if god can do
can dog do can god do these things and the answer is yes he can and that's what
(19:34):
he did he took off his godly nature to put on the form of a man so he grew in
wisdom that's why the scripture also says in hebrews 7 it says that he learned
obedience by the things which he suffered it?
What do you mean? How do you learn obedience by the things that you suffered? Well, think of it.
Yeshua is Superman. Think of it. Nobody can touch him. He's God. He creates He creates.
(20:00):
People are beings. He creates animals from the beginning. Sun, moon, stars.
So even the scripture in Colossians says everything was created through him and for him.
So now Yeshua who creates all these things,
now he has to force himself to feel what humans feel, what mankind feels.
(20:27):
Angels he has to not use these any of his power except
for what's given to mankind he has to surrender himself to his own creation
yeah and then he needs to suffer and that's why he has to think of it his body
he could have said nothing no nails can hurt me in the beginning of his ministry
they want to throw him off a cliff he walks right through them that shows you his,
(20:50):
his power he could have said to them i could call down 12 legions of angels,
Don't you know I could do that?
But his obedience forced him not to do that.
So he suffered. So he learned obedience by the things which he suffered.
In other words, knowing what he had access to and not using them because he
had to do it in the position of a man. Wow.
(21:12):
Yeah, wow. Okay. That's the gravity of what our Lord did for us.
That's pretty powerful. Right.
And now the thing of it, he took on a human flesh.
He knows God the Father loves us so much.
And he took on the flesh knowing. Corruptible flesh.
Well, yeah, but the thing is, as a son, you always want to be like your dad.
(21:36):
If you love your dad, you want to be like your dad forever.
It's like I want to wear the same clothes as my dad. I want to wear the same
shoes as my dad. I want to have the same everything.
I want to just be with my dad. I want to be like my dad, right?
That's what Yeshua wants. Now, Yeshua had to take that off him no longer.
It's like his dad. His dad is a spiritual being. Now he's a physical being.
(21:59):
He's a physical God, physically God. And so this is a distinct difference, which is a big deal.
And so when he had to surrender unto death, he didn't want to surrender unto
death, but he had to force himself, okay, I must die.
If it be your will, take this cup. For me, but obviously there was no other way.
There was no other way. There was no other way. And he even appealed to God.
(22:21):
He knew there was no other way, but he made a statement. if it's your will, if it is.
Possible. But it's not. It wasn't.
And now for eternity. It's going to be like this. He bears the scars.
He's going to have holes in his hands and his feet for eternity and his side
to remind us forever, for eternity, what he did for us and what God the Father.
(22:41):
I'm thinking God the Father.
The thinking about...
How he must have felt in order to win us to him, right? Yes,
power, man. It's his own cry. Okay.
It's so powerful. It's so powerful to think he did that for us,
both of them, all of them.
Wow. And the Holy Spirit, what Yeshua says, and we're going to talk about the
(23:06):
unpardonable sin, to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, because he says,
you sin against the Father, it will be forgiven.
You sin against me, the Son, it will be forgiven. You sin against or you go
against the Holy Spirit, blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven.
Yeah. It will not be forgiven.
We can talk about what that is one day. But the point is the Holy Spirit is
(23:29):
very sensitive, huge amount of love.
And he's the driving force to put this whole thing in action.
So he is, if someone shuts down what Holy Spirit is doing, The Bible talks about
quenching the spirit, grieving the spirit.
We never want to do that. So, Holy Spirit, please forgive us when we have ever done this. Forgive us.
(23:54):
So, going back to why didn't Yeshua know?
Notice, now that is a true statement. At that time, he chose not to know.
He never said after he was resurrected.
Now I don't know. Now I don't know. Now he knows everything.
Okay. But he can choose not to know. So he had to learn obedience.
(24:15):
He had to choose not take on. Because if he said, oh, I know,
I can tell you now what it is, he would be inviolated.
He would be drawing from heaven's resources.
When I say heaven's resources, I'm talking about he would only guard the Father that God knows.
And so he would be using his godly powers to build a man.
(24:37):
It's almost like when he was living as a man, he was tempted as a man to even
reveal things perhaps that as a man you would want to reveal,
but he had to constantly,
because he was tempted, I don't think he was just tempted on the wilderness,
but it definitely says he was without sin.
