Surpreendeu-me o início da canção Tell It How I See It, mas rapidamente notei as características da música jazz, apesar da liberdade criativa bem vincada por parte dos músicos dos MABGATE e da voz de August Charles.
Uma audição mesmo descuidada, facilmente encontra referências de música portuguesa nos MABGATE. Sobretudo nas melodias e ritmos da guitarra.
Formados em Mabgate, na área de Leeds, com o nome original Mabgate Organ Trio, evoluiram para o som actual, contando com alguns convidados da cena musical local.
