El Real Instituto Elcano publica la decimotercera edición del Policy Paper "España en el mundo: perspectivas y desafíos". Este trabajo anual y coral del Instituto analiza qué puede ocurrir en el mundo este año, así como las perspectivas para España en el plano internacional y las oportunidades y desafíos para la acción exterior española. Miembros del equipo de investigación de todas las áreas del Instituto han participado en esta edición de 2025.
El documento explora los escenarios previstos para 2025 (los optimistas y los pesimistas) de los diez ejes de la agenda de investigación del Instituto, a saber: (1) Influencia e imagen exterior, (2) Globalización y desarrollo, (3) Seguridad, (4) Clima y energía, (5) Economía y tecnología, (6) Europa, (7) Vecindad, (8) América Latina, (9) China-EEUU, relación transatlántica y Asia y (10) Democracia, derechos y género.
¿Cuál será el impacto del regreso de Trump en la relación transatlántica? ¿Qué puede esperarse de la nueva Comisión Europea? ¿Cómo se desarrollarán los escenarios bélicos y qué consecuencias tendrán para cuestiones como la seguridad energética o el terrorismo global?