So he chose not to sin every time he was faced with any kind of temptation,
(25:03):
any kind of issues, anything.
And you said in your question as well, why didn't he just use his God showers and just.
And you say, well, he did. He laid hands on the sick. No, no, no, no.
Elijah did that. Elisha did this. So people laid hands on the sick and they
(25:23):
got healings. He did the same thing.
He exercised his authority as the son of man.
The reason why he had the power working through him is because he was clean
and the Holy Spirit could work through him because he's holy.
That's why the full power that you saw was through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Which only came upon him when he was baptized. Not when he was younger Not when
(25:45):
he was younger Only when he was 30 And he was baptized by John the Baptist And
then the scripture says The Holy Spirit descended upon him Well in the beginning
it says The Holy Spirit was inside him from birth Right from birth Because the
baby jumped inside of Mary,
Yeah in Elizabeth when Mary was greeting her Yeah but that was for John the
Baptist But the Holy Spirit was in Yeshua From the time of conception Right
(26:10):
from the conception conception.
So Holy Spirit taught him, directed him, and when Holy Spirit's inside somebody,
he teaches them, he directs them.
Holy Spirit upon is for the power. And that's the power that came upon him when he was baptized.
So that answers that question. So when you look at the question of why didn't
he know the hour, he chose not to know.
(26:32):
Not just that, I can show you other examples, but the fact is he had to humble
himself and took on a form of a man in order to die on the cross.
So he had to 100%.
And the fact is, why did he have to do that is the question.
Well, because in the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth,
then he gave mankind dominion and authority.
(26:55):
He says, go out and subdue.
He's given them dominion and authority. Even in Psalm 115, verse 16,
he says, He has gave the rulership of the earth to mankind to rule over it.
And so for God to just step in, he'd be violating his own word.
(27:17):
So that's why he had to come in the form of a man in order to redeem mankind.
It's like I think Billy Graham once said that it's like an ant.
You want to help an ant, the ant doesn't know any better.
You become an ant so you can speak to the ants so that you can relate and you
can teach them what to do.
(27:38):
And so going back to the Trinity, that's why the Bible talks about But what
Christ has done, he has brought us, reconciled us to God, the Father,
whilst we would never have known him.
The Holy Spirit, what the Jewish people can never do is be perfectly holy,
but the Holy Spirit has taken the heart of stone out of us, given us the heart
(28:02):
of flesh, and he helps us keep the commandments of God.
Because it even says, come boldly before the throne of God.
Because of Yeshua, now we can come boldly before the throne of God.
Because of what he has done. Before, there was no access.
They had to go through the high priest once a year. He had to go into the Holy
of Holies, and he could access the Father.
But now we can have access. Yeah, 100%.
(28:24):
100%. So he didn't exercise his authority as the Son of God, but as the Son of Man.
And because he did that, that's why I was just thinking about another topic
about it. I can imagine what the enemy must have thought.
Oh, we've got him now, we've got him. When Jesus was on the cross.
(28:44):
Yeah, we've got him, he's dying, we've got him, we've got him.
And the scripture says in Hebrews, if they knew. If they knew.
If they knew, they wouldn't have done this, right? If they knew,
they would have kept him alive. His sacrifice.
Meant that now the gates or the keys of death and Hades would be taken away from him.
All those people that had been there since the Old Testament were taken up to heaven.
(29:07):
And that's why the Bible says in Matthew 27, verse 52, that the graves were
opened after his resurrection, and many of the saints of old started walking
the streets of the holy city, which we know to be Jerusalem.
And then Christians from that point
on had access to the same power that Yeshua had when he was on earth.
(29:29):
Through the Holy Spirit, yeah. And that is why today the enemy wants to rob
Christians of knowing who we are in Christ and what power he's given us,
that we are more than conquerors because of him.
And that's why I have a real issue with Calvinists, because they'll accept Christ's
sacrifice, but they ignore the power of Holy Spirit and the responsibility that we have.
(29:52):
And instead of us negating the miracles of God, we ought to step out and instead
of saying, oh, this would be God's will.
It is his will. We are to step out. And if it doesn't happen,
it's not always God's fault.
It's ours because our lack of stepping out, our lack of faith,
(30:13):
our lack of belief, and we need to take some responsibility.
