In this deeply personal episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on the last three weeks of my life—the first break I've taken in FOUR YEARS of bringing you consistent content. This isn't about excuses; it's about US, our humanity, and what happens when life demands that we show up differently than we planned. Sometimes stepping away is the strongest thing you can do. As my father underwent two major surgeries that led to three weeks of complications, hospital stays, and some of the scariest moments I've ever experienced. I stayed by his bedside every single night, and in doing so, I ran from the very therapy this podcast provides me. I recorded shows that never felt right to release. I tried to maintain consistency while my world was shaking. But I learned something powerful: authenticity will always matter more than anything else, and sometimes the most important content is explaining why there wasn't content. This episode is my thank you letter to every single person who sent prayers, texts, DMs, cards, flowers, and positive energy during this time. You became the battery in my back when mine was running on empty. I'm sharing what it feels like to miss your purpose, to feel things unwinding, and to have the courage to step back and recoup. I'm also talking about this morning's lesson—when I went looking for a peaceful park for my Sunday meditation and had to choose wisdom over content when the situation didn't feel safe. How did you give yourself permission to be human? Let's normalize putting people over platforms and presence over productivity. We're all healing, growing, and learning together. 💙 P.S. - My dad says thank you too. Keep those prayers coming. 🙏🏾👑