So going back to the Trinity, that's why when one person gets baptized,
how do they get baptized?
What do you mean? You mean today? Yeah, today. So if someone gets baptized,
what happens? Well, firstly, they have to be a believer.
Yes, so they accept Yeshua as their Lord and Savior. And then they are baptized
(30:35):
in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The name of the Father, the Son. The assignment of the Father,
the assignment of the Son, and the assignment of the Holy Spirit, which is one.
Okay. And that's in Matthew 28, verse 18. That's right. Okay.
18 to 19. So that's where that is. But the point is, when you look at the book
of Acts, you don't see them baptizing in the Father, the Son,
(30:57):
and the Holy Spirit. Who are they baptizing in?
They're baptizing in the name of Yeshua. Which is the name of the same assignment.
Because what is Yeshua? He's the Yahweh sets free. Yahweh sets free.
So Yahweh sets free. So we're baptizing in, we're basically saying Yahweh sets free. He set you free.
(31:19):
Yahweh sets free. Yahweh sets free.
So I have a question. Okay. Well, I'm just looking at our time.
All of that, but this is relating to the Trinity.
Okay. And it actually was a question someone asked me two weeks ago.
And the question was, Because if the Trinity exists, Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit, which I know it does, they said, why do we only see Yeshua
(31:41):
in the beginning of Matthew? How would you answer that question?
He's not in the Old Testament. He's only in the New Testament.
Oh, he's throughout the Old Testament.
If I had to go to, for example, I'm going to go to, I believe it's Proverbs 31.
(32:01):
No, Proverbs 32. No, there's no Proverbs 32.
No, what is it? Psalms. No, it's Proverbs 30, verse 4.
It says here, okay, this is Proverbs 30, and it says here.
No, don't read that. That's the NIV. I get my computer refreshes. How bad?
(32:22):
Yeah, sure. You almost read from it. You know, Bible Gateway keeps doing that.
They keep refreshing to NIV.
And I actually complained once and they said to me, oh, most people use NIV.
That's why we have NIV as our automatics.
And I said, well, most people can be wrong.
(32:43):
It doesn't mean that it's the right thing to do. Did you really write to them?
Yeah, but they didn't listen. But anyway, that's okay.
So in Proverbs 30 verse 4, it says, Who has ascended into heaven or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in his fist?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name?
(33:08):
And what is his son's name? If you can tell me, let me tell you. His name is Yahweh.
And his son's name is also Yahweh.
Yahweh sets free His name is Yahweh And his son's name is Yahweh Now we know
today His name is Yeshua Because that's the name that was given to him What do you mean?
(33:31):
Because that's the first That's one of the times You notice his name And his
son's name So he has a son The only begotten son that John talks about Okay,
So that's I already mentioned now The son We talked about in Genesis In the
beginning When God spoke the word. But there's another time.
Remember Moses goes onto the mountain and he speaks to the Lord and he says,
(33:55):
let me see your face. And he says, Moses, you can't see my face.
I'll show you basically my back. So he covers Moses' face. Moses sees his back.
Okay? Because he says, nobody see my face.
Nobody. Nobody. Okay? So if nobody, then what about Abraham?
(34:16):
Because we know that Abraham saw Yahweh. He saw before Sodom and Gomorrah was
destroyed and Lot was saved. Before that happened, you had two angels and the
Lord appearing to Abraham.
And mom ran his tent. At his tent and told him that his son will be born.
(34:37):
And his wife laughed and he called him Isaac. That's why, because it means laughter, right?
And so she laughed and a year later, he had a son. But one of them was the Lord. So Abraham saw him.
Who did Abraham see? See, John 8 says, Abraham saw my day and was pleased.
(34:57):
You're not like your father Abraham.
Who did he see? Who did Abraham see? He saw Yeshua.
That's who Abraham is. What about in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach?
Well, that's like the Son of God. Now, could it be the Son of God?
It's like the Son of God. Now, also, you need to understand something.
The Son of God is also a term that's used means from God. So,
(35:21):
for example, the angels are also known as sons of God.
That's where the Jehovah's Witnesses come and they say, oh, you see,
he's a son of God, which therefore he's an angel.
And so Jehovah's Witnesses say that he's like Michael the archangel.
Okay. And you go, well, I can go to Hebrews 1 and I can show very clearly that
where did he say to any of these angels that I'll put your enemies under your foot?
(35:44):
Right. Show me. and then Hebrews 1 and Hebrews 2 talks about how powerful.
The Son of God in how he's different from the angels because of that term.
So that's why I want to make sure that we distinguish between the Son.
Because the Bible says the sons of God came down and stepped with the sons of
man. And sometimes the word messenger also is interpreted, right? It's translated.
(36:08):
Well, the word angel, when the word angel, that's something else to do with sons of God.
Okay, the word angel is referred to as messenger. But they can also be sons of God, the angels.
Yeah. Yeah. Angels can be, when you said angels can be supernatural beings, but also messengers.
So depending on, for example, to the angel of the church of Ephesus.
The word angel is not like an angel. God is telling an angel in a supernatural being.
(36:33):
He's telling the messenger of the church. In other words, the person is the
messenger of the church, the leader of the church. He's giving them instructions.
So we've established that Yeshua is in the Old Testament and Holy Spirit we've
seen from… I can give you, so Yeshua, we can talk about Abraham seeing Abraham.
(36:54):
We can talk about it here in Proverbs. I can talk about it in Psalms,
in the Word of God. I can talk about...
These are clear examples. And then I was also going to say, okay,
well, God the Father, he spoke, right?
And like we spoke about Genesis 1.
Another question is, what about Holy Spirit? I was just going to say,
it's not Holy Spirit, but we already mentioned in Genesis 1 too,
(37:17):
it said the Spirit hovered over the face of the deep in Genesis 1.
So we know the Spirit was there. And another one would be in Ezekiel,
Ezekiel 2, where he talks about, it says, and the Spirit entered into me.
This is in Ezekiel 2 verse 2. The Spirit entered into me When he spoke unto me Who spoke unto him?
(37:37):
Ezekiel Same as when it happened So Ezekiel And then
the Holy Spirit speaks to him Through the
whole course of From Ezekiel 2 to Ezekiel
4 So you can see the working of the Holy Spirit over there And also now the
Spirit came upon Saul So that Saul prophesied So you can see Came upon David
to play So the Holy Spirit came upon Elijah Elijah Also the people And notice
(38:00):
the Holy Spirit came upon people to do the artwork of the tabernacle.
Yes, yes, yes. And so it wasn't supernatural power, but it gave them the ability
to make those things perfectly like God wants it.
And only the person that knows how to do that is the Holy Spirit.
So you can be an expert, but unless you have the Holy Spirit inside you,
(38:21):
because he'll tell you a little bit off here, change a little bit here.
And the Holy Spirit was key and is key. That's why the best gift,
that's why Yeshua himself says, I have to go.
So that you can have. Because the best gift that you can get is Holy Spirit.
The best gift. There's no better gift than Holy Spirit.
So we can see them from Genesis to Revelation, all three of them working through the scriptures.
(38:47):
No contradictions, evidence of all of them.
So that is how we come up with.
Which is a generic term invented to just refer to them because Trinity means three.
It means three. Again, if you're going to get caught up, you can say the Father,
Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Someone said, are you Trinitarian? No, I'm not Trinitarian. I believe in God, and he's my Father.
(39:10):
And he has a Son and Holy Spirit. And I need all of them every single day.
So Yeshua, for example, then the question you should ask is, well, who do I pray to?
Okay? Do we want to do that another time? No, just do this now.
Just cover the Trinity right now. Well, Yeshua taught us in Matthew 9, he taught us how to pray.
(39:32):
Matthew 6, I mean 9, 6-9, taught us how to pray.
He said, this is how you pray, our Father who art in heaven.
So we're not asked how to pray? And there's another passage also in Mark,
he says, how do you pray? He says, our Father.
So that's how we are to pray, our Father.
Okay? But there are times, like, for example, in Acts, where the disciples said,
(39:54):
we asked Holy Spirit who he thought would be the better one.
So there were times when they sought Holy Spirit for insight and advice.
Well, they never sought that. The Holy Spirit told them. So there's a difference between praying.
No, but it did say. No, you're referring to Acts 2. Yes, Acts 2.
No. No, Acts 13. 13 verse 2.
(40:15):
So in Acts 13, it says, As they ministered to the Lord and fasted,
the Holy Spirit said, notice the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and
Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
And then it says, And when they had fasted and prayed, that they had hands on
them and sent them away. So notice, and then being sent forth by the Holy Spirit.
(40:37):
So yes, obviously you can see the Holy Spirit working with them.
But they're working together, speaking to him. him he's speaking back
if he has a voice he's obviously saying yeah so but
then i'll also i can show that they spoke to to yeshua
you know who spoke to yeshua four spoke to yeshua in two corinthians 12 you
(40:59):
so how do you know that well in in two corinthians 12 the word lord is used
curious and that's always referring to most of the times in in second corinthians
referring to the Lord Yeshua Christ.
And so he says he approached the Lord three times when he was being persecuted.
And so when you're being persecuted, he approached Yeshua. Because he knew Yeshua
(41:21):
had experienced the same suffering.
And another passage is Yeshua himself says that you can also pray to him.
I'll give you a passage now. It's actually in John 14. I believe it's in verse….
I'm going to read from verse 11. It says, Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me.
Or else believe me for the very worksakes. For verily I say unto you,
(41:43):
he that believes in me, the works that I do, he'll do also.
And greater works than these he'll do because I go to my Father.
By the way, those greater works isn't, oh, you need to do more miracles,
signs, or greater miracles.
Because Yeshua made the man walk. He walked on water.
He flew. So what greater signs are we talking about here?
(42:04):
This, what Yeshua hadn't given them at that moment is the Holy Spirit, the best gift.
That's why the greater works is the ability that we can lay hands on people
and they can receive the Holy Spirit. That is the greater works.
And therefore, by that, people can get saved. That's the greater works.
(42:27):
Okay, so now going on. And whatsoever you ask in my name, I will do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
And if you ask anything in my name, I will do.
But he's not saying, he's not saying, ask me and I will do it,
because he says, yeah, but anyway, he says he will pray the Father.
(42:49):
Anyway, no, no, no. Then he says, I will pray the Father, and the Father will give you comfort.
So this is later, right? But here, for example, this is, well,
here it's not necessarily,
when you're doing a healing assignment, you can go to the Father and then you
can say on behalf and why you're doing this, Yeshua said this,
I want to set captives free here, Lord, and the reason, and then Yeshua would do it.
(43:14):
But I think the key passage is that we can talk to Yeshua, I believe, because he is alive.
And don't say that he's interceding for us night and day. Yeah, and we can talk to him.
We can talk to Holy Spirit. There's no, someone said, well, the Bible doesn't
say that you can talk to Holy Spirit.
Well, if you can talk to demons and tell them to leave, and you say, what's your name?
(43:39):
How much more can you speak to the Holy Spirit and to Yeshua? Amen.
Yep. So I personally, when I get persecuted and stuff, sometimes I talk to Yeshua.
Okay? He can relate. Yeah. I know God the Father can relate too, but I talk to Yeshua.
He relates as a man. And when I'm learning something in the scriptures,
I say, Holy Spirit, I don't understand this. Can you please explain this to me?
(44:01):
And then he opens my eyes. Well, Holy Spirit, help me. I don't know what to say next.
I don't know. Yeah. Can you help me? Can you help me with confidence of speaking
in front of people? Holy Spirit, where must I go shopping today?
Where should I go to buy food? But then also, I speak to God the Father when
I'm praying in the morning.
God the Father, thank you for, and then I go on and I say, give me my daily
bread. Give me my daily assignment. What do you want me to do?
(44:22):
What do you want me to do today for you? Are you supposed to help me? Right?
So, you want to close in prayer? No, so I was thinking, is there anything more you wanted to say?
No, close in prayer. But you're the one who's been talking about them. Okay, close in prayer.
Okay, go. Okay. Okay, so Heavenly Father, thank you for this time we've had together, Lord.
(44:44):
We don't know what we're going to talk about, but obviously we put on our hearts
to speak about you and your Son and Holy Spirit.
And we want to thank you for the way the three of you work together to bless
us and guide us and comfort us, teach us, lead us.
And thank you for the wisdom that you've given us to be able to understand how you work together.
(45:06):
And Lord, I pray for all those listening that they may know you more and grow
closer to you so that your name may be glorified in the mighty name of your son. Amen. Amen. Amen.
